Algorithm Improvement
I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.
But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile and put those cards on top. A better template would be from the card shuffler for poker sets from stores.

There is an alarming problem with shuffling and matching.
If I create a new deck, it can't be that it is paired with an identical deck, with the difference that the opponent does have the necessary resources against my proposal.
It can't be that the distribution of times you start and your opponent starts is so unequal. Making a "mono-net" deck only work if you start and the game weights you in the majority of the times your opponent starts.
The card dealing mechanism needs to be revised, it can't be that there is such a high probability that you fill up with lands or that some cards are literally ghosts, they don't come out.
Incorporate a voluntary poll after each game, the possibility to export and share Decks with all users, possibility to make contacts between opponents.And, most importantly, make sure you don't use bots. Or in any case, that the AI used is not so lucky as to jeopardise the player's experience.
They should reconsider the odds and try to make sure that everyone has a real ability to play fair, responsive games. It can't be that I have all the resources available and my opponent only lands, or the other way around.
Help complete collections by exchanging resources for specialisation in game form (historical, standard, limited...).
And be agile in responding and acting on user needs and suggestions. You earn millions thanks to us and the experience today is frankly deficient.
The current experience is mostly hit and miss, generating short games, favouring too much the real payment to obtain resources and generating frustration and something as important and dangerous as gambling addiction.

6 out of 7 cards in a row were land. I get it the shuffler is random but no way this can happen as often as it does. I’ve also found if I start with 4 lands I am guaranteed to draw one if not two lands for my very first draws. There is a consistency in the “random” shuffling that becomes a repeated pattern. The two games before this match, I got 2-3 lands right when I was in the losing stretch. On iOS. The best workaround I have found is downloading a deck with this bug then uploading it as if it is a new deck. I perform way better with a “new” deck. There is a very obvious shuffler pattern.

Arena has some of the most abysmal RNG with draws/hands I have ever encountered in an online client-based TCG. It goes beyond simply having "bad luck" when I have had multiple instances of double digit losses due entirely to having a mediocre to terrible hand/draws, while those same matches have my opponent have juuuuuuust enough to outpace me or topdeck a win when I'm finally getting back on my feet.
This isn't just complaining about losses, however. Most of my wins have been due to luck, and I've had very few matches that I have won and lost that were due to player skill. This game is, in its own way, as bad as Yugioh Master Duel in how much the RNG involved in draws are wildly skewed.
As much as I enjoy aspects of this game and how it's structured better than other competitors, this game has effectively killed my enjoyment and desire to play any further because of how bad the RNG of draws are. It borderlines on malicious with how often I've been on the receiving end.
Congrats on getting what money you've gotten out of me, WotC, you won't be getting any more, and you won't be getting any more of my time and effort in playing this game ever again. I'm gone, and I don't care if you fix this problem, you can rot.

FIX IT. It's not an enjoyable experience when trying to play a deck in historic brawl and only receiving loss after loss. Not every deck is super optimal and shouldn't be treated as such.

vamos a ver que me esta pasando un problema ya bastante serio. ultimamente cuando juego partidas en limitado (gastando dinero obviamente), solo me salen tierras de un color... debo decir que en fisico es dificil que pase esto.... pero en magic arena me esta tocando los cojones ya.... de un mazo blanco negro, por ejemplo, que salgan 5 llanuras o robe mas llanuras luego... es que tiene cojones... no se como van los algoritmos, pero tengo la sensacion de que el juego no quiere que gane... para terminar solo decir que me pueden comer los huevos los desarrolladores... he perdido 5 partidas seguidas solo por salirme tierras de 1 color... wizards, me vais a chupar los cojones...

Yes, the match making is completely bugged or purposefully rigged. Has been this way for years and will never be fixed. Shuffler is likely completely bugged as well.

The game is such rigged garbage it's not even funny. I'm done with it. Quick drafts seem especially rigged. And they of course make it so even if you do win, you don't actually win enough gems to make any headway, they give you an extra 200 gems yay. . If you hit 7. Which you do MAYBE every once in a while.
It's a complete sham.
WOC is gross trash. I'm done with this game and want my money back. They can keep their stupid digital mythics.
This isn't MTG. It's a money making machine.

Man I thought I was taking crazy pills.
My “On the Play” is only 38% which means I am playing second turn 62% of the time, almost 2/3 games in best of 1 or best of 3 I’m basically playing at a disadvantage.
In addition, my opening hands only have 3 lands like 20% of the time 2 lands almost 67% OF THE TIME and 4+ lands hardly 13% of the time.
These numbers don’t seem to change NO MATTER HOW MANY LANDS I PUT IN MY DECKS FOR OPENING HANDS.
LIKE WTF. I can play mono red or red/white and go as low as 8 lands to get 2 lands in my open ending hands that’s why so many people are playing aggressive low mana cost decks.
I can’t justify spending anything on this or introducing my friends because the few people I have tried all have these same problems and it’s embarrassing because I HAVE TO SPEND HOURS DOING WORK FOR YOU ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THERE IS SOME EGREGIOUS ABUSE OF TRUST by you guys, Wizards of the Coast.
Obviously there’s something going on with this game wether or not it’s intentional is beyond reconciliation,
I WILL NOT be purchasing any products or supporting their merchandise or events from Wizards of the Coast after this long and disappointing experience going forwards.
After the potential subscription change to DND and now having found that I’m not the only one having these problems I believe that Wizards of the Coast has lost all loyalty to their customers that support their income and products with our hard earned money.

Opponents are obviously different depending on the deck you use, so you can't have an interesting match.
The same thing is happening in both casual and ranked matches.
If this kind of matching is done intentionally, it can be said that it is garbage as an interpersonal game.
Maybe management is garbage.
Is it a fatally unbalanced game or is it a highly discriminatory game that lacks fairness, whether it is differentiated by account etc.
