Giver of Runes is not Mother of Runes. The Giver has the possible choice of colorless and so CAN protect from Karakas. You probably ASSUMED the choice of protection from white without paying much attention, but your opponent chose colorless.

The backside has a blue/green color indicator, making this card have a color identity of u/g.

Your Toxic Deluge enters the graveyard before state based action s are checked. If there were no sorceries in the graveyards before it, then Pyrogoyf's toughness increases by 1 due to this BEFORE state based actions happen and would see it at 0 toughness. This is the same reason why Bolting a 2/3 Tarmogoyf without instants in the graveyard fails to kill it.

Impending an Overlord is still casting it as a creature spell. It is a creature spell for the entire time it is on the stack. It just ENTERS as a noncreature enchantment. That's why you can't counter it with Spell Pierce, it's not a legal target.

Also, an object having card types other than creature when also having the type creature does not ever make the object a noncreature. It is a creature, therefore it is not a noncreature.

While that is your opinion, "return from graveyard to battlefield" effects never cared about the cards having been on the battlefield previously or not. Heck, reanimator decks have existed for as long as graveyard recursion has existed, meaning since the very beginning of the game. And never was there any requirement for the reanimated card to have been on the battlefield previously. And there still isn't such a requirement. Just like "return to hand" doesn't care wether the object has been in your hand previously.

No, Overlord of the Balemuck is simply not legendary. None of the Duskmourn Overlords are.

    No, read Fiendlash again:

"Whenever EQUIPPED CREATURE is dealt damage, IT deals damage equal to ITS POWER to target player or planeswalker."

No mention of Fiendlash dealing damage. "It" refers to the equipped creature, it's the only thing it can refer to in that sentence. Power is referenced, and Fiendlash has no power. If Fiendlash were supposed to deal the damage, the card would say "Fiendlash deals damage", or "this equipment deal damage" now.

Ocelot Pride only makes tokens for tokens you control at the time. You sacrificed the Treasure, so you did not control the Treasure anymore, thus no Treasure token.

Impossible options cannot be chosen. Since Narset prevents the opponent from drawing additional cards, you cannot choose to have them draw additional cards. Thus milling them is the only valid option and thus the only "choice".

What kills a creature is not the damage, it is state based actions seeing the creature with lehtal damage marked. And state based actions are only checked at very specific times: right before any player would receive priority, and in the cleanup step. Continuous effects from static abilities, like that Leyline boost, apply IMMEDIATELY, there is no delay. So by the time state based actions are checked, the Leyline's boost is already in effect.

So no, this is not a bug. This is you not understanding the rules.

Putting your commander back into the command zone is a state based action. Those do not happen while an object on the stack is resolving. This means, that when your commander is milled with Gyruda, your opponent can nab it before you get the chance to put it back, because grabbing a creature card is part of the still resolving ability.

Did you have the 4 mana available to cast it? Because the alterntive cost is only available on your turn as per the card's text.

Unfortunately, to exert as you are attacking requires you to declare the exerting creature by itself not alongside others. You can attack with multiple creatures, but the you have to select the excerting one by itself to get the exert option. If it is part of a group of creatures, like attack with all, or select those 3 to attack, you don't get the exert choice. So, individually declare the exert creature as attacker, choose the exert, then selcte more creature to attack with. Or choose attack with all, then unselect the exerter, reselct the exerter, choose exert, then confirm attackers. Something along those lines. Should not be nessessary, I agree, but is at least a workaround.

"Without paying its mana cost" really only means without paying the mana cost. The mana cost is ONLY what's printed in the upper right corner of the card. Additional costs and cost increases are NOT covered by that. Meaning, Thalia's cost increase is not covered, it's not part of the mana cost, you have to pay the 1 mana.

After the creature gets sacrificed, Sheltered by Ghosts stays on the battlefield until state based actions are checked, which is only after Invoke Despair has FULLY RESOLVED. State based actions are not checked in the middle of an object resolving. Meaning, it is around, though not attached to anything, when Invoke Despair demands the sacrifice of an enchantment. And is thus a valid choice for that.

It says, that the creature deals the damage. So the damage comes from the creature and thus from a source with deathtouch. Hunter's Talent is not the object dealing damage. This is true for almost all bite spells. The exceptions are those that specifically say, that something other than the creature is dealing the damage, usually the spell itself. So pay attention to the wording of the effect.

The reason is, that your opponent has CAST the card as Nia, Fabled Skyclimber. This is a DFC, that is both modal AND transforming. You can cast the front face and later transform it via its ability, or you can cast the back face directly. Many cards in the Omenpath/Spiderman set have that feature.

It disappears with the END OF THE FIRST MAIN PHASE. As is proper as per the rules. Unless the effect generating the mana states otherwise, or there is another effecvt stating that the mana stays in the pool, ALL PLAYERS'S MANA POOLS EMPTY WITH THER END OF EVERY STEP AND PHASE of every turn.

500.4. When a step or phase ends, any unused mana left in a player’s mana pool empties. This turn-
based action doesn’t use the stack.

So if you don't want to lose the mana from Cheering Crowd, you have to use it in the first main phase, where it is added to your mana pool

Marked damage tends to cause destruction when you reduce the toughness of the creature it's marked on enough to become lethal. Which you did by removing the toughness boost of the Nettlecyst from the creature.
