To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Stop sending push notifs after I turn off push notifications
I use your app because i have to. I do not consent to being notified at any time other than when I explicitly am in a tournament that requires its use. There’s a setting to disable “general marketing” notifications but it is not being respected.

Oracle text mistake
I’ve seen cards where the Oracle text in the app is different from the Oracle in Gatherer. Most recently Tsabo Tovac.
In the app, it’s only a horror for the sub-type. In Gatherer, it’s a Phyrexian Horror.8 votes -
Seat number in push notification
Instead of trying to load into the companion app to see the seat number in a new round, include it in the push notification when the round starts.

Play each against every other player
Hi there,
sometimes we play i small group (like draft in 4 players at home)
I would like to ask for option to add to Swiss and elimination something like "free for all" where each player plays against every other player (in 4 people, everyone play 3x, etc.) Now in 4 players, there are just two rounds and finito.Thank you

Round Time
An idea, to put the time of the current round synchronized with the players' scoreboard, to be able to keep track of how much time is left before the turns.

Widescreen Bug STILL EXISTING AFTER 3 YEARS
The bug where Arena drops out of Fullscreen resolution for widescreen monitors every time you click on anything in the game is back with this latest update.
It sucks, and this time a registry edit doesn't fix it. Y'all need to either fix this stupid stupid bug or stop doing updates that undo our homemade fixes of this stupid problem. Seriously, fixing this will take one person one afternoon to make it not be a problem ever again. I'd do it for you, but you can't afford my rates

App Crashing
Since the latest update my app is crashing in the middle of games. When restored it has lost track of life totals and reverts to the previous game's life totals. I am on a Google Pixel 8+ Pro

new life tracker design is worse
Worse UX, scree takeovers when putting counters, smaller text, harder to use. I have never considered an alternative due to how simple and easy to use it was before but now I can’t really use this without having to interrupt my game with every change in counters or life due to how small the text is.

Companion should not push notifs when marketing is turned off in settings
When you have marketing notifications turned off, the app should not push notifications. If there are notifications that are not “marketing” but are not related to events I have opted into recovering notifications for, there needs to be an option to suppress notifications.
The app should provide options to never provide unsolicited notifications other than for current active events (including events you have dropped from)

Spam texts
Please stop sending spam notifications through Companion, or at least provide a ready option to opt out of them.

How do you not have match history yet? Like that feels like it should be a better minimum feature to make sure it was properly recorded
In case somebody accidentally types in the wrong results last minute, it would be great if you can go back to that time, report the correct results to the store or judges. Or you can bring it up as a helpful game history log to know your matchups and how well you did. Make an optional even if you feel like it makes for bad feels. But at the very least make it available

Cant log into companion app - email reset broken
Account details input are definitely correct, as I'm able to log into Arena and the Wzards site. But the app does not recognise them.

Specify types of wanted notifications
Add ability to opt out of ads/marketing related notifications at a minimum. As a stretch goal, the ability to specify which types of notifications (rounds starting, pairings, results, marketing for new products or events to name a few) a user would like to receive.

Language available.
Having the option to select another language in order to take advantage of the companion. Translation of cards, etc.

Use Camera to search cards
When playing MTG I often encounter situations where I need to look up rulings/clarifications for cards. Imstead of having to type in the name of the card, I would like to be able to scan the card with my phone's camera.
Example:
- my opponent controls a 1/1 with hexproof
- I play [[electrickery]] for it's overload costs
- does it hit the hexproof creature?
- we need to look up rulings
- to the google I go (because it's faster than the companion app)
- I end up at the gatherer website entry for electrickery

Wheel menu prevents people from developing muscle memory
When you use static menus people remember where items are and get quicker at navigating to what they need. The wheel menu looks cool but makes it harder to actually find what you're looking for.

Unable to Join Event

Need a way to correct mistakes.
Running tournaments at home using Companion is generally great, but sometimes an error occurs when entering match results and there is currently no way to go back and correct those mistakes. This completely ruins a tournament since accurate pairings are unobtainable. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thank you.
