Algorithm Improvement
I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.
But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile and put those cards on top. A better template would be from the card shuffler for poker sets from stores.

asking if I enjoyed the game is just harassment. When you get a program where I'm losing to my opponent more then your shuffler then feel free to ask, But since you changed your shuffler I have to mulligan way more then not and usually it's more then once. Either you guys are clueless or you are intentionally modifying win rates. Ether one just says you really should just shut down your game and give it an overhaul.

More and more AI interferes with the randomness of the game, statistically it is impossible to lose 30 games in a row...
and the next day with the same deck win 15 games except the sixth game if I play a white deck it matches me with white decks if I play with black decks it matches me with black decks, there is no such thing as chance, every day the intervention of the AI to modify the games according to the criteria of those who run the game, this is rubbish, I have read forums where the question is repeated, how can perfect decks come out that do not fail? There is no such thing as chance, there is always a "hand of God" that intervenes at the last moment -

The matchmaking is a joke. But then again the company is a joke and refuses to acknowledge their paying customers concerns other than saying our game is working as designed. So what they are saying is that a player that have never made it out of diamond using a 10 rare deck is supposed to face Karn decks with 30+ mythic rare cards 80% of their games. This game is nothing more than gambling and has almost no parallels to playing an actual game of magic. The game decided before I even drew my cards that I was programmed to lose. If I have 12 cards in my deck that are creature cards and in three games in a row a mulligan three times to not get a single creature... That is some astronomically small odds to happen once a day or more, not to mention 3/4 of my opponents have the perfect hand to win by or before turn 4. The programmers of this "game' should be ashamed that they have only creative bankruptcy to only produce a FOMO slot machine and nothing more. This company is one of the cancers of the gaming industry and should be heavily moderated by the government because currently it's the same as going to a casino, even though it claims to be a skill based card game.

when are you going to fix your F****ing shuffler, I have lost almost 2 tiers worth of ranking because of it. I could understand if it was all mana flood or starving but when its one for a game or 2 then it's the other for a game or 2. That says the issue is on your end and not the deck. Its bad enough that you put a legal exploit for mono decks but then we have to put up with this S**T. You are quickly killing off your player base and putting the nail in MTG's coffin.

How many new players in the world do you think there is? Cuz let me tell you as someone who plays commander with many people every week, all your doing is driving people away from the game. So many people come to the bar with a pile of proxies, saying they'll never spend on Magic again and it's all because of arena. I haven't played a game in a month that's gone past turn 4. Either one player is mana screwed or one player hits flawless curve and the other doesn't stand a chance. Win or lose. It takes over a minute to join games. It never used to be like that. The sad sad sad sad PATHETIC thing, is so many players, myself included, would KEEP spending money if there was ANY sort of transparency. Instead your employees gaslight the community. It's ******* disgusting.

Dear Wizards of the coast and your Disney overlords,
I want to thank you for giving me such a ****** draft experience yesterday that made me realize that spending more money and time in the Arena with your absolute horror of a shuffler is absolutely not worth it. Why would i want to invest time and money in something that only frustrates me. Short anwser, I wont. Longer answer, see below.
More for my own mental processing and the amusement of the people will briefly summarize what made me this frustrated with the game I have played and loved for nearly 30 years. Yes, the caves of Shandalar hold no secrets for me, neither has it ever given me as frustrating a game experience despite all the bugs it had and they were many, I assure you.
Let me summarize: I was doing a quickdraft Caves of Ixilan and had drafted a very nice RG dino deck and had the fortune to draft 3 on color bomb red rares. ! had a low curve, lots of 2 drops and since i hate being flooded played 16 lands. Awesome deck that should have given me at least 5 wins in the gold tier I am in. However, the shuffler decided differently and I went 0-3 and most importantly (or frustatingly): I HAVENT PLAYED A SINGLE SPELL IN THREE GAMES!!!!!!
After 3 games and 3 mulligans I had only seen hands with red spells and green many or vice versa. The only time I did have green spells and green lands in hand they were all 3 copies of my fight spell but no creatures to play them on. All 3 games I have tried to draw in a solution and if I had continued to tortures myself I might have landed one or two spells, but winning was out of the question of course, so those were three very quick scoops, 750 crystals less and such boatload of frustration that it makes me want to write it down a day later. Trust me, I have much more important things to do...
I find it hard to believe that this is the best can do with all of the options available today. Even Shandalar was better thas this 30 years ago, so how is is it possible that this is the sad state of affairs that not only myself but a lot of other players are frustrated by. It doesn't seem a like sound business strategy to frustrate your player base in this manner, but what do I know. Or is there a PTW opt option nobody has told me about?
I will continue to play paper magic since there I can do my own shuffling and will never statisticly be able to reconstuct what happened yesterday. So thank you Wizards and your inept shuffler, for making me rethink my lifes choices and you can stick your Arena where the sun dont shine!
Kind regards Johan AKA Billie de Bully

