2. Draws due to e.g. server issues should not affect ELO (or whatever rating system is used behind the scenes)

   I was attempting to play a ranked historic match and after waiting a while (~ 1 minute, I was doing something else while waiting so I don't know the exact time), matchmaking ended, I was paired against another player, and the match immediately ended in a draw.

   However, when loading the next match I noticed that my Mythic ranking had dropped by over 20 places. As the player I was paired with had a lower ranking, the most logical explanation for the discrepancy is that the server-induced draw had affected the ratings of the players involved in the match the same way that a drawn game caused by user actions would have been rated.

   Ending the game prior to any user input is a fine response when some error in either the server, a client, or network prevents an assigned match from starting properly. However, games that are ended in such a manner ought to be treated as though no game was played rather than as a draw for rating purposes.

   If it helps investigate, I've attached the log file from my play this morning. The drawn game should be the second-to-last one played.

   Maybe their should be a card, or play set of cards, with the following effect:

   The Painter
   Legendary Creature—Human Artificer

   "When this card enters or leaves the battlefield, choose up to three players. For each player chosen, give them one of the following paint counters; White, Blue, Black, Red, or Green.

   This creatures toughness equals twice the amount of "Experience Counters" that you have plus 1.

   This creature's Power equals the amount of "Paint Counters" you have.

4. Lithoform Engine card sleeve in game looks ...rather unpleasent..

   I really like the look and animation of the Lithoform Engine card sleeves in the menu. Nice minimalistic lightning-animations. That's what I wanted to spend my gems on.
   In game it's rather annoying to look at.
   The animations are clunky, they have big fat white gradient-lines to those flying segments.
   And these segments don't even line up with the underlying drawing.
   And when you trigger it multiple times, it looks even worse (cause it's not minimalistic enough, I'd say)..

   Is there any chance to have these annoyances to be fixed?

7. keep Bo3 cube draft up longer

   Once again I am sitting here excited to spend my gold and gems playing a fun format on Arena but I cannot do so because of an arbitrary decision to end Bo3 Draft earlier than Bo1 for the same format. Why do this? If the reason is queue times being long...who cares? I'd rather wait in queue for 20 mins to play a game I want to play rather than not have the option to play it at all.

   You are taking away a game mode from people who want it. I want to play Bo3 cube. If my only option is to play Bo1, I'm just not going to play cube at all. I was excited to play a lot of Arena this week with my time off, but all I wanted to play was Bo3 cube. Now, I am going to have to find other games to play this week besides MTGA, since MTGA has once again said to me (as someone who wants to play Bo3) "we don't want your gold/gems/time/money"

   I am grateful you added Bo3 Cube (and Kaledesh). But why make it shorter than Bo1? Just make them up for the same amount of time! It is so frustrating to keep having this happen over and over again.

   Between cube and Kaledesh this is so frustrating and seems like an own goal. I would have easily spent another 6k gems (at least) on Kaledesh Bo3 draft if it had stayed up as long as Bo1 Kaledesh. Instead, I spent that time playing other games and only playing a small amount of MTGA. Now here we are again, repeating that story.

   I don't think it is likely I will ever put more money into this game if this pattern continues. Bo3 is what I love. Bo3 is worth money to me. Bo1 is not.

9. Basic Social Functions

   Hey everyone! Long time Magic fan here - I think a HUGE weakness of Arena is that there are almost NO ways for me to onboard other people into the game or to maintain interest among friends. One of the reasons this game still exists in general is the social component of playing in paper which allows players to keep each other interested (and invested) in the game.

   Here are some basic social functions that would give us ways to interact with friends and therefore maintain broader interest in the long term:

   • Friend people you meet
     This is a basic way to let people start building that social component which can keep them coming back; why can't we make friends IN the game? Sometimes you play someone who is fun or you liked their play, why can't you choose to connect with them in any way? This makes the game feel empty and lonely.

   • "Well played" / "Nice deck", other more expressive emotes
     It's insane that there's no way to commiserate with someone if they are having a rough draw. There's nothing you can really signal. If someone has a great deck you haven't seen, or makes a great play, why can't you complement them on it? It's so basic and I frequently wish I could have just this little extra bit of communication.

   • Private player lobbies
     Why is the only functionality for private games a single 1v1 match that's not even observable? The fan made website to play Netrunner (a card game with a much smaller community) lets you make lobbies and have people join as spectators. There is no way to interact with a group of friends on Arena, not at all.

   • Spectator Mode
     No brainer, and even beyond the social aspect of being able to involve more than one friend, this is just basic for the esports scene. It looks very unpolished to have at the official esports events a janky screenshare of the individual players (sometimes with issues too).

