To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Locator has no option for kilometres
Can you please add the option for the locator (events) to use kilometres over miles?

Added functionality
I wish there was a way in the app to see my play record and view the results of the matches I’ve played in.

Update card database
Please update the card database. I haven't seen it update since Dominaria United. I've tried reinstalling the app many times.

Language available.
Having the option to select another language in order to take advantage of the companion. Translation of cards, etc.

Card database
The card database should include new cards at minimum by the prerelease. We opened unreadable cards written in phyrexian and couldn't look up the oracle text

Better option for companion life tracker
Everytime I play Magic, I use life tracker in Companion app.
It's so neat and easy.
But sometimes I confused opponent's life when it's 6 or 9 because it's upside down for my sight.
So, my suggestion is simple.
First, when life is 6 or 9, underline the number so anyone can recognize a correct direction of number.
Second, add a option for verticalized view.
Mostly I put my phone beside the battlefield. I look at it sideaway.
If the life number is rotated vertically, I and my opponet feel comfortable.

Stop logging me out after weeks of inactivity
I keep having to relogin to the Companion app whenever I attend an event and it takes a long time to remember my email and password. It often delays the event especially when my party and I are late to the event.
Please add a feature that saves the user name and password with the phone OS or have an option to stay logged in indefinitely.3 votes -
Stuck in an event
Entered an event code by accident, and the store didnt accept me (as requested).
The event finalized but I still have the event on the main menu and when i click on it, it satys on the "wait until the organizer accepts".

Add Magic's Story to the App
Add Magic's Story articles, like how they do on the website, on an additional tab in the app. Being able to read the story on my mobile device through a highly trafficked app is much more appealing and seems like a wasted avenue. The potential to have the story links seems like the right call to add to an app all about being the companion for a devoted player.

Use Camera to search cards
When playing MTG I often encounter situations where I need to look up rulings/clarifications for cards. Imstead of having to type in the name of the card, I would like to be able to scan the card with my phone's camera.
Example:
- my opponent controls a 1/1 with hexproof
- I play [[electrickery]] for it's overload costs
- does it hit the hexproof creature?
- we need to look up rulings
- to the google I go (because it's faster than the companion app)
- I end up at the gatherer website entry for electrickery

Feedback
1.You should make your account more accessible. Example: by allowing companion to Crossfade with MGT arena that way people can just put your codes in through the companion instead of having to go to the website it'd be easier for all of your customers for sure plus it make people want to download companion more.
Deck making and editing.
It's really cool to be able to look up all cards in the database and be cooler if you could make a deck and then I'd have more use with the database then instead of having to look up the card…

Urza’s fun house
The urza’s fun house card says commander legal which it is not. The app says this but the website and anywhere else does not

Search
Very difficult to get the search button to work from the Advanced Search screen of the Cards feature in the Companion app on an iPad. Seems to workload randomly about 1 time out of 10 presses.

Card db: pictures are not sharp
Pictures of the cards are not sharp. Even when zoomed in they are a bit ibscure. Readable, but foggy a bit.

Let us save the advanced search details, so one does not need to set the search queries every time.

False reports
Hi. I've receiving notifications about being participating in tournaments in which I'm not actually participating.

Export event results
It would be great if there was a button that would let you export event results to a file like a csv.
It could be in the format:
Name, points, w, l, d, breakers
This would let stores that want to run multi-week events easily track/store the results rather than having to do it manually3 votes -
Legality
Please update to reflect current legality of sets.
For example BRO shows only 18 cards legal in pioneer.
This shouldn’t be frustrating for me to search legal cards I may want in my pioneer deck for FNM.
