How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  2. Graveyard/die triggers do not work as expected

    Since few days with deck based on:
    * Dreadhound
    *Vraan, Executioner Thrane

    triggers are not fired properly - not enough or not at all

    This is very frustrating and happens in combat.

    Few days ago it was working like a charm

  3. Mechtian Core is targetable after activation

    I activated my Mechtian Core the previous round. On Opponents turn the played a Titan of Industry and targeted the Mechtian Core instead of the Mechtian token and destroyed the token. They shouldn't have been able to target the Mechtian Core because it is exiled while the token is in play.

  5. Battle cry goblin valor singer

    bug in the gameplay. When you attack with Battle cry goblin his trigger, creating an extra goblin when you attack the creatures, six or more power doesn't trigger. valer singer was on the field despite the conditions being met for his trigger. This is with the speed sacrifice jumpstart deck...

  6. Defiler of Faith occasionally not allowing payment of phyrexian mana.

    Every once in awhile, Defiler of Faith will not allow you to pay Phyrexian mana.
    Windows 11.

    1. Play Defiler of Faith.
    2. Play a white permanent.
    3. Observe whether Defiler of Faith gives you the option to spend life.
    4. Observe that auto-tap/payment is the full mana cost.

    Expected: Defiler of Faith should give you the option to use its ability.
    Actual: It doesn't, and you have to pay the full cost.

    I have no idea of why it lets you sometimes, and not other times.

    When I did this with my 3mana/Temporary Lockdown deck, it had forced me to pay the full…

  7. Bug with Halo Fountain

    Halo Fountain is able to activate it's first ability while tapped.

    Opponent had Halo Fountain on the battle field.
    I enchanted Halo Fountain with Mightstone's Animation.
    Opponent attacked me with Halo Fountain, causing it to tap.
    On my turn I played Runic Shot on the Halo Fountain.
    opponent began activating Halo Fountain's first ability and creating citizen tokens.
    Halo Fountain should NOT have been able to activate it's first ability while tapped.
    In truth I would likely would have lost anyway, but my opponent Yugs, took advantage of this bug and produced an additional four citizens and attacked with them.

  8. "End the turn" and "At the beginning of the next end step" interaction

    If a delayed triggered ability is created that will trigger at the beginning of the next end step (e.g. Reflection of Kiki-Jiki or Semester's End) and an end the turn spell (Glorious End, Discontinuity, or Hurkyl's Final Meditation) resolves before the trigger, then it is supposed to trigger on the next turn's end step. It currently does not.

    I totally understand the need for time outs in tournament and important games, but can you please remove them for normal games? There are so many bad behaving players who just leave the timers when they know they're going to lose. I go for the 15 wins a day and learned this is a common frustration across MTG.

    Also, how do basic 60 card decks without any mythic cards and a few rares get matched with players full of legendary and mythic decks?

    Again, really appreciate the work…

  11. Game Ends in Draw...and I LOSE?!

    I want to start by saying I started playing MTG back in 1995 I was 12...I took part in pro tourneys and at one point by the time I was 14 I was hosting tourneys at our local shop in the town I lived in. I have THOUSANDS of dollars worth of cardboard all sorted in boxes in my office in my house. I have spent hundreds on Arena since it came out and was in beta...I also own and played MTGO originally. I am currently in Diamond 2, I was playing what was going to be my last game…

  12. Mill Deck

    Please stop paring mill decks against decks that run more than 60 cards. I get it will happen sometimes, but I just got done playing against 4 in a row like that. So many of my mill deck games are against large decks. It feels deliberate at this point. None of my other decks get paired against so many 100+ card decks so why should my mill deck see so many? It would be nice to see more variation in the match making

  13. nine lives + lich's mastery

    when attacking a player with nine lives and lich's mastery, player takes no damage, no counters appear on nine lives, and no cards need to be discarded (lich's mastery rules)

  14. Koma, cosmos serpent ability doesn't work as it should.

    Koma's ability doesn't work in the stack as would be tournament legal.

    Example 1:
    Koma activates it's ability to tap krenko and in response Krenko is tapped and its ability goes through. As Intended.

    Example 2:
    Krenko goes to activate it's ability and is at the bottom of the stack. I activate koma's ability in response to tap krenko preventing Krenko's ability.
    The problem is the code still allows Krenko's ability to go through when I countered him.

    In the second Koma has priority in the stack and Krenko should be countered as that is tournament rules.

    Please fix this…

  15. Arena crashing during games

    Arena still continuasly crashing during a game and im facing issues like i cannot send messages to adversary, my profile avatar changed of ashiok to ajani during the game and my leval bar stay frozen on middle bar fully

  16. Mutate target spontaneously dying

    1. Playing Brawl, at end of opponent's turn I Flash mutate a Sea-Dasher Octopus onto a Ledgershredder and place the Octopus on the top. The Ledger Shredder has 1 +1/+1 token on it.

    Both Cards spontanteously go to the graveyard and the Sea-Dasher Octopus picture in the stack stays there permanently.

    In other words, not only did the mutate kill the creature when it should not have, but it visually bugged out the client's stack. It was clear my opponent could also see this because they moused over the Octopus card on the stack in my following turn.

  17. unmoored ego doesn't work on cards where the alternative art is saved as a separate card

    Some cards e.g. meteor golem have in the deck collection separate entries depending on the alt art (rather than the more modern card styles). When using unmoored ego to name a card such as meteor golem, it searched the library for the other card and did not let me choose the meteor golems I wanted to exile from my opponents library.

  19. Gnawing vermin exiled

    I have run in to issues with gnawing vermin being exiled instead of hitting the graveyard when there is nothing on the field that would cause it to be exiled. Most recently it happened while transmorgrant’s helm was equipped and I was blocked by a death touch creature (sheoldred). To reproduce:

    1. Play gnawing vermin
    2. Have it die to being blocked (preferably by DT creature) 3 it is exiled and graveyard effects do not trigger

    Other times it seems to work fine, I think it may be the deathtouch interaction

  20. Mephidross $lime's Death Trigger has a Very Large Bug!

    Hey Dev Team! Got another post here, same issue as I've been posting on - but with yet again more juicy deets!

    We've covered how there are various instants that give a creature "When this creature dies, return it to the battlefield tapped with {insert benefit here}", all of which do not result in the "power and toughness are perpetually doubled" portion of Mephidross $lime's death trigger.

    Well, I can now add a new card with a slightly different effect to the list! Ashnod's Intervention, which causes a creature who has died to return to your hand after death, also…
