Before You Create a New Report
For New Reports
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
- Open SpellTable and start or join a lobby
- Select the gear icon to configure inputs
- Actual: No input devices are detected under “Camera Source”
- Expected: My camera can be selected for “Camera Source”
Additional Information to Provide
- The brand, model, and/or type of device you’re using (USB webcam, Android/Tablet, iPhone/iPad, etc.)
- The version or your operating system you’re using (i.e.: Windows 10, MacOS Big Sur, Android 11, iOS 14, etc.)
- Your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.)
- A screenshot of the issue or any error messaging received (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
- The last are simple checks for any camera/microphone issues you might encounter:
- Ensured permission has been granted for your Camera and Microphone through your preferred browser: Use your camera & microphone
- Ensured that no other programs are using your Camera or Microphone (you can find information on how to perform this check by searching online)
- Temporarily disabling any Anti-Virus programs that might disable camera and microphone access (even if you’re already granted it)
- Tested your camera is working with Online Mic Test

Unstable and unhinged land art style
Can the unstable and unhinged land art style be available for purchase? I am a customer who likes to spend gems and gold making my deck look pretty but am very frustrated that I am unable to access some cool looking full art lands.

Phone Camera Stuck on Loading Screen
Hey! I've been trying to connect my phone to spelltable and everything works fine until I press join game, for some reason when it starts loading in I get stuck on a blank page and it doesn't show my camera anymore but my phone is saying spelltable is using it. Not sure if it's my phone or is it something with the site?

Cannot Scan Enemy Cards
Hi, when in spelltable the card scanner only works on myself, but not on my opponents. it does not even try to scan them. I am on a mac and ive tried every browser. could you help me?
- I use Chrome, but have tried every browser
- Smartphone
- MacOS 12.0.1
- no error code or message
- there is no border around any cards of the opponents, only around my cards, so the AI only searches my cards, but does not even try to scan the other cards

Set Commander Search and Search are Buggy !
Not sure which version of ST I am running but since you've added ads when a player is eliminated (which ever version update this happened in) the search when trying to add a commander seems to not work very well.
It seems like if you type in certain cards it will be on the search icon forever. For example, I wanted to use "Augusta, Dean of the Order" as my commander. It will not ever find the card in my commander search.
In addition when I try to search it in the main search bar it will not find Augusta.…3 votes -
Consistent Camera Issues
Our weekly playgroup has noticed a few different visual issues cropping up with our webcams that were not present before. For me, my webcam (Logitech C920) was working perfectly for weeks. Then it began to have an artifact where the screen would glitch and tear. Nothing changed as far as my webcams setup or drivers. I cleared out all Chrome cache files etc and the problem persists. However, if I feed my camera through Nvidia Broadcast, there are no issues.

Chat Suggestions; Card Lookup
Thank you for this website, it is amazing! I have two requests/recommendations for your consideration. First, give us a communal chat box please! Second, when someone uses the look up a card feature have it appear on everyone's feed. That way we don't have to hold the card up to the camera or spell it out for everyone else in the match. Again, thanks, love this product!

Spectate Should Not Require a Camera
On spelltable, if I'm going to spectate, a game, i should not need to give spelltable access to my input devices. The ability to view a game should not be disabled if I don't give access to my video/mic.

SpellTable Moderation
Hey there! Currently the age of 33 out of Rumford, RI. I've noticed a serious lacking of live moderation and would be super interested. I've been playing magic for roughly twenty plus years and really do just play for the love of the game. I've previously admined/modded for a DOOM game group as well as other mIRCS. I would also be willing to do this for free just to be able to help out the community and elevate the spell table experience.
Anyways, heres some feedback/ideas in list form:

Doesn't Recognize Bluetooth Headset
i always use this as my headset but now it just goes for 1 second then back to speaker phone, btw im using android tablet for playing and android phone as a webcam

QR Code Doesn't Link to Camera
Hello,
I have problem when Iam trying to join to the game and try to connect my audio/video via mobile phone with QR code. it directs me to the main screen of the game and not to the link where iam using mobile as camera. It happens only when iam trying to join game. If I create game it works fine. Can you pls help.Thank you

Please Link This Site on Spelltable
I only found this Site because I wrote to the Support about a Problem. It should be linked on Spelltable so people can actually find it. I think it is a good Idea that you can vote here if you have the same issue, but if most of the people don't even find this page, who is going to vote?

Camera Inverted
Hi,
It's been for months now that you can't type the letter F in Spelltable. Neither in the Search Function nor when entering your commanders name.
In addition to this for a few days now when I try to flip anyones camera (including mine) it just gets vertically mirrored instead. The Result is a mirror-inverted picture of the board. It also seems that the Cardscanner is not able to scan Cards that are inverted like this.3 votes -
Menu bar missing on mobile
Using chrome on mobile (android 12), I somehow hid the menu bar in game. I can no longer mute, change settings, etc.
On PC I can move the mouse to the left side of the screen and the menu pops up. On mobile that equates to hitting the back button in the browser, and leaves the game. I have relogged a few times trying to reset my window, to no avail. I only see the four player screens no matter what I have tried.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Add a Zoom or Magnify Tool
A great feature could be the ability to zoom on a part of the webcam picture of a friend in order to magnify a part of his/her board

Add Language Support for Card Recognition
Sometimes a deck contains foreign language cards that are not recognized, and the search function only return English cards.
Would be great if the search function can take any language as input, even if it's only returning the english version picture.

Lobby Game State Indicators
To who ever reads this. I have a suggestion for improving the spell table experience. One thing that has always been a little irritating is the situation where you have 2 or 3 players ready to start a match, you decide to play with just 3 instead of waiting for a fourth player and then turn 5 or 6 someone fills the empty spot and you have to either tell them to leave, stop playing to discuss if it's worth them waiting for the game to end to join the next game or so on.

Randomize Player Alert
If possible, please add a feature to spelltable that broadcasts an alert to all players when the "Randomize Player Order" button has been hit. Currently there is no way to know if it has been hit unless you click it yourself, and this can look suspicious when you do but no position changes occur.
