network error - unable to get collection
Can't get in to the main user interface. Can't attach a log when no access to the main menu.
Error displayed: Network error - unable to get collection.
The client asks either to reconnect, log off or check Arena status server (all operational).
Restarted my PC, restarted my internet modem+router. Still same error.
I logged in earlier 6 hours ago, no such problem.

The same trouble for at least last month. I use Ethernet connection to ISP and mobile internet. Sometimes MTGA works via mobile (when doesn't via cable), sometimes it doesn't work via both. Usually it works from morning until afternoon (about 02:00-11:00 UTC) and it doesn't work at evening.

Same here. Germany.
It works via mobile net (Vodaphone), but I can't reach the server via DSL net (1&1 --> Telekom).
Started my router several time, also the switches that are in between router and my PC.
Seems like an interesting issue. Maybe we need a tool that explores issues like this.

After 2 days i could play normal 29/30.12
todays the problem comes back to the Networklogin.Like before, the Login by mobile net on android works. Within normal Network IT does not.

With all due respect, something tells me you're not reading what we've already tried...
I think everyone here has tried the possible solutions without success and ended up here.
With mobile Data we can play, with wlan/lan we can not. Same accounts, same Platform.Spoken for me, I tried everything, really. Different Accounts, Computer, mobile Phones, Ip's, VPN or without etc... Always the same issue. Now I play on my main Pc, with my mobile Phone as hotspot on mobile Data, but that can't be a permanent solution.

@Wizards_MS14#29616 I tested all the advice. none of the advice can fix the existing problem. I have already reported this to support. Support has set up help for this. That's not good customer service and I'm extremely disappointed!

Same Problem, i can't log in ("Network Error. Unable to get your collection"), neither on my mac nor on my iPhone since aprox. the 23th of December. But i can play on my phone if i use mobile data, so definitely not a hardware issue. Very frustrating, as some features like selecting a brawl-commander or companion just don't work on the phone!

I really don’t know why I still expect anything from WotC… reported my issue, got a link to this here. Just lost 7461 hours of progress to this bug and instead of help I got a note „this has been reported before“ and a link. Smh. Dears WotC, do you want to lose your players? Because this is how it happens. With all that milking and such bad news from Hasbro lately I’m concidering quitting mtg and dnd for good

@gojoSon Your Account ist not lost. I have the same Problem in Laptop. On mobile with mobile Connection IT works normal with normal collection.
It IS a Server Problem on MTGA side.Everybody should write Tickets to get fast solution as possible.
My blackscreen is since 24.12.23. -

Since December 23 i cant Play, Network Error, unable to get collection or a black Screen ist all i See.

It's just sad what WotC writes as answers. I am aware that basic errors have to be queried, but if so many users report it is a systematic error. Please urgently work on the quality of the IT service staff and take the reported error seriously. I expect a timely solution!

The first level support is horrible
I work as admin in a mid size sales company (800 persons).
I actually cannot login with my main account (**********@g*****.com)
1. it's loading some time and ends in an black screen.
2. It's loading some time and gives a failure "Collection could not be loaded"
3. on android same problemson the same PC - with my second "testing" account (*******@h*****.com) i can connect and play without problems!
So the Problem is with my main account - please check if there is something not working correctly! The last i made was buying a card sleeve.
I tried on the same computer another login (other account) and it works. If i try my main account - it crashes.I see no Hardware/Software Issues when another account (on same computer) works without Problems!
I see no Internet Connection Issues when another accounts works without Problems (2 Computers, 2 Smartphones)So it's time to give the Problem to Professionals and not to "standard support - copy and paste" mailers!
- my tickets... with standard answers - check hardware... try new driver updates, internet connection blah... so your 1st level support dont read what i tried and wrote!
I think there may be Database Issues or server Issues. something in the account is broken - the last thing i bougt was a card sleeve - 2 hrs later the game did not work again!
I'm playing since the closed beta time. -

I have the same Problem for the last 3 Days. I tried every possible solution, restard my Router, firewall shutdown, to empty dns cache, even a new game download, but still the same error.
Like Kartenaffe#06964 said, I try using my cell phone's mobile data connection, it works. Even as Hotspot for my Windows Pc.

Same. Could play at my parents home properly today in the morning , but now at my home I get the "Uanable to get collection' error again, had same problem on Dec 24th first time. Restartet router, but still same error.

I have the same Problem. I can't connect with my provider connection.It doesn't matter whether I try it with a Windows desktop PC, Apple imac or iPad.
But when I try using my cell phone's mobile data connection, it works. Can someone please help me how to fix the problem?
