How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Cannot update without disabling Pi-Hole

    I failed multiple times to update today. This is not unusual for me. I'll get to the screen that shows a progress bar for a data download, and then the data count will freeze and never move. Previously I've just tried however many times, using Alt+F4 or Task Manager to kill useless instances of Arena.

  2. Wrong client message on Mac

    I play on Mac, but I get a system message that is for Windows. Mac doesn't use .exe files.

  3. I had cards in exile that should have been able to be played. But they weren’t. I had 7 mana and it would have cost something like 3-4

    I had plenty of mana and had cards that were exiled per air bending. I was not allowed to play those cards when it mattered most

  4. Reversed filter order

    After drafting, I usually type "t:cr" in the search bar to filter my deck and see creatures vs noncreatures. This last patch reversed the order they show up in. Usually the creatures are above non creatures, but now they are below them. Not a big deal, just a change that I'm not sure was intended.

  5. Loading screen looping on iOS, cannot play the game

    Only when I play on iOS, any time I queue for a game, the loading screen goes on ad infinitum (literally hours if I let it) after showing ‘waiting for opponent’
    I am completely unable to queue on the platform, despite having full access to the store, my decks, profile, etc
    I have tried the repair game files button to no avail

  6. Why do banned cards show up in legal cards to be crafted?

    If you select standard, it shows cards to craft that are banned in standard. Furthermore even more egregious if you select standard and format legal, it still show banned cards, which spoiler alert are not standard legal.

  7. IRGENT BIG BUG ! over and over again connection error : An Error occured, please restart

    had a disconection and now i can't reconnect i have this message over and over again even after restarting game.

  8. Quick draft quest not working

    Hello, the quick draft quest isn’t working. I have played two quick draft matches and the quest isn’t progressing. I have used the ‘repair game file’ and reinstalled the app but it still won’t progress. Could you fix this for me please. Thank you

  9. slow

    Whenever I try to do anything at all, including clicking the PLAY button, everything slows to a crawl--to the point I was able to take a screenshot mid-animation of the PLAY menu coming in--I'm unable to click any buttons, and my CPU fan turns to screaming turbo mode.

  10. 1 idea, 1 problem

    Whenever you click a card to see it closer, in a game, pack and deck screens, it should tell you how many of that card is in your collection.... I could definitely see how being able to see how many of a card you have, when say...being beaten by something new, could sway me more easily towards deck building...and that's where the cha-ching ££ happens for all you WOTC marketing peeps..... Plus, ...I'm locked out of the email I registered with....can you help with that please? Haha. Since I just increased wildcard usage overnight with my idea phaha ✌️

    It been 2-3 times now that the game just bug and I have to close the game, then I get to redownload the full 11gb patch

  12. Game immediately crashes on launch

    After the update, I was receiving a black screen after the initial loading screens processed so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

    Now, the game instantly crashes when I try to launch it. The message i get is "Something went wrong with Magic. Magic closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error."

    I was able to play just fine as recently as yesterday. On Android (S24 Ultra).

  13. Sideboard quantity

    If I try to put more than 7 cards in my sideboard, it won't let me save the deck and tells me that I can't save it because there's more than 15 SB cards (which there isn't).

    I'm on Android, I'm not really sure how to recreate the issue for someone else and have not found any workarounds.

  17. Incorrect set release date

    Currently, on the Profile page, if one is to go to the list of cards collected by set by clicking on the current set progress, there is a bug with the data displayed for the original Ixalan (XLN) set.

    Currently, the expansion shows its release date on September 29, 2018, while the original release date was September 29, 2017 on paper and November 3, 2017 on Arena during the closed beta period.

    While I get it that the open beta period only started on September 27, 2018, other sets that were released during the closed beta period have their dates…
