Matchmaking is completely broken. I'm currently sitting at Bronze 2(2 wins - 9 losses) and being matched against gold and platinum in Premier Draft ONE where i'm getting destroyed left and right. While getting rekt I'm also only ever on the draw even while being forced to play way higher ranking opponents.

Please fix matchmaking, or at least let me have a higher chance of being on the play when i'm playing higher ranked opponents, have an 18% winrate, and having been on the draw for the last 9 games in a row...

About to go 0-3 in draft as a bronze because I matched vs 2 golds and a Platinum. Congats arena, you just lost a customer. Get your sh*t together or watch your app die.

Well, last update bought us indeed a step closer to complete non-sense. A deck which had 55% winrate is now down to 28%. Another, wich had 48% prior to the last update is now down below 20%. And so on. 6 loss in a row, 1 win, 3 losses, 4 losses, and... 1 win. 3 losses... etc. While it was already quite easy to guess before the latest update, I can even predict the course of couple of games in advance now, it's so scripted that it's quite frightening. And talking about wins... I now win usually only to someone who, like me, see what will arrive once the opening hand is set, and concede in the first two turns. I had matches lasting up to 50 minutes, now 3 minutes is a big maximum. Lots of changes within a week. Don't count on me to put a single $ in the online game, it's all going in physical cards, at least, there is still some sport in the IRL game. The online one will definitely never become a major eSport hit, it's to much pay-for-win oriented... It felt quite already the case on the mobile version, while the PC version seemed still decent, but now, MTGA has turned for me into a not even frustrating anymore casual WC game. I'm all with the ones who are feeling the same in this thread. The ones who say "na, you are just loosers, the game is fine and perfectly balanced" are either trolls or pigeons. And both are sad human beings...

I'm writing from my personal experience and reflects my POV only: I wonder how software engineers that work in this company sleep at night? this is what you do with your programming skills? instead of building an app to help humanity, you're building a 100% scripted game by a rigged matchmaker to take advantage of human weaknesses to make them become frustrated enough to spend more money on cards? is that the purpose of your life? I hope Wotc and Hasbro will go bankrupt soon, to whoever is considering playing this game, know that it will just cause you to spend money and have negative feelings constantly as this game is scripted, nothing is random, its sole purpose is to make you spend as much money as possible by any means possible

In matchmaking today, I've faced almost nothing except minion of the mighty and hammer time decks. I've watched my friend play on his own account running almost the same deck and he hasn't seen either decks in over 20 games. Out of the last hour I've played, 90% of the decks I've faced are running these two decks. Either that's all people are playing in the play queue in historic and explorer, or I'm being forced matched against these decks. I'm not running decks which have either of these cards, and if I don't run turn 1/2 answers, I can't get a game which can last beyond turn 3.

I've contacted support and they've assured me 'matchmaking is running as intended'. In that case, their intention is to put midrange/control decks up against jank turn 1-2 mulligan to win on turn 2 combos until the player gets so frustrated, they build decks that just counter this strategy.

Of course, the other explanation that I'm being matchmade against them almost exclusively because of a bug or improper implementation isn't possible according to level 1 support agents, who block my request at first contact.

I'm struggling and annoyed of MTG Arena shuffling mechanism.
It's very frequent case when you got 3 the same cards at starting hand or near.
Also it's very frequent that 3 the same cards are at the same place in the deck.
Even 2 the same cards together shall be not so frequent event.
But 3 !!! it's very strange, especially in the starting hand.

The card shuffling "randomization" is absolute bull. Since the release of Brothers War, no matter how many land i put in a deck i always end up with clumps of land 6 to 8 deep. This is ridiculous, as it doesn't seem to be effecting some people, but its completely ruining the game for others.

I have had to scratch together wins for the past few seasons, to the point where i wont even be able to finish the Mastery, which i paid for. Not because my decks aren't good enough to win, but because i keep getting extreme clumps of land during the "randomization" shuffling.

Please do something to fix this issue. I should not be getting 8 land within the first 12 cards in a deck that only has 20 land. It would be one thing if this happened once or twice, but its constant. I have literally commented to others that the game is punishing me.

I have been playing MTG since the early 90s, and MTGA since it came out and this is truly making it hard to continue playing.

Please fix this issue or you are going to lose a life long player really fast.

In a 61 card deck I drew 11 of 22 lands in the first 16 cards. This doesn't break the laws of probability or anything, but it happens every other ******* game. At this point I don't really care what you do with your algorithm. I'm deleting the app. Thanks for making me hate a game I used to love.

I'm seriously considering closing my account.
The game is unashamedly MANIPULATED.
When the game decides to penalize me, I clearly notice it.
When this happens I happen to play a long series of negative games in which, most of the time, from a situation of extreme advantage the opponent starts drawing cards as if he had the possibility to choose them from the deck!
These situations repeat and repeat themselves sometimes for days!!
In the periods, which are repeated regularly, the game manipulates the games by giving me a clear advantage or by penalizing me brutally.
It is not a question of individual matches but of entire periods that are repeated regularly in a cadenced manner.
The thing that convinced me that matches are manipulated is the incredible regularity with which bad matches are repeated within the period and the incredible regularity with which good periods alternate with bad periods. All extremely schematic to be considered "normal".
I am really exasperated with this situation.
I won't believe the game isn't rigged even if they show me the source code of the software.

PLEASE!!! Update the shuffeling algorithm. It is so annoying that you always draw a multiple of the same card! I can have 120 cards in a deck, but thanks to some kind of „magic“ i draw all 4 copies of the same card within 2-3 turns. And that happens nearly every game.

I drew 7 lands in a row today and that is not the first time. I hate this game ... plain and simple ... it's just not fun. After playing with real cards in a real social setting with real world probabilities it is obvious to me this game is manipulated and is a bait and switch. If only our legal system didn't favor corporations I would almost be curious about class action so people could get some of their money back. Alas none of it matters since you own nothing and as far as hasbro is concerned that is the way things should be. I would STRONGLY advise anyone wanting to make an investment in this extremely poor representation of MTG to be cautious.

You will not get any refund btw. You would have an easier time getting Hitler to apologize to the Jewish people, than having this company actually not blatantly rob people. Paying for a product, which is NOT being delivered and not giving refund, IS theft.

How about you make the card draw actually random... stop messing with the core game function you bafoons.

Match Maker Broken for ONE Premier Draft. I am currently ranked Silver 3, that is 5 levels from beginner Bronze 4, these are my last 6 match pairings for ONE Premier Draft and it's exceptionally unfair: vs 1. Diamond, 2. Diamond, 3. Mythic Ranked 1298, 4. Platinum, 5. Diamond, 6. Mythic...Support just sends me the form message of "the algorhithms and match maker have been tested and work perfectly" but clearly there is a major problem. What is the point of a ranking system if I'm at a beginner level and get paired against experts match after match. There is a problem with the system, and I would like someone with a brain to respond to my messages and fix the issue. I have to quit ONE draft because it's extremely unfair to have to play these matches and would like my draft entries refunded until the issue is resolved.
