To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Visual Bug: Card Scroll View Keeps Scroll Offset
How to reproduce:
1. Open Companion App
2. Click “Cards”
3. Search for any card. In my case, I searched for “blood”.
3. Click on any card.
4. Scroll down so that there is some scroll offset.
5. Swipe left to the next card, no offset.
6. Swipe left again to the next card, offset.Possible solution:
When loading the detail view for the card, scroll to the top of the scroll view programmatically each time.1 vote -
TO app refuses to allow players in different pods to get paired up
Playing in an event (draft) with 12 players. Two pods with 6 each for draft seating purposes, all well and good. But the players were told by the TO that the pods would amalgamate to allow anyone to play anyone. That didn't happen, and at least two players got paired down with opponents who had 6 less points. In the fourth round, I got paired with someone who I had already played and defeated 2 rounds ago. 6 points less than me, again.

Pairings
Pairings for 11 person draft refused to move out of the separate pods
Pairings were doubled up ie players played players they already played.
Pairing were unfair 2/0 playing 0/2 etcFix your programs
This kind of thing ruins limited events
New players are unlikely to come back to lgs if feeling like they have the Pairings be beating them down prior to matches1 vote -
Unable to add players to event
The event will only populate one name into the lobby.

Drafts with 9+ players have 3 rounds instead of 4
Hello!
When I set a draft with 9 players or more, the app won't add a 4th round.
I believe 3-rounds tournaments are only for 8 players or less ?3 votes -
Sort by release date
As the title says, I’d love to be able to sort cards by release date. It would help a lot in identifying new cards for commander decks for example.

Host ending event early
How is it okay for an event organizer to end events early without asking anyone? Our store The Wizards Chest in Denver CO decided to end after 3 rounds and offered no reason. This effected my ranking and my prize, they offered nothing in return

Please show the both the regular and transformed version of a card when you click on it

Card Database Text out of Date
The card database feature of the Companion app Oracle feature does not work. Rather than displaying the up to date Oracle text of the card, it displays the most recent printed text. As many cards have had errata to update their Oracle text that have not yet had printings with the new text, this makes the feature almost entirely useless. This is made more egregious by the fact that the Gatherer website on mobile advises that Gatherer works better in the Companion app, which is factually untrue.

Card name autofill
A helpful feature when looking up cards would be autofill. If you're unsure how to spell a card name, it would be very helpful to have an auto-fill feature.

Penalty and time tracking on the floor
It would be great as a judge to enter the extra time or the penaltys via app - in walter we had our paperslips on the table - now we cary another paper with us and another judge could only know of penalty or extratime via asking the players or using things like purple fox

Double elimination tournament option
Saw the single elimination option already on the app, but sometimes my group plays double elimination tournaments. Could this be an option in the future?

settings
please offer any kind of settings to "slim down" the app for older phones, it keeps crashing and lagging and not displaying things fully (only halfway slides in) and requires to be restarted for just about any match. I'd even take just white font on black color if only it would properly work then.

Third color Option wont Show up in German
In advanced search the third Option for Color filtering isnt readable.

App Features Suggestions
Would love to see definitions of actions/keywords, kind of like a library. Pun intended.
Also, would be great if we had a day/night counter! As I use other deck types, I'll update this list; don't you worry. ;)

Oracle text mistake
I’ve seen cards where the Oracle text in the app is different from the Oracle in Gatherer. Most recently Tsabo Tovac.
In the app, it’s only a horror for the sub-type. In Gatherer, it’s a Phyrexian Horror.7 votes -
Round timer disappearing
Android user here. Attempting to host and play.
When beginning a new event with the round timer enabled the timer appears in the event pairings area as normal.
Affter entering the life tracker or another screen and returning to the event Page to report the round timer disappears and no way to get it back without starting a new event.
Attempted to proceed to next round, timer does not reappear either.2 votes
