Is this legal?
I have no idea what happened. 1st turn my opponent played a llanawar elf, second turn they played Fight Rigging. 3rd turn, insanity happened, im not sure how Lord Xander just appeared on the field. This doesn't seem right to me, a 3rd turn 6 to cast is just wrong.

Lord Xander was the card "hidden away" with Fight Rigging. On their third turn they cast Shakedown Heavy, a 3 cmc 6/4, then when combat started put the +1/+1 counter on it, allowing them to cast Xander from Fight Rigging.

Shakedown Heavy is a 6/4 for 3 mana, played before combat lets Fight Rigging add a +1/+1 counter making it 7 power, and thus allowing the exiled card to be cast for free. Which was Lord Xander.
