How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

  1. Bug Report – "Angel of the Dread Hour" (French Version) Exiles Attacking Creatures, Not Artifacts

    Hello Wizards Support Team,

    I would like to report an issue with the French version of the card Angel of the Dread Hour in Magic Arena.

    In the French translation, the card text says:

    "Quand cette créature arrive sur le champ de bataille, si vous l'avez lancée depuis votre main, exilez tous les artefacts."
("When this creature enters the battlefield, if you cast it from your hand, exile all artifacts.")

    However, in-game, the actual effect exiles all attacking creatures, not artifacts. This behavior directly contradicts the French card text and can cause confusion during gameplay.

  8. Fast land text in Japanese

    MTGアリーナ上のファストランドのテキストのタップインの条件に「2つ以下のこれでない土地をコントロールしていないかぎり」と書かれています。日本語として一見文法上成立しているように見えますが、3重否定で難解あり、普通に読む限り意味不明です。なお、サンダージャンクションの無法者の紙版のカードはカラデシュと同じ「これでない３つ以上の土地をコントロールしているなら」なので翻訳テキストが更新されたわけではないようです。また、そもそも3枚目まではアンタップインで4枚目からタップインなので境界となるこれでない土地の数は3枚以上または以下のはずでありテキスト自体間違っているように見えます。修正をお願い致します。

    On MTG Arena, the tap-in condition text for fast lands is currently written as:

    「2つ以下のこれでない土地をコントロールしていないかぎり」

    While this text might appear grammatically acceptable in Japanese at first glance, the triple-negative phrasing makes it overly complex and practically unintelligible under normal reading circumstances. Furthermore, the printed version of "Outlaws of Thunder Junction" maintains the same clear wording introduced originally in Kaladesh:

    「これでない３つ以上の土地をコントロールしているなら」

    This suggests the current confusing wording on MTG Arena was not intentionally updated from the original translation. Additionally, considering that fast lands should enter untapped when you control up to three other lands and enter tapped starting from the…

  10. No words in settings menu

    The issue I am having is there are no fonts in the settings tab ( no words visible). I have been using Arena since its BETA stage and have use a compatible device and have not had this issue in the past.

    So here are the steps I did today:
    1. Uninstalled Arena
    2. Completely rebooted device (android 12+)
    3. installed Arena

    Result is still the same. No fonts in settings (see new photos attached) I need this issue fixed.

  12. "This creature" and "that creature" are translated the same way in french

    Both terms are translated in french as "this creature", which is confusing. A better translation would be "cette créature-ci" and "cette créature-là", for instance. For some cards we don't know anymore if the trigger concerns the card bearing the text or the other one.

  13. Inconsistent use of parenthesized rubies for land types under Japanese locale

    On the right of the Deck Details screen is a table showing statistics of the deck per types and subtypes. If you are playing under Japanese locale, some land types are presented with parenthesize rubies while some others are without. In particular 平地 (plains) and 山 (mountain) have parenthesized rubies.

    Although this inconsistency is less maleficent, I consider it is a bug, because:

    • I find no reason to present the particular two land types, plains and mountain, in a different way than others.
    • I have never seen on Jaspanese paper Magic cards or other authentic Japanese source that a land…

  14. optimistic Scavenger/Optimistische Plünderin translate error

    in German it says “Immer wenn eine Verzauberung unter deiner Kontrolle ins Spiel kommt UND wenn du einen Raum vollständig entsperrst..." and would translate to "whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control AND you fully unlock a room..’. So both would have to happen to trigger the effect. Either replace the AND with OR or just translate the exact same wording as in English and write “WANN IMMER eine Verzauberung unter deiner Kontrolle ins Spiel kommt UND WANN IMMER du einen Raum vollständig entsperrst...” So just as the English version uses “whenever” twice, the German version also uses…

  15. Japanese version of Chandra, Torch of Defiance shows two wong abilities

    Japanese version of Chandra, Torch of Defiance's first and fourth abilities are wrong.

    • The last sentence of the first ability currently reads "そうしないなら、これは各対戦相手にそれぞれＸ点のダメージを与える。", which means "If you don't, Chandra deals X damage to each opponent.", although it should be "... deals 2 damage ..."

    • The ability of the emblem given by Chandra's fourth ability currently reads "クリーチャー１体かプレインズウォーカー１体かプレイヤー１人を対象とする。この紋章はそれに５点のダメージを与える。", which means "Whenever you cast a spell, this emblem deals 5 damage to target creature, plainswalker, or player.", although it should be "... any target." (Note that, if the rules text says "any target", its controller may choose…

  16. Wrong Japanese translation of the keyword ability "unearth" given by Highway Reaver

    Highway Reaver's "Whenever this creature enters or attacks" ability gives an unearth keyword ability to a card (under certain conditions). If you play under the Japanese locale and focus the card that gained unearth that way, the unearth keyword is translated to "発（はっ）掘（くつ）" (the Japanese name of the card Unearth) rather than "蘇生" (the Japanese name of the keyword ability unearth) in its text box.

    (The cause of this bug is apparent; the translator should have misunderstood that this particular word "Unearth" is a card name rather than a keyword ability... 😥)

    Tem um erro no texto da carta massacre II. A segunda parte do texto relata o seguinte: Toda vez que uma criatura do oponente morrer, você pode pagar 3 pontos de vida, (se não fizer isso) voce pode colocar a criatura no seu campo de batalha.   20. The text box on the Japanese Hidden Courtyard contains an incomplete reminder text

    Steps to reproduce the bug

    1. Run MTG Arena under the Jaspanese Locale (Adjust Options > Graphics > Locale > 日本語 (Japanese). You may need to exit and restart the game for the change to take effect.)
    2. Find the card 隠された中庭 (Hidden Courtyard) in your collection (デッキ (Decks) > コレクション (Collection)) by typing "された中" in the search box and hitting the ENTER key (after checking "Not Collected" option in the Advanced Filters if you don't have it).
    3. Hover your mouse cursor over Hidden Courtyard to show the text box larger.