Sometimes and often after 2/3 victories, it’s like game want to penalize you, And mana balance it doesn’t work, it give you or too mana cards or 2 mana. I know it’s magic game but it’s not lucky or destiny it’s very mechanical on Arena. Fix it please.

LevisBClevis#30778 commented
Your deck randomize isn’t very random. Multiple games I get 1land or 5 land hands. Other games I either stay at 3 mana or get mana flooded.

After over 10 years, and in light of how your company treats people who disagree with you (i.e. the discord, see my comment below), I uninstalled Arena. I highly encourage anyone who looks at this post to do the same. They won't change anything unless we all stop playing.

BROKEN/RIGGED GAME

So I asked about this in the Arena discord. And I kid you not, I literally had mods tell me that "there is nothing wrong with the shuffler" and that I should "take my conspiracy theories back to twitter" (I don't even have a twitter....). I even had someone aggressively DM me. IDK about yall, but that was so unwelcoming and rude. These are legitimate concerns and they are shared by THOUSANDS of people, evident by the hundreds of comments on this single post alone (https://feedback.wizards.com/forums/918667-mtg-arena-bugs-product-suggestions/suggestions/44184111-algorithm-improvement). So, I just left the discord. Amazing community building, Wizards, real cute. Additionally, I asked why the twitch stream today didn't respond to questions about the shuffler, and was told they DELIBERATLEY ignored these questions because apparently making your customers out to be crazy complainers is your business model????

I was playing Magic Arena and I realized how unfair the game is when you are playing against certain players. I was playing with a player whose library was sacral, well every time I play against this type of library, instant magic and/or spells don't come. Analyzing the game, investigating the algorithm, I realized that depending on the cards played on my side of the field, the opponent's library algorithm changes, it's as if the game was being manipulated. I have already reported several problems related to this and decided to analyze, if the game continues like this, it is not worth playing and it is also more advantageous to warn people since support is not ready to make the game fairer.

when are you going to fix the shuffler, or are you just going to remove the losses from players records where they lose to the shuffler. What I mean by that is games where it doesn't matter what my deck or my opponents is because of a 15 card land run or turn 8-9 sitting at only 3 land. You guys are demonstrating that you really have no clue what you are doing. First shuffler wasn't perfect but it was playable ( 3-4 out of 10 games would be bad draws ) then you decide to put in place hand smoothing untested, It made this much worse ( closer to 6-7 out of 10 is land runs of mana starve, and it can be one then the other) . Maybe you guys should get actual play testers and not just theory craft and stop trying to modify the draws and just push for actual random.

What is the point of playing ranked when I consistently go up against >200 card decks? Why isn't there a limit? This seems unrelated to this post, but I think lots of bad players (or may be good players also?) are doing this to get around the shuffler. And even if that isn't the only reason, clearly your game is currently broken. This is my last season playing (or at least purchasing anything, that's for dang sure) after over 10 years on arena.

I don't play drafts normally but decided to play one. Had a good roll as ended up winning some gems but there was a loss I think was planned. Out of 15 lands (7 blue, 8 white), within several turns, I managed to get all 7 islands and not a single plains. Now that does indicate an issue, doesn't it?
Also, what's been happening recently with shuffler and matchmaker? How come I'm now losing so many games with the deck that's always been an easy climb up the ladder (until at least platinum)? -

EDIT: hoping in a change with the new alchemy set I’ve reinstalled Arena. This situation persist. I feel like some players, less lucky than others, are non included in this game. So I think that Arena consciously exclude some player and it creates a completely unfair and non inclusive play-setting and experience, forcing player to leave for other games, more careful of player experience.
due to unfair matchmaking and shuffler, I had to uninstall the game.
Sometimes it is even impossible to play a game, due to continuous flood and manascrew, statistically impossible in real Magic.
Please fix it and maybe I will come back. -

Just had the opposite error. I just finished a premier draft 0-3 because the shuffler had me draw nothing but lands every draw for all 3 matches.
