To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Going back
The back button (seen at least from when moving from card search results back to search) is difficult to reach quickly on most large phones. Some other apps (such as apple’s safari browser) additionally support dragging from the side of the screen to move back, increasing accessibly and speed of use. Would be nice to get this in a round of UI tweaks.

Mana Value and Hybrid Mana
I used the advanced search to look for common or uncommon black creatures (including black, not exactly) with mana value = 1 and Ashenmoor Gouger was one of the results. Not sure if there’s an issue with hybrid mana costs and the mana value filter?

Card Database Feedback
I would like to comment on a number of things in the new Card Database. (FYI, I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7)
Issues:
- In the advanced search, I personally find it too easy to accidentally activate the "mana value," "power," and "toughness" sliders. Maybe you could make it so you have to tap on the orange dots to activate these search fields.
- The database seemingly has a hard time loading large amounts of DFCs and split cards (only the DFC/split cards have trouble loading; anything else in the search loads as usual).

Inclusive, Exclusive, Highest & Lowest Rarity Searches
It would be incredibly valuable for formats that care about Rarity for Magic Companion to include settings to search Rarity inclusively or exclusively, and to filter search results by Highest and Lowest Rarity.
An inclusive search is done by looking for any printing of a card that matches the search criteria. If Card A has been printed at Common, Uncommon and Rare, and you do an inclusive search for Uncommon cards, then Card A will appear in the search results because at least one of its printings matches the criteria. This is like how Pauper currently cares about Rarity.

MTG Collection
I would love for this app to add a collection feature where you have a card look up to help me keep track of the cards that I already own and a section for like a wishlist for cards I want or need.

Sort by Rarity
It would be good to be able to sort the cards in a set by Rarity, so we see all the Commons first, then Uncommons, etc.

Let TO have history of players emails for the store
Let a store owner or TO be able to save a history of players from previous events emails. It's suck to keep having to give them my email address every FNM. It wastes a lot time

Cards missing from database
Some cards for example Angrath, Minotaur Pirate are not in the database or don’t show up in a search.

Event - Commander Increase Player Count
I regularly play matches of commander that has more than 4 players. It would be awesome to raise the player count beyond 4 players!

Duplicates in database
I’ve found an issue with a duplicate of Freyalise, Llanowar’s Fury appearing in card database. This is maybe due to the Commander Anthologies version containing the outdated oracle text “to your mana pool”.

Registration
To see the list of players when you are already accepted by the host

End Match Confirmation
At the end of the match, I didn't receive a notification after my opponent entered our score for the round. There was no confirmation that what they entered was correct. I thought there was supposed to be a two way authentication process.

Preferred Pronouns on Pairings
Would be excellent to be able to have the app show your preferred pronouns on listing as a friction free easy method for everyone to have that information

Tag/Bookmark
I would like to be able to tag cards that I am interested in. That way if I am looking for a new deck I don't need to redo the search.

Comment system in database
Could there be a comment system like Gatherer's implemented in the database? The comments on Gatherer were incredibly helpful before they were disabled.

No Historic in card search
It would be great if we could lookup cards that are in historic for when we're deck building away from the computer.

New card database is great - love that it has images - but please add the AFR dungeons!

Random card?
It would be nice if the card database had a random card button like Gatherer does. I like looking at random cards to get ideas of stuff to build around

Mill Oracle Text
In the card database I noticed the Oracle text for cards does not include the updated ruling for Mill. So cards such as Millstone do not have the most recent rulings.
