Black screen on match start
While in the menu everything is ok but when match start the screen become black but the sound still ok (if i move the cursor i can ear the sound of card mulligan).
The only whay to not concede is to set the resolution on the lowest, but usually cause visual bug on the board or/and artwork on the card disappear.
Please fix this issue, i'm loving this game

Having very similar issue.
I have submitted a bug report through the client and had zero response from anyone, this was at least 2 months ago.
It seems as though there is just no will to help.
Seriously Wizard's of the Coast, at least respond on this thread as though you have read at least 1 comment.
People are only looking to know that their problems are being acknowledged.
Look how hard everyone has worked to compile information on the nature of their problem, the least you could do is admit that the client/game needs work. -

Reporting the same issue. Just spent over $100 on the game yesterday after returning from a long break from the game, and I cannot play one match without the game freezing / crashing in the first 10 seconds of the match (often before the match has even moved past the "X vs X" screen).
Lost two draft matches as a result before I used bot games for testing. Several hours of mucking around later, I'm convinced there's no "client side" fix.
As far as I can tell, there's two separate errors that are spat out into windows event viewer. Both are attached.
The copy paste response from support a little further down is beyond insulting. Fix your damn game Wizards, or at least acknowledge the issue.
Lastly, it should be noted, I've played this game since it's alpha release without issues ever. Somewhere in the last 6 months (give or take) that I've taken a break, something has gone drastically wrong.

I can't play more than 2 matches without having the client CRASHING. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Both Epic and standalone client. What the heck? I regret buying the pre-purchase bundles and will see if I can get a refund if this doesn't get fixed soon.
Come on Wizards, do a better QA job! People pay for your service and products! No other game has given me so many issues, even your MODO client runs a better, stable version. I hope that you guys don't give a generic bot response to the ticket I submitted earlier... I've lost multiple matches because of the constant crashes, completely unacceptable.

I played through my Samsung galaxy tab s streaming through NVIDIA's streaming service and it lagged bad. I didn't think my internet would handle it since I can only use a hot spot but i pulled my old ****** laptop out and turned hot spot on my tab s and it ran fine. I upgraded to the Samsung book s at the time this pos update came out and couldn't understand why the tab s could handle the connection fine and it could also handle the insanely intense graphics for a card game fine... But an upgraded version of the same hardware and it keeps crashing. I can play 7 games in a row with no problem or I can turn my computer on and start disconnecting from the first game... I will try running in windows mode like someone had recommended.
If anyone from wizards reads/cares enough do you guys realize how frustrating this is when the majority of us are spending money not just on your online products but to go play and we get ranked and tournament loss's for stupid disconnects meanwhile you can't even install a simple easy to access/use report player feature so we also get to sit there and wait while the children throw temper tantrums when they start loosing.

Ever since the last update, both my wife and myself can't seem to complete a single match without it freezing and popping up with a technical error. We've verified our connections and they work fine.

Guys a temporary work around you might want to try is running the game in windowed mode. It stoped the crashes for me. Hopefully it's also gonna help some of you until they fix this.

Everyone should be really careful with downloading random .dll files (as in don't do it, only use official installers from trusted companies).
The black screen on start up does actually go away after a time (30secs - 1 minute) and you get into the game properly.
Maybe Arena's servers are overloaded or the path to them is congested which is causing the client to hang on loading while it waits.

The game crashes each match. This is not a problem on our side.

Still unable to get to the mastery page to view or use any rewards I've earned, hopefully that gets fixed before it's too late to use them. Definitely won't be spending any more money on this game, and will be uninstalling it if my rewards are wasted. Fix this garbage. My PC isn't great, but THE GAME USED TO WORK FINE. Clearly you have bloated the **** out of it, and it's a dang card game. FIX IT.

The game crashes every time I try to redeem orbs. Sometimes, it crashes when I go into the store. Sometimes it crashes when I go on the mastery page.
Game crashes during most games I play. I have to close out the program and race back into the match. Sometimes, if the game crashed in the middle of something (a spell resolving, searching through my library) that will time out and I'll be negatively impacted.
Just did an uninstall/install last night. Went into the mastery orb system, tried to redeem orbs, boom, instant Unity crash.
Also, sometimes when I do crash and have to log back in, it gets stuck in the "checking for updates" loop, still.

Hello,
It sounds like YOU may need some more troubleshooting advice, please hire programmers and QA people that can create a game that doesn't constantly crash.
Also, If the game crashes because of animations, just cut them, I wan't to play with magic cards, I don't need woosshh pffffrrrrrr POW GRRRR boooooom to play and have fun.

Aren't they making money from this game?
It's illogical to make people quit by not fixing the bug.

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting frustrated over these crashes. Total agree with previous comments about being compensated or something for a game I loved playing back in may. And now I don't know why I bother.
