1. non-existent game

   hi, i won a match on history bo3, by 2-1, i was 1 win to diamond, after i won the last game, my client got stuck in the 'victory', didnt show the rank goin up and didnt let me leave the screen, i had to restart the client, and guess what? when i came back i was still w the same rank, its like the match had never existed, the client was loading the w8ting for server right b4 i started the match, also when i tried to join the qeue b4 that game, i got the w8 for server in the qeue, and got kickd out of the qeue.... i just got the same fcking bug today, wtf i alrdy lost 2 wins, but my defeats this fckin server counts

2. Auto Loss/Thassa's Orcacle

   While playing a Historic Ranked match i scaked a woe stride and its goat token with a priest of the forgotton gods, once the opponent played thassa's oracle i sacked in responsed to its trigger and then once its trigger resolved i lost the game for some reason.

4. Game stuck until opponent's timer counts up and result not recorded after reboot

   Game 2 of a Traditional Historic match. My opponent cast Magma Opus, targeting 4 of my creatures, but priority never passed and the spell never resolved. I was stuck there as my opponent's timer was counting down from 20+ minutes. My opponent was never kicked for inactivity, and after their timer hit zero, it started counting up. I couldn't bring up the menu to concede. I closed the client using Alt+F4, and when I logged back in, it was like the match never happened. Even though I attacked with creatures and won the first game of the match, my quest didn't advance, I didn't get rewards for Daily/Weekly wins, and my constructed rank didn't go up or down. That was a significant loss of time.

5. Private Tournaments for online communities

   I'm a part of a couple of mid-sized to large online communities. It'd be great if we could host our own MTG Arena tournaments with our members. Have a special tournament code, and I'm sure it can have the same gem/money requirements for joining, but now with people we know. It would especially help attract new players to the game and enjoy the game more deeply, especially those who are not ready to compete at the level that your open tournaments require. Heck, I'm sure a lot of nerd-based entities would love to run a tournament for their fans.

6. stop using CPU and GPU when minimized

   When I'm running Arena, it uses a full core and 95% of the GPU on my Surface 7 computer. This seems reasonable for the experience I get. But when I minimize the app, it still uses a full core and 70-75% of my GPU. I'd love to be able t minimize the app between games to tell Arena that I don't want it force my computer to heat up and run the fan all the time. Instead, I have to leave the app to achieve this. Please don't run your event/render loops flat out when there's nothing to see.

8. Bug Report

   Playing on a PC, I was in a match and I put Ingenious Mastery on the stack. I selected autopay, and then the application gave me no next steps. I watched as my timeouts burned. I confirmed I still had internet on my computer. I tried force closing Arena and logging back in, but by the time I did that I had lost the match.

9. Cards

   Magic used to be about strategy and intelligence. The understanding of how cards interact with each other. It used to be a game where anyone could win and all it took was out thinking your opponent, like chess for cards.

   I’ve been playing this game since the beginning. And I’ve never been so disappointed in you for the new cards that are released. I used to be able to use protection from a color instants to counteract cards like “Doomskar” and other board wipes... gone...no more. It used to be that anyone could put a deck together of commons, uncommons, and maybe a rare or 2 and win against any deck. Worst of all it used to be that you could be original and build a fairly unique deck and be extremely competitive.

   Not any longer.

   There are at least 6 different cards that if your opponent has them in their deck and you don’t, good luck winning. You WILL lose 90% of the games all because you don’t have enough $ to buy those certain cards. On top of that I shouldn’t have to use the same cards as the next player in my deck to win. THAT IS NOT STRATEGY. The cards released are ever increasingly overpowered, well some of them are. I don’t know the names of all the cards of importance I’m talking about, business it shouldn’t matter. I’m guessing you already know which ones. No one should have to build their deck and be forced into using specific cards just to be competitive. That whole idea undermines the spirit of this game that I love so much. I play this game A LOT online and off against an ever growing variety of opponents and I can count the amount of different decks on one hand it seems. I don’t mean different by a card or two, but different in behavior. Plus it’s SICKENING to play hundreds of different people and see more than 90% building their decks around the same few cards. Cosmic Elixir(I think), an artifact planeswalker, the legendary artifact that prevents dmg(probably the least of my worries in this case), and a few more I can’t think of at the moment. You have COMPLETELY ruined the balance and strategy of this game.

   If you’re going to keep this up then I think that cards like “black creature killers” should all be permanent killers for the same price. Not just black ones, but you get the idea. There are a couple but NONE are strictly black and only one or 2 destroy any no land perm. It’s funny you keep banning cards but very rarely ban the actual cards that upset the balance. Online on Arena, I’ve been playing there for 2+ years and most of the banned cards I very rarely ran into before or after the ban, yet all the ones that literally upset the game are still in. Just because they’re popular doesn’t mean they aren’t overpowering. Just because a card CAN be dealt with doesn’t mean it’s not overpowered. Finally just because I can’t afford to go out and buy EVERY Mythic Rare doesn’t mean I should lose 90% of my games. It’s not a new problem, but has gotten worse since 2021 core set. Before 2021 core this problem still existed, but I could easily put together a deck of mostly common and uncommon with maybe 2 sets of 4 rares and win more than 75% of the time.

