How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  2. Remove Digital-Only Cards from the Timeless Format

    The timeless format is a big step forward and many players, including myself are excited to start playing it.

    However, the constant pushing of digital only designs and pursuit of empty slogans such as "all cards on arena are legal" add nothing to the excitement and health of the format, many players would rather a true to paper experience with as little digital designs as possible.

    Please consider removing alchemy from Timeless.

  4. Detailed log missing the Pack 1 Pick 1 entry

    Platform: PC, Win11

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Enable detailed logging in the Settings under Account > Detailed Logs (Plugin Support)
    1. Join a Premiere Draft Event
    2. Progress through the drafting process
    3. Open the player log located at "C:\Users<Username>\AppData\LocalLow\Wizards Of The Coast\MTGA"
    4. Note that the "Draft.Notify" entry exists in the log for all draft picks except the first one.

    Actual: "Draft.Notify" entry is missing from the detailed log for pack 1 pick 1 of the draft.

    Expected: "Draft.Notify" should be present in the detailed log for all packs and picks of the drafting process.

    Workarounds: All complicated or…

  5. ipad overheat

    Since the release of BRO, my ipad air 5 (bought in september 2022) is overheating and having the battery drain very quickly. I think there may be a processing problem with the client

  6. MTG Arena for Mac on Steam

    Please release MTG Arena for Mac on Steam. Currently MTG Arena itself is supported on Mac, but can only be installed on Epic. Adding it to Steam would make it easier for me to recommend, especially to friends and family that are less familiar with gaming and have only heard of Steam.

  7. Add deck type "Friendly Brawl Rebalanced" to direct challenge

    At this time, the only option for playing brawl in direct challenge matches is the deck type "Friendly Brawl."

    All other brawl deck types ("Standard Brawl," "Historic Brawl," and "Friendly Brawl Rebalanced") are loaded into the direct challenge as deck type "Friendly Brawl."

    Consequently, Alchemy Rebalanced cards are automatically switched for the original, non-rebalanced cards in those decks : there is currently no way to play Alchemy Rebalanced cards in brawl matches using direct challenge.

    This results in a situation where players cannot 100% replicate the public queue "Standard Brawl" and "Historic Brawl" play experiences in a direct challenge versus…

  8. Please take measures against “Stalling”/「遅延行為」に対して対策をして下さい。

    “Stalling” need to be punished / 「遅延行為」への罰則が必要です。
    The same goes for “AFK” /「放置行為」に対しても同様に必要です。

  9. Calamity will only generate 1 token copy of the railway brawler while saddled

    1. Have 1 Railway brawler on field. Have 1 railway brawler plotted. On next turn, play the plotted railway brawler, then play Calamity, Galloping Inferno. Use Calamity’s mount on railway brawler that did not enter battlefield this turn. Attack with Calamity while mounted. Calamity will only generate 1 token copy of the railway brawler at 20/20 (supposed to create 2 copies)

    3. Calamity will only generate 1 token copy of the railway brawler (supposed to create 2 copies) when attacking whilst saddled with railway brawler

  10. Bug when attacking with Kylox's Voltstrider

    When attacking with Voltstrider, the ability didn't even trigger even though i had spells exiled with it, which ended with me losing because of that.

    I attacked with it, no prompt showing to let me cast a spell exiled with it (in this case, suspicious detonation). According to the 17lands logs, the spell was exiled to use the "crew ability" but then wasn't even considered to be exiled to the vehicle for some reason.

  11. MTGA: Return the Arrow Graphic

    Please return the arrow as the targeting graphic on MTGA. The new arrowhead is confusing and requires a game of hide and seek on complicated boardstates/stacks. The tail on the old arrow really helped make boardstates understandable

  12. Arena not working on my Mac after last update

    Reproting a BUG. MAC IOS update has killed MTG Arena. I can get the app to load all the way to the home screen where you would start a game, however the app freezes me out. Cannot click on anything and have to force quit to get the app to close. tried uninstall then reinstall both the game in my Epic Games library and teh Epic Games Launcher, nothing works.

  13. Virtue of Strength and Doppelgäng

    More of a bug submission than anything.
    1. On the battlefield:
    Titan of Industry, Leyline of the Guildpact, Virtue of Strength, Topiary Stomper, Flourishing Bloom-Kin, Spelunking, and basic forests.
    Play an X=6 Doppelgäng targeting 1 of everything listed above except the Leyline.
    What happened? 6 copies of each entered the battled creating a lot of triggers. made it through each of the triggers until it made it to spelunking which were last on the stack.
    the game hung up and stopped responding.

  15. Smart priority stop after opponent's Faerie Mastermind resolving

    If I cast a card draw spell and the opponent responds with Faerie Mastermind, it would be preferable if the game auto-stopped for my priority after the Mastermind resolves (if I have something I can cast/activate). Normally, the game doesn't give a player priority if the top object in the stack is controlled by them, but in this case it's important to be able to cast a removal spell before letting the card draw spell resolve.

  16. Deck Edit Bug

    when i press the deck edit button to edit a specific deck, the state is still communicating with the server and u cannot edit the deck.
    i'm playing with a version of the iOS smartphone app and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the situation remained the same. I would like you to respond as soon as possible.

    This game has become trash. The shuffler is trash, the how you favor those that pay over people who don't is trash. I've literally been playing this game for 30 years, and y'all make me hate it. I'm literally sitting here playing this game trying not to kill my ******* self and y'all cheat me over and over and over and over. Nothing but negativity.   18. Error Updating Data After Opening App

    I too am getting the Error Updating Data message when my connection to internet is working otherwise. This is on Android. I have tried Uninstaller and redownloading the app, restarting phone, etc.

  19. Have the game work?

    So the lovely waiting for server bug that sometimes rears it's head when you boot up this **** of a piece of software, is now just popping in in the middle of my games! Feel ******* awesome in ranked when you have to alt-f4 and hope to **** that you can get in before your timer expires. Spoiler alert, you can't.

    WOTC only makes some ******* 40% ebit or whatever the *, you can afford to put more than a * intern on maintaining your software.

  20. Mindslaver / Heist Bug Interaction

    I'm on a Mac and I casted Mindslaver and controlled my opponent's next turn in Historic Brawl. They had their commander Grenzo, Crooked Jailer on the battlefield and when his upkeep trigger resolved to Heist my library I couldn't see the cards that I was supposed to choose from. There was nothing for me to click on so I just died from running out of timeouts. I would look into how Mindslaver turn control interacts with Heist.
