Please please PLEASE fix the shuffler. It's ridiculous at this point. I just ran through a stretch where I had six consecutive draws with 2 or fewer lands. In the games I actually attempted to play, I had 5 consecutive games where I opened with 5 straight non-land draws. All with the standard 40% land decks. A stretch like that goes beyond the point of coincidence, it's nearly statistically impossible. You have a 1% chance (literally) of drawing 5 straight non-lands in a 40% land deck. Doing that FIVE TIMES IN a ROW? That's a .00000001% chance. It makes the game literally unplayable. I'm just sitting there drawing non-land after non-land, knowing there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. There are literally thousands of websites on the internet where you can play blackjack, that have all figured out randomized shufflers. Why is it so hard for WOTC? I just want to play the game and *have a chance*

Shuffler is terrible. Please, for the love of the game, fix it.

From my experience: Your game is so obviously manipulated, you should be sued, the matchmaking and shuffler couldn't be farther from random, you use draw/play, mana, and matchmaking to get your customers to spend more money without them knowing they are being manipulated, someone should do something about the practices of your company

In place of an actual RNG system wizards decided to balance win/loss by either flooding a hand with Mana or starving it. It's not clever, it's not subtle and it's gross to watch. This is the reason for the new "did you have fun?" button. Instead of basing your algorithm on acceptable win/loss scenarios a better approach might be to take a hard look at other games that can produce true random number generation and maybe base your algorithm off these premises.

For the umpteenth time I find myself playing a game in which, after having taken a clear advantage (many life points for me and very few for the opponent), the system makes me draw ONLY land cards! While my opponent gets ALL the cards he needs to turn the game around!! And then I find myself playing several other games consecutively where I get VERY FEW land cards. This thing is statistically impossible. The point is not whether it is possible, but whether it is realistic that certain situations occur so frequently respectively their probability!!!!!
The game is TRICK!!! The system manipulates the order in which the cards are drawn to decide the course of the game!!!
I'm really sick of this dishonest situation!! And I'm thinking about closing my account!!!

who the **** gets 10 lands in a row in a crucial moment, i've been playing magic for 15 years and i haven't even seen **** like this until this **** game, i can't always play table tops using your products so i come here but you are making it impossible to have any fun, i don't mind losing but not having a chance to win is absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve paid $20 today and both drafts I used the gems for were unbelievable because of some bug in your program. I construct my decks well and have the appropriate mana and it still gives me terrible opening hands. Most with only 1 color of mana and all of my most expensive spells, and it happens VERY often. The last two drafts have not been fun at all. I think I should be reimbursed for my last draft because of how much I was getting mana flooded and having multiple, unplayable hands. I doubt anyone reading this even cares but for other players you really should fix something in the program.

Is there any hope that you will be offering something for those of us who despise hand smoothing , but dont have the option of playing best of 3? I get wanting new players but alienating the players who have been passionate about the game for over 20 years isnt going to help you. I find hnd smoothing causes more problems then it solves but I have a busy life and dont have time for more then 2-3 games a day . Is there any hope for something that offers something that doesnt involve a huge time commitment or hand smoothiing.

Fix it. No one wants to play a game where they have absolutely no chance of doing anything. We shouldn't have to resort to the sweatiest, try hardest decks just to have simple match where one can have a decent chance to do anything.

After months of playing I've come to the conclusion that it's not true that the sorting algorithm is rigged, simply the deck sorting algorithm DOESN'T EXIST!
The cards drawn are decided by the system from time to time to manipulate the progress of the game!
I've played Magic in a non-digital version and I've never been faced with a situation bordering on statistical impossibility! Situations instead that arise continuously in the online version!

I've been playing paper magic since 1995. The shuffler in this game is so far beyond broken its disrespectful. The devs that created it you would think have never played magic before. Fix the shuffler! It's ridiculous that players should have to deal with this kind of stuff.

2 days in a row with 9+ games in a row matched with decks running blue in the brawl queue.

I hate the developers from wotc bc they couldnt create random with a cheat sheet and step by step directions. Their I.T. Department must be ran by the most inept mentally challenged bag of ******** who just keep saying shuffler works as intended as i have been told thru fkn emails and its all robotic trash. As a high schooler with Trs-80, I could program a fair deck shuffler. The shuffler isn’t broken. It does exactly what WoTC intends it to do. It cheats unless you spend money.

This would be a great app that I would spend money on if WoTC would publish the rules to get the deck to shuffle fairly.

I made a few common/mix of common/uncommon decks with all basic lands. I got constantly paired against decks with playsets of Sheoldreds, Wandering Emperors, Lilianas, green Titans, Portal to Phyrexias and abundance of rare duals-who seemingly have perfect draws and counters.

Also don't mention unfair matchmaking in the Discord - that's where all the shills are.

I feel like every draft I do, I end up having several games where I'm totally mana flooded. Like, I have 20 cards left in my library, but have drawn 11 of 17 lands, or in this last game, had 22 cards left in library, and had seen 10 of 15 lands, including 5 lands in a row. I'd actually cut a land from the deck between matches (Quick Draft) to avoid the mana flood I'd had in the previous game, and ended up losing to flooding again.

I can't ever run a draft deck with more than 16 lands unless I have 5+ draw spells, because if the game goes more than 6 turns, I just stop drawing anything but land half the time. It's super frustrating.

Had a game a week or two ago where I had 15 cards left in library, and had already seen all but 1 land in the deck. Meanwhile, my opponents are drawing gas turn after turn.