   I may not have explained it well, but it’s definitely a problem. It’s a problem when 90%+ use the same few cards because it’s basically forced just to be good. It’s a problem that those who don’t can’t be competitive. It’s a problem when strategy and deck building have been pretty much completely taken out and replaced with a few mythic rares/OP cards. It’s a problem when someone who has played this game for 25yrs or so feels like they’re being forced into certain cards when it has never really been like that before. The worst part is because I don’t give you all my money you probably won’t even read this, and if by chance you do nothing will be done.

   Variety is the spice of life and used to be what this game was all about. It’s been ruined by a few cards, the most popular cards.

10. The PLAY TAB and PLAY MODE UI need to be completely rehauled.

    Hello, I just actually missed a Strix Quick Draft because of how terrible this current UI is that we have suffered with for over two years now. It's barely even changed. It's like nobody is home on the UI team. We don't get any better options for viewing cards at larger sizes, we get a few enhancements for deck builder, and almost nothing else.

    You guys are going with this absolutely daft three event tab and then an advanced tab that does almost nothing else. It's shocking that this is our UI still. I give you guys all the benefit of the doubt here. We know the team is fairly talented, so why are we still using a beta interface for our play modes and events?

    How can it be possible to MISS A DRAFT ON BOOT UP OF THE MAIN SCREEN!?

    Because your main screen is completely useless, and it's filled with events that don't even concern us half the time. You have no room, the vertical PLAY tab is an amateur hack job that is both confusing and SUPER SMALL lol.

    Why would it not be possible to at least get a full screen grid of what is going on for both game modes and play modes?

    Come on dev team. You guys are way more talented than this. Redo the UI to this game. At least do something to it to make navigating our current events a lot more informative.

11. New version on App Store doesn’t exist

    Please be aware of your notices regarding updated mobile clients.
    You lock the app way before the app is available on the App Store.
    Note that publishing the app doesn’t make it immediately available to everyone as it can take Apple a few hours to propagate the mobile client.

    This annoyingly keeps players out of your app for an update that doesn’t exist...

    You should delay your message to at least a few hours after launch on the App Store.

12. Maul of the Skyclaves

    Seriously, WTF are you thinking when you assign "Legendary" status to one card & not another? Is it just random? I fail to see why I can only have one Shadowspear in play because it's Legendary yet Maul of the Skyclaves is not, despite its generally greater puissance. Look at them side by side & tell me which one is more likely to be a game-changer if there's more than one in play on a side? If Shadowspear was self-attaching like the Maul, I could see it, or is it just because the Maul is a colored artifact? I realize this will never be read by anyone at WotC, but I still feel the need to vent my spleen about the apparently random disregard for which cards merit Legendary status vs. which do not...

    tidechannel land displays blue on left green on right, but to pick in game it's blue on right green on left, has often messed up my game

14. Product getting worse by the day!!!!!!!!

    I don't know why I keep spending time and money on this game...O wait I do. Nostalgia, plain and simple. The standard metagame is Mono Red, Mono White, and Sultai. It was this before rotation and then it was improved upon by giving the best cards in the set to these decks. The shuffler is getting worse not better. I have a sneaky suspicion the match making is getting worse too. Seems like you face off depending on what part of the meta you are using (i.e. specific cards), how many wins in a row you have, and for some reason against all mathematical odds you can spend days never going first. The fact that going first is such an advantage is probably the biggest red flag the system is broke in the first place. Stop worrying about politics and start worrying about product. This is a sense I am hearing from many people.

16. Make Magic: the Gathering Arena available in the Brunei iOS App Store

    Myself and the other MtG players in Brunei have been looking forward to playing Arena on our mobiles every since the announcement of Arena on Mobile. Unfortunately many of us don’t yet have access to the game since it’s still not available on the Brunei iOS App Store.

    We have an active MtG community here that has been around for almost 20 years and we just had the Strixhaven Prerelease recently in our LGS. We want to have more ways to enjoy this great game and would like to sincerely request to Wizards to have Arena made available on the Brunei App Store so that we can enjoy the game on iOS.

18. Shrines triggering same turn as Sanctum fetches them

    The ruling on Gatherer says that shrines that Sanctum fetches do not trigger the same turn, which would follow with the "beginning of upkeep" text on the card. This is the way that the shrines come in when you're playing historic. However, in standard brawl, the shrines are triggered on the same turn. This is a bug and should be fixed.

19. Mobile mute of player does not mute pets

    Dog style pets of opponents make an excessive and irritating amount of noise, seemingly every time the opponents life total or creatures are interacted with in any way. There is seemingly no way to turn off or reduce the amount of noise in app as muting the player does not cause the pet to "go to sleep" on mobile as it would in the desktop computer program

    I hear, and agree with, a lot of content creators referring that the bo3 prize structure is bad. There is no difference between 0 and 1 win.
    It should be more distributed the prizes.
