To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.




Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down

You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

  1. Set name filter broken

    The card database set filter is broken.
    Open the advanced search
    Click on the Set Name dropdown
    Actual: no sets displayed; typing in the box does nothing; hitting the search button does nothing.
    Expected: list of set names displayed; typing in the box filters the list by the input characters; once selected, the chosen set is added to the search criteria.

  3. Advance Search Soft Lock

    UI won’t let me click advance search because the new screen selector at the bottom covers up the button

  4. Unknown notification, unable to clear

    Unable to clear notification. Unclear why there is a notification. No events are running. Have tried logging out of account, restarting phone and uninstalling/reinstalling. Notification persists

  6. Match results reset to 0 while trying to enter them

    On iOS if you are tracking life and click back to event to enter your match results and quickly tap the buttons for the match results, it will briefly update to the correct values before resetting to 0-0 forcing you to re-enter the results. If you aren’t playing close attention it’s easy to accidentally enter a 0-0 result.

  7. The Advanced card search subtype catogory doesn't display

    1. Go to advaced search window
    2. Open subtype catagory
    3. Actual: The search bar appers with no options.
    4. Expected: The search bar with options.

  9. Wheel menu prevents people from developing muscle memory

    When you use static menus people remember where items are and get quicker at navigating to what they need. The wheel menu looks cool but makes it harder to actually find what you're looking for.

  10. Lose

    nice to meet you.

    I am an event worker at a certain Japan Card shop.
    When I participated in the event at the shop where I work or on the go,
    Matching is supposed to be displayed on the MTG Companion screen, but only my app shows the screen "Loss", and I'm always in trouble because I can't figure out who my opponent is.

    I think it's probably because I'm running WEL with my account.

    The app is updated every time the latest version comes out, but I've been having this bug for about a year now ;(

  11. DMU Doesn't Display if Standard is Checked

    I might be missing something but when I use advanced search and filter for standard, none of the cards from Dominatia United are popping up. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I just updated the app so that shouldn’t be the issue. Thanks

    We get to look at standing and matches all during the event but loss the ability to look at it after. MTGMelee gives to option to look at who played who and overall records well after an event has ended

  14. Search function, rotation not implemented

    Searching in companion app for standard legal cards: rotation seems not implemented. It's finding ZKR, KLD, STR cards, and not DMU ones.

    TS: app was up to date (15sep, 1.0.702283); tried different searches, all replicated the issue described

  16. Cant get out of an event

    I have been stuck in 2 "Steve's events" for months now. Went to a few FNM away from my home store and these guys where not versed in the apps use. I can't drop them as they never started. Creators say there is nothing they can do. Please help.

  17. Event Removal

    When adding an event in error or having to cancel due to changes in plans there should be a way to remove your request to be added to the event to minimize any strain on the event holder.

  18. Unable to Join Event

    When i enter in the app companion a message appear(portuguese):"Desculpe-nos! Estamos com problemas. Tente novamente mais tarde" and when i try to enter the code to an event the same message pops up.
    Obs. I just installed the app for the first time and log in with my account. I also tryed to reinstall the all
