How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Connection Wi-Fi

    Subject: Connection Issue on Wi-Fi (Error Updating Data)

    Hello,

    I’m experiencing a connection issue while playing MTG Arena on mobile.

    When I try to launch the game using a Wi-Fi connection, I consistently receive the error message: “Error Updating Data – Please check your connection and try again.” However, when I switch to mobile data (4G/5G), the game works normally without any issues.

    This suggests that the problem may be related to how the game connects through certain Wi-Fi networks.

    Details:

    • Platform: Mobile (Android and IOS)
    • Connection issue: Only on Wi-Fi
    • Mobile data: Works normally
    • Error message: “Error Updating Data”

  2. App does not reorient.

    1) Reproduction
    i) Open app. Hold phone so that the app is the right way up.
    ii) Rotate phone 180° in the plane of the screen so that the app is upside down.
    2) Platform
    Android 16 (Pixel 6) app version: 2026.58.0.5899.1257485
    3) Observed Behavior
    The app remains upside down.
    4) Expected Behavior
    The app flips to the new orientation.
    6) Workaround
    Shut the app down completely and reopen it while holding the phone in the desired orientation.

  3. Daily, etc popup missing

    1) Reproduction
    a) Open the app home screen.
    b) Tap on several of the achievements/dailies/mastery circles one after another, particularly adjacent ones.
    2) Platform
    Android 16 (Pixel 6) app version: 2026.58.0.5899.1257485
    3) Observed Behavior
    Several of the additional info popups will not appear, despite the associated circle darkening and having an arrow over it (when relevant).
    4) Expected Behavior
    Each additional info popup appears at the appropriate time.

    The game does not enter the account and then is starts compiling files and then it just shows this messagge! Whenever I start a match whatever it is!! It Stops the game and gets out of the match.

  6. Undergrowth Counter Wrong on Stolen Cards

    Stealing a Mausoleum Secrets with Outrageous Robbery has the Undergrowth counter on Secrets while it is in exile count the opponent's graveyard instead of your graveyard.

  7. Moment of reckoning UI doesn’t allow to pick two option on ios

    When Casting Moment of Reckoning (at least on iOS, haven’t verified other os) you are presented with the two modes as card faces and 4 +/- clickables to choose from as well as cancel and done buttons .

    Pressing + on the first two adds one mode to the card(which you can always resolve by their matching -) but it’s always the first mode , pressing the other two + or card image for mode two doesn’t do anything. Pressing cancel brings you back to the standard game ui and pressing done cast it with the modes you added.

  8. iOS wildcard visibility & token UI

    Recent update changed background of wildcard screen to gray. The UI visibility is difficult to read.

    Also, it is difficult to read available draft tokens because your thumb covers the touch spot for the draft tokens.

  9. Issue when assigning blockers

    Game doesn't register me pressing on permanents when trying to select blockers but does register me selecting the other areas of the game screen. Playing on mobile app and several times today I have lost games in events I have had to use paid for currency to enter due to this error, it would allow me to select to skip blockers and would allow me to play spells from my hand so I am sure the display was registering my contact, it just seemed to freeze out any attempt to assign blockers.   11. "you haven't acted in a while" message won't let you select creatures through it.

    Accidentally let my laptop battery die, and switched to my Android phone. Loaded back into the match and had a "you have acted in a while and will forfeit the game" message waiting for me to declare blockers. But there was no way to close the message And I couldn't select creatures through the message. So I just had to sit and lose my draft.

  12. "Unable to Login: Exception Occurred"

    Prior to the Strixhaven update, I was receiving an error message when logging in that stated the connection was timing out. However, now the the reason I am not able to login is an exception has occurred. This happens on my Samsung Galaxy S26, my up-to-date Windows 11 laptop PC, and my fiancé's Window's desktop 10 PC. I have tried on my phone over both a mobile network and Wi-Fi; Wi-Fi on my laptop, and my fiancé's LAN. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.   14. Sparky Persists after closing Codex

    I accidentally clicked on the Codex of the multiverse on PC, and now Sparky is just staying on the screen no matter what other screen I go to. The attached picture shows me on the home screen with Sparky awkwardly pulsating there still.

  15. Add option to turn off sound

    Please add a user option to turn off sound completely meaning do not interfere at all with Bluetooth on the device. I often want to play with no sound while listening to something else on Bluetooth. Even if I lower all of the sound options to zero, the game still interferes with Bluetooth.

  16. New set packs are still locked on the unlock date

    The Secrets of Strixhaven I received for pre-release participation say they are available on April 21st, 2026.
    It is currently 9:00PM on the 21st of April NZDT and they are still locked.

  17. Etali, Primal Conqueror visual glitch

    Etali, Primal Conqueror's transform ability is showing as double the cost (18 colorless, one green, one green or 2 life). It still allows you to cast it for the correct cost, so it seems to only be a visual glitch.

    I DON'T WANT TO EVER SEE A AUTOMATIC PROMOTIONAL VIDEO EVER TO START AGAIN AFTER CLICKING ON AN INBOX MESSAGE (IN-GAME). ESPECIALLY, WHEN THOSE VIDEOS (LIKE TODAY 16th Apr.) CANNOT BE ABORTED BY ANY (USER) MEANS:
