How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Guidelight Pathmaker Allows Dune Drifter to Reanimate Anything Without Paying X for Dunedrifter's Mana Cost

    During a Premier Draft my opponent cast a Guidelight Pathmaker and search for a Dune Drifter placing it on the battlefield. They were then able to reanimate a Possession Engine that cost 5 mana, despite the fact that the X value for Dune Drifter was 0. This allowed them to take possession of my Terrian Worldeater, swinging the game. This should not be possible because they did not cast the Dune Drifter to pay an cost.

  2. did not receive mastery pass rewards

    I did not receive mastery pass reward when completing level 39. This has most likely happended previously at least at level 34 as well but I just thought I was imagining.

  3. Bug/Max Speed ability unable to activate at Max Speed

    Bug: During a premier draft match I was unable to activate a max speed ability on Slick Imitator (Copy a spell or permanent) essentially costing me a match. There was just no option to activate. I have screenshots and logs. I will be removing this (essential) card for the rest of the draft.

  4. Mastery Pass won't progress;stuck at level 31

    My mastery pass is frozen at level 31. I completed two daily quests today, and I stopped gaining experience instead of progressing to level 32. I played several more games to get my daily win experience, and the bar is still stuck at 975 experience on level 31.

  5. Arena Cube didn't load after accepting coins, did not get coins back after restarting game

    I loaded into an Arena Cube Draft queue, and all players were ready, the screen timed out to 0:00 and continued buffering until eventually the client froze. I restarted Arena assuming I would be loaded into the queue, however I was not put into the queue and it took my 4,000 coin entry fee.

  6. Cannot resume Premier Draft

    Premier Draft for Aetherdrift shows resume to play. When I click on the event I get a cannot connect to server error.
    I have used both iOS and MAC operating systems to get into premiere draft and get the same network connection error. I have completed all updates on the devices, I have reinstalled on both devices.
    I want to enter the screen allowing me to continue or start a draft.
    I have not found a work around although I want to note customer service has already refunded my gold.

  7. cube draft

    Just playing Traditional Cube Draft today (30/03/2025) and suddenlly was kicked from the game. Trying to log in again to go back to the match and got the Network Error message. Checked my network, it was okay, even with another game. Restarted my network just in case. The message error persisted. Lost 4000 of gold and didn't played single match completly.

  8. Perpetually Available Cube

    Dear Wizards of the Coast,

    If increasing engagement and revenue is a priority, I have a suggestion that benefits both players and WotC.

    I primarily play Cube events on MTG Arena—I don’t engage with Standard or other formats. Since Cube is only available 1-2 weeks per quarter, that’s the only time I play or spend money on Arena. For example, during the February 2025 Cube, I spent the equivalent of $40 in gems. The rest of the quarter? $0 spent. I suspect many others follow a similar pattern.

    It seems Cube is strategically scheduled right before a new set release…

  9. Bristlebud Farmer bug

    During my arena draft game, I was in a very good spot to win the matchup, however I was unable to use the sacrifice food ability of Bristlebud Farmer. The food token is stuck behind the controls making me unable to select it to fulfil the sac requirement.

  10. Opponent conceded, game gave victory, but I was awarded a LOSS!! WTF!!!

  11. Draft win / loss bug after server disconnect

    Similar to many of the comments here, I had a Foundations draft game where the client disconnected and I was sent back to the draft home screen. My record stayed at 2-2 (same as when I started). I then played and won my next game, but it counted as a loss and I got the prizes for 2 wins.

  13. Gastal Thrillseeker

    During the match, my [Gastal Thrillseeker] was stolen by opponent's [Possession Engine]. Because he didn't have max speed, so [Gastal Thrillseeker] didn't have deathtouch. However, after I destroyed his [Possession Engine] and gained control of [Gastal Thrillseeker] again, the creature still didn't have max speed ability although I had max speed at that time. It didn't have deathtouch so I lost the match finally. I think this is absolutely a bug

  14. Playing Aetherdrift Draft (3/23) I played a Mindspring Merfolk and couldn't active the exhaust ability

    I was playing a round of Quick Draft yesterday. I had more than enough blue and green mana to activate Mindspring Merfolk's exhaust ability but was unable to until the next turn. Mindspring merfolk did not highlight. I tried clicking it regardless to see if the highlight was disabled but I still could not active it. I even tried manually tapping mana but no go.

  15. Played 2games had 3 losses

    Started a game, we were in turn 4 or 5, then it said reconnecting, and within a few secs I was in my draft main page with 0 losses. All cool.
    Then i lost 1 match i had a loss. All cool
    Then I lost my second match and my draft said 3 losses... Not cool...
    Please do something as this happened already several times in the past but I wasn't sure of this.

  17. Game crash while entering draft

    Every time I try to enter my draft (which I have l already paid for), my game crashes. It's not an issue connecting with the server because I can play other types of games access the store. This bug has happened to me in the past, but it fixed itself after relaunching arena a few times. This time it hasn't stopped. This has only happened for premier draft for me, not quick draft.

    To reproduce:
    Buy a draft
    Click "Enter Draft"
    Watch as your game becomes unresponsive

  18. Your matchmaking is ********.

    Matchmaking and shuffler in draft is trash. Mirror matches happen FAR TO FREQUENTLY for it to be random! Also, there is rampant hacking and draw fixing in draft, people are drawing perfect answers at a rate that is, again, far too consistent to be random.

  19. Not receiving mastery xp correctly

    2 issues. On arena.

    When I hit my daily rewards today (40 lands played) the reward was supposed to be 750 gold and 500 mastery XP.
    It popped up as 800 gold and 25 XP. But wasn't added either

    Picks as shown. 4 wins. 125 XP. Win a game. 25 XP.... Still 125 XP accumulated

    BUT my mastery XP has not increased in the last 2 days (1000+ XP) whether it's the daily or from wins

    So I'm behind at least 1 full mastery level

  20. Mastery is not progressing

    Mastery is not progressing.

    Please check the two attached PNG files.

    Number of wins has increased from 4 to 5.
    But Exp is not increase. 950 to 950.
