I’m with Seth. I am effectively boycotting Ugin. If an opponent drops it, I concede. I refuse to let them have the “fun” of playing it, which in turn nullifies the intent of Wizards including this card to begin with. I hope those players will see this and realize that Ugin is a scummy OP card; if that is how you need (or worse, want) to win, then I pity you. It’s sort of like the kid who brings his dinosaur to destroy all your green army men, and about as sophisticated and mature in MTG terms. Need to win that badly? Fine, here you go, enjoy your 50g. I’ll play with someone else.
BOYCOTT UGIN!

Yes, the word “are” is missing (“decks that are missing”). This is on iOS as well.

Colossal Majesty has a triggered ability, not an activated one (which typically involve spending mana and tapping the card). So, Faith’s Fetters wouldn’t affect it.

Ugin is another card in this vein, but that is rotating out soon, thankfully. Unfortunately, we’re stuck with Ruin Crab (ZKR), Maddening Cacophony (ZKR), and now (the oh-so-exciting!) Tasha’s Hideous Laughter (AFR) until September 2022.
What these mill decks seem to be saying is that the best strategy is to have your opponent not play their cards at all. In fact, Tasha’s Hideous Laughter exiles your cards, unplayed. It is neither a fun nor meaningful play experience to have your precious Mythic Rares and lands flushed down a magical toilet bowl.
IRL, when facing a mill deck, I might as well hand my cards to my opponent, have them go behind my FLGS and burn my cards in a dumpster. Because that’s what mill essentially does.
Of course, one defense against mill is to have more cards in your library, so maybe this mechanic is intended to get players to buy more cards. If so, it illustrates the point that greed does win over fun now.

Yes, I like that card, too. I wish there more cards like that that synergized with the Foretell mechanic.
As it is now, Foretell is often just a mana layaway plan. Kind of boring.

Among other things, this would be a great option for f2p players and those on a budget. Besides, I have a pretty good Brawl deck right now and would like to see how it compares in a ranking system. Also, I find Brawl a more creative format and, as a Johnny, I enjoy the decks I play and play against there.

Unfortunately, it is from Zendikar Rising, so we’ll be stuck with this trash card until September 2022. As if green needs more help.

Ashaya makes all creatures Forests. Banishing Light only works against non-land permanents.

Children play this game. Think of the harm Ugin does to their young, precious minds.
For God’s sake, WOTC, if nothing else, do it for the kids!
