To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.



Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

  1. Tiebreakers

    I am 2-1 alongside another person, we have identical first row tiebreakers, second one GW i am 20 better, yet I am below him in the standings. Explain.

  2. Random target/number generator

    Companion needs a random target selection generator function which allows you to input the number of possible targets as well as number of random target results you need. Chef's Kiss is a really interesting new card with so many possibilities I believe it is intimidating and that is why I do not see people trying to play with it. However, if players had a built in function within companion that could handle this card and other random effect cards, i believe this would open increase play with these types of cards and reduce stress, game delay, and errors associated with…

  3. iOS Companion App crashes when trying to start draft event

    I was TO’ing a draft event today and tried to run two pods with the app. After starting the app and trying to continue past the seating arrangements, it will just crash. I had to think fast on my feet and found an online app I was able to use instead.

    That was a little unnerving as I was trying to deal with a good number of people and had to keep the event going.

  4. Event Result Screen

    After the event is over please can we have a way to download the “Event Results” screen to include all the metrics so rank, name, points, WLD, OMW%, GW% & OGW% etc… at the moment I can not even capture a screen shot using my mobile device because if I move to landscape position holding my mobile device the app doesn’t seem to support this so I can not take a screenshot of the complete table as in portrait position the full list of metrics are not visible. Thank you very much.

  5. Need ability to manually repair

    Manually pairing players to fix an oopsie in recording a result or an error in the software is more frequent and important than it is being given.
    Just because some TOs use it improperly is not justification to remove that functionality from people who use it correctly.
    Repairing an entire round because of 1-2 messups is exceptionally disruptive, and a negative player experience that is being created by this lack of functionality.

  8. NEW OLD IDEA

    Would like to track our Wins, loses, and draws.

    Real simlple add on to the app.

    Billy can have a look at his over all Wins, loses, and draws any time on the app.

    He can get a statistical weight of rate against other players. Ie Billy is a 900 point player vs a player who is 1200. His rate will go up if he wins by alot and if he loses it goes down only a bit vs the other player would have the reverse happen to them.

  11. Make app functional

    Every prerelease tournament I play in the app doesn’t show pairings and doesn’t let you back in the event from the Home Screen. It says it’s experiencing issues and you can’t report round results. If we are forced to use this app for organized play, can you just make it function for its purpose

  12. Record Win/loss records and have some kind of ranking system for players and decks

    Have a ranking system for players in each way of playing . Historic,Modern, ect.
    Also have rewards for the top 100 players with the higher the rank the more rewards . Also i would like to see the Win/Loss of decks. Even if you change one thing in a deck then the win/loss record will reset. Also have it track everyone using that deck . I understand some players dont want others to see there decks so it would have to be a option that the player would have to agree with. But most definitely track the winning percentage of…

  14. Stop sending marketing notifications

    What if the companion did not send spammy notifications when you have the setting turned off?

    What if the setting itself had any indicator as to whether or was enabled or not?

    I use the app to find my assigned table for Monday night weeklies I do not need or want extraneous notifications at 3pm on a Thursday.

    companion should let you build deck list from the search function
    they can be saved locally to preserve server space, maybe each user gets an amount of cloud saved lists
    cards should be saveable to different designations e.g. in deck, sideboard, maybes, commander, etc.
    potentially appraise/order the deck at stores partnered via companion

  18. Landscape support for tracker

    It would be great if the tracker would support a landscape mode (life displayed vertically side by side on horizontal axis).

    This would allow using it on propped up phone or tablet for much better visibility and access.

    Currently companion tracker is mostly unusable for me and I'm left to resort to using third party life trackers.

  19. Cant log into companion app - email reset broken

    Account details input are definitely correct, as I'm able to log into Arena and the Wzards site. But the app does not recognise them.
    Additionally the password reset function is throwing an error (see screenshot)