   • Pod draft / sealed?
     This is huge! You could sell so many more packs if people could play limited formats in a social way (with friends). This would be such an easy way to get friends into the game / maintain hype over the course of a year. You underestimate how many non magic regulars would pay to draft once just for a fun game night.

   • 2v2 / Two headed giant, etc.
     Again, any way you can add to the game for players like me to involve more than one friend would be amazing.

   There's much more social functionality to desire from Arena, the important thing to remember is that this has a very real long term impact on the community of a game. I want to get friends involved and experience the game with them, but I right now I can't do pretty much anything to that effect.

    Similar to Xbox, World of Warcraft, and others, having the ability to purchase in game credit at stores/online makes for an easy gift and more profit for Wizards.

12. Need a more visible reminder for Events that are about to end

    As stated in the title. When there are multiple events active, some of them get pushed off the featured list on the front page. I had an active Kaladesh draft going (was at 6-1 I think) but kind of forgot about it because of the Cube and FNM stuff going on and was surprised to see that KLD had ended. There should be a more visible reminder that events you are participating in are about to end. This didn't 'hurt' me too much this time because I had already played out most of that draft, but I can imagine there would be some people who had just drafted a deck and didn't get to play it out to at least try to recoup their entry.

13. Bonecrusher Giant Bug

    The game freaks out when I play a bonecrusher giant onto the battlefield. All interactions break. Edgewall Innkeeper will not draw cards and you can't use bonecrusher giant to block. The game just fails to recognize it.

    the ability to set up deck combo conditions to se how cards will combo off each other with out having to play a full test game till the conditions come up and see if it will play correctly as you would wish before making a fool out of your self on the battlefield with a bad combo or a un registered one in the system

15. Cube Draft Idea

    I am excited to see that cube draft is back on Arena, but I do feel that you guys may be missing an opportunity to make the game more enjoyable to your target audience. Keeping the draft format phantom is perfectly fine, but it would be nice to see the entry fee to be lowered. I understand you do not want to make the draft a way for people to “farm gold,” but you can lowerinf the buy-in to $500 would be nice. Then you can adjust the prize payout as followed: 750, 650, 500, 400, 300, 200, 100, and 0. Players would have the opportunity to enjoy the drafting format, but it would not provide them with an advantage over other players as their only payout is gold. You could maybe throw in a random common/uncommon at 6 wins and a random rare/mythic at 7 wins to add a little bit more, but this type of prize payout would not allow for rapid collection building. Setting up a rotation of the cube draft would be a cool idea as well. A different theme every couple of weeks to a month could help break up the monotony of the game. I just wanted to at least provide some feedback as this could help bring a new twist to the game.

16. How about an Option to allow your dec

    The idea is simple. Provide a option to allow your deck to be viewed by someone you beat. For that match only and not sideboard (unless it was accessed in the match.) In exchange the "mentor program participant"get bonus gems or cosmetic points or an advancement on Their wildcard wheels.

    Matchmaking in Arena is unbalanced and unfair and most of all unfun. Constant mirror matches suck! Constantly playing against the same decks regardless of opponent sucks! please do true natural random matchmaking. skill based and deck strength matchmaking sucks and isn't fun.

19. Ikoria Quick Draft Bug

    I'm playing on PC. When trying to build a deck for the Ikoria Quick Draft event on MTG Arena, I completed my draft and when finalising my deck the game crashed. Upon reloading I was given a message telling me it was an asset error. I tried again, but as soon as I hit Build Your Deck it crashed again, same as before.

20. Un-ban Uro

    Ban Genesis Ultimatum and The Great Henge.
    Un-ban Uro.

    Gruul and Dimir Rogues are toxic to play against.

    Uro was only banned because of Omnath. Uro and Genesis Ultimatum really shouldn't be legal at the same time because it makes it too easy to ramp to Genesis and mana-cheat your whole deck out. It's already too easy to do this as it is.

    With Gruul being able to play Embercleave or The Great Henge by turn four, along with so many excellent cheap creatures (Edgewall Inkeeper, Brushfire Elemental, Kazandu Mammoth, Questing Beast, Bonecrusher Giant, Lovestruck Beast) makes every threat a must-answer the same turn. Keeping Embercleave in keeps this deck fair but still solidly T1.

    Dimir Rougues doesn't need any cards banned, but they should have to worry about main-decking answers to something in the format. Every other deck has to think of including answers to Dimir Rogues in their main-deck so it seems reasonable that Dimir Rogues should have to do the same.

    Uro is a powerful card, but not moreso than the other top-tier cards currently legal in standard. There are plenty of answers to it in every color. Having it legal would allow more decks to be competitive while toning down the power of some of the other top-tier decks.
