How to report a bug

6. If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

Unable to complete required action due to target being sacrificed by opponent result in game time out
BUG: I targeted the opponent's creature with a Banishing Light. In response, the opponent sacrificed the creature, resulting in them having no remaining nonland permanents. The game then required me to select a nonland permanent belonging to the opponent, which I could not do as there were no legal targets. I could not complete the required action, so the game ran through my timeouts and forfeited the game.
I was using the PC platform
The expected result was that my spell would have failed as I could not complete the required step.

(Android) Following September 2nd, 2025 patch : game crashes or freezes when accessing Decks
(Android) Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
Following September 2nd patch : game crashes or freezes when accessing Decks
When trying to access the Decks tab, the game crashes back to the "desktop".
Also happens when trying to access Decks from an event (for example Midweek Magic) : I cannot select a deck from my list, therefore I cannot play this event...
Also happens when trying to edit any deck from "Play"
This bug is absolutely replicable, 100% occurence since yesterday's patch.
So for now I can only play my decks that have been previously played from "Recently Played". Any attempt…

-1/-1 counters not doubling
- Be in a battle
- Cast [[Loading Zone]] or [[Doubling Season]]
- Summon [[Obelisk Spider]] or [[Skitheryx, the Blight Dragon]]
- Do combat damage to opponent’s creature.
Alternate
2. Summon [[Festering Mummy]]
3. Defend against enemy attack & die
4. Target enemy creatureWhat happens: It only adds the regular number of -1/-1 counters.
What I expect to happen: It should add twice that many -1/-1 counters.Same is true for [[Splendid Agony]] with a doubler in play.
Platform: iOS
No workaround I’ve found yet.

Fountainport bug
Mobile in standard event. Opponent able to use Fountainport to pay for its own ability. The screenshot doesn’t provide all the info a fish was made on turn three and a treasure on four each time having Fountainport pay for its own activation

What is happening with the updates ?
Hello WOTC staff and everyone,
Sorry if I'm making a double here.Whats is happening with the updates ?
I'm playing most of time on my phone (android) and I'm receiving alerts that my client is obsolete with a 1GB update twice a week !
It's a mess to download so much data, so often.

Eliminate the your go emote
Please eliminate the "your go" emote. Serves no purpose apart from annoyance. I can't think for more than 3 seconds without someone spamming that nonsense. If you're gonna keep it, at least add a "********" emote for response.

Crewing not being considered an activated ability
I played a Skyseer's Chariot and named Broadcast Rambler which should make crewing cost 2 more to activate. However as seen in the screenshot I sent a creature with only one power was able to crew a vehicle that should have cost 3. This error occurred during a paid for event of quick draft. Regardless of whether I lost or not this, bug needs to be addressed and fixed. I would like a refund of my of my gems for the event please.

Game stuck on "Error Updating Data" screen
Game stuck on "Error Updating Data" screen after today's update. A few weeks ago after the EOE update, the game was stuck on "Retrieving Asset Manifest."
Does the game just freeze in a different way after each update???

MTGAアップデート後、自分のライフが表示されず自分をターゲットとする事が出来ない
今回のアップデート後から自分をターゲットとするためのアイコン(ライフ)が表示されず選択出来なかった。ゲームプレイに著しく支障をきたすバグであり修正を要する。

3rd and 4th introduction match screen glitch
During the 3rd and 4th introduction matches, cards will start to hang in the air randomly instead of placing where they are supposed to. I had this issue and so did my partner. We're both on Android. When the bug starts happening, the entire game slows to a crawl as well.

No visible end date on events
It would be good to have a working calendar as no games have a time out date/ time on them until 48 hours before close. As no guidance is given until so close, which I really don’t understand the logic of by the way, a working calendar becomes essential. I often find though it doesn’t, like now (as of 8:47 GMT 2nd Sept). Quite annoying when this must be a very easy bit of programming to get right.

Game off
4 time when I played my first game in draft from the firs try game just bugs and turn off then I waited for more than minute to come back and my turn finished. And again with the same card on turn 5. And sure I lose the game. On 5th try it didn’t come back. I want my draft challenge money back

"Network Error: Unable to Join the Event. Please try again later."
Whenever I try to play any game mode, I get the above error. Reinstalling does nothing. Repairing does nothing. I'd very much like to be able to play so as not to lose out on daily rewards.

Network Error for events
I cannot play a draft or ranked event because the client claims network errors. I'm not sure why I can't join a game if I have enough internet to draft

Overwhelming Splendor - Not Stopping Creature ETB's
I dont have a screenshot and its difficult reproduce in the wild, but, I just had a game where I had Overwhelming Splendor on the battlefield and the opponet cast Craterhoof Behemoth and the enter the battlefield trigger still went on the stack and resolved. This should not be the case. Per the ruling on Overwhelming Splendor:

Internet is fine tells me it's a network error and to try again later happened immediately after the new update
