Also encountered this issue. Internet connection was lost for ~30 seconds causing a disconnect, and ended up stuck at the "Currently Waiting" screen with game sounds playing in the background. Closed and relaunched the client only to end up at the same screen. Was only returned to the main Arena menu after relaunching again after game and match losses were handed out from timeouts.

Same here. My connection dropped for a second and the game immediately disconnected me. Went through the usual loading screens again (loading assets, etc) but got stuck at "currently waiting". The moment where the game would normally go to the splash screen with the avatars the screen fades to black and then shows the same "currently waiting" screen again. In the background I hear the cluttered sound effects of the game catching up and the rope burning down causing me to time out. I've tried to logout-login, restart the client, etc. Nothing worked so long as the match continued. Eventually I died/got kicked out which allowed me to get back to the home screen again.

Since this was a traditional draft where I was 1-0 ahead and in a very favourable position (ahead on board with Garruk in play) you can class me as not-amused. Especially since it would be the jump from 800 gems reward to 1500 gems Even in beta i've not seen the game ***** up like that.

No logs because I tried to restart the game a few times. Added a screenshot of the waiting screen. The sound effects of me horribly dying behind that screen you will have to imagine.

Exactly the same problem. Lost Connection after that I re-connected to my WiFi an started the game.I heard all the sounds of my opponent (summon spells) but had that "currentlyy waiting" screeen. That happened 3 or 4 times….. in traditional Standard. Its so annoying to waste Money.

Disconnected from Bo3 game 1 draft after losing, and cannot reconnect after clicking reconnect to server (stuck in currently waiting for over a minute.) After client client restarts and game continues to be stuck in currently waiting, whilst gameplay (and roping) continues in background.

This result me getting timed out and getting a loss.

Tierd of wasting money and losing the games because of the bugs.

Similar bug. Killed client process while sideboarding because it was chugging too much (the persistent memory leak problem arena has being a whole separate issue...). When I restarted I got stuck in an endless "currently waiting" screen, even though the match is definitely over by now. Restarting client and logging in and out of account do not solve the issue.

Happening to me in Draft.

Received server error mid-battle in a 2 of 3 match. Game reloaded "preparing assets..." then went to "currently waiting" screen. For 2 minutes I could hear the game continue without me, the timer running on my turn, the opponent attacking etc. Tried exiting game and re-entering, tried logging out and logging in, with no success. THis is horrible.

While in a match, I closed the client to deal with an audio bug. I immediately re-opened the client, which took me to a loading screen with "Currently Waiting:" and a timer at the bottom. I could hear audio from the game but this screen never exits.

Game sounds have continued. I can tell that I have currently lost the Constructed Event match I was playing from the sounds, and I can click and drag on "cards" at the bottom of the screen, although feedback is audio only. The game is completely unresponsive and the "Currently Waiting" time is well over 8 minutes now.

Exiting and re-opening the client did not allow me to re-enter the match while it was in progress, and only showed the "Currently Waiting" screen.
