Name Change
Please let me change my username in game. That's all. I just want a different username without having to go through support. But please don't make it cost currency, the game is already very expensive if you like playing lots of different decks that are rare/mythic card heavy.

Disconnection causing immediate concession without an opportunity to reconnect
Disconnecting momentarily is causing me to instantly lose games. Normally when I disconnect I can restart the client and reconnect before the game times me out. At the moment, however, my normal laptop is out of commission due to a fan failure and I'm playing on a remarkably old ASUS machine. That machine is a couple of wi-fi standards behind, which means it's abysmally slow without a hardwire. However, its ethernet port is also loose because it's an old, battered machine, and if I shift slightly there's a chance of the cord disconnecting. All of that's relevant because while normally when I have a wi-fi failure I can reconnect, but when this happens and I reconnect it kicks me back to the homescreen with no evidence there was ever a game at all and no way to get back into it. This has happened twice, once in standard and once during a draft. In the draft, it initially didn't show a loss (I was at 0) but after playing the next game it was registered as a loss (I went from 0 to 2), which means this is effectively causing a concession when it should be allowing me to reconnect to the match.
This won't affect me specifically any further because I have learned to simply not play arena with the cable, and I'm not expecting compensation because the disconnect was on my end, but any bug capable of forcing a game loss demands immediate attention.
Unfortunately I can't think of a way to test this any further without negatively affecting other arena players (I have no way of knowing what this looks like on my opponent's end, but I think it's a reasonable assumption that they're staring at my timer burning down while I get kicked back to the home page) so I can't provide any further information.

Turn 3~4 wins in standard BO1 concern
Hi! This is a suggestion regarding the current standard BO1 meta, a concern that I have and share with a lot of people I've been reading comments from.
Playing 2 lands and then losing the game, repeatedly, is not fun. Dealing with that by playing some deck that also wins in turn 3 is not fun either, it's not a solution. I play Standard because I know that the other formats are even faster or more frustrating, so, not being able to actually get to play, even in Standard, it's concerning. It takes the fun of the game. So now the fun relies on deck building (that's easily consumed by just building them) and drafting. At least we have drafting. And BO3, of course, but regarding BO1, it's pretty much done, we can't get much fun from it, even in Standard Play. I play Ranked to reach a better place there, but the majority of the games end up in turn 3 or 4 and they depend on who plays first so, the game turned to be almost all about chance, not skill.
And if I built a new fun to play deck and I want to enjoy it, I go to Standard Play and I end up with the same decks... or with some variations like black discard or green toxic (almost equally frustrating).
So I have 3 suggestions:
1) Ban a lot of standard cards, really, a lot. I'd say almost every card in the meta decks. Or, if it's not possible...
2) Give us a new format or way, where we can play the strange decks we build, just to try them, just for fun. Someway where we can play interesting games, full of skilled moves, decisions, with at least 5 or 6 turns, to slowly build our strategies while seeing the opponent's. Not already losing before we could even start building one.
3) Start making cards less powerful or with higher cmc. Heartfire Hero, Sheltered Ghosts, Screaming Nemesis, Emberheart Challenge, Manifold Mouse, , and many more, should be at least 1 cmc higher.
If Lightning Bolt is too great to be in Standard, what are Turn Inside Out and Monstruous Rage doing there?

phoenix down did not exile, was used 2x by my opponent
Phoenix Down was used 2x by my opponent to bring back a creature and then an artifact in the same game, and didn't exile either time. Not sure if this is already a known bug, but would be great to examine the play log and see what happened...

Bug in attack
Was playing a draft and was having a good board and winning the game. I decleared attackers and nothing happend. After a while I get a countdown that was prompting me to declare attackers. As I have allready done that I couldnt do it again. I forced quit the game, but had lost the turn when I got back and was to far behind.
Would very much like a refund of my gems/coins for the draft

Lighting, Army of One ability emblem does not work

Having to submit each artifact separately with Lord High Artificier makes it unplayable :(
Hello, I am a mostly mobile player
When playing with new-to-arena Urza, Lord High Artificier, you have to submit your action after tapping an artifact instead of click-tapping like you normally do. This happens when you are not in full control and makes the game completely unplayable in later rounds where one would use a lot of mana because each tap takes few seconds and makes your time run out, makes the game unenjoyable to you and your opponents.

Yuriko Triggered Ability Bug
Disabling Auto Order Triggered Abilities is failing to resolve when dealing with Yuriko the Tiger’s Shadow.
you are supposed to be able to interact/manipulate the topdeck with her damage trigger on the stack. A key interaction in paper EDH is to have 2+ unblocked ninjas and Brainstorm in hand. Those 2+ unblocked attackers will produce 2+ Yuriko triggers. Suppose you have high MV cards in hand and her first trigger resolves revealing a land. With the 2nd trigger on the stack you can cast Brainstorm, rerack the topdeck to flip two big MV cards instead. That’s the entire point of the commander and Arena continuously fails to emulate the rules properly. In game, players are simply forced resolve her ability.
I’ve been able to order triggered abilities before, so I’m not quite sure why it’s happening here.

Bug with the backside of, “Joshua, Phoenix’s Dominant”
Opponent and I both had the card, “Joshua, Phoenix’s Dominant” in play. Opponent activates the ability to flip their Joshua. On my next turn, I also flip my own Joshua. When opponent adds their last lore counter to the saga side of the card, both his Phoenix and my Phoenix were exiled and returned to the battlefield as “Joshua, Phoenix’s Dominant” under his control. He got both etb triggers and then chose to sacrifice my Joshua so it ended up back in my graveyard. I do not believe this should have happened this way, his saga adding its third lore counter should not have exiled my saga and returned it to the battlefield under his control.

Unexpected count down timer
When my opponent uses Doppelganger, it copies so many permanents with abilities. Even though it was their turn to choose an action, my timer was ticking.

2025 /6/13 霊気走破のQuickDraftで、ゲームマッチ後におそらく相手もこちらも動けない状態に陥った。相手が先手で、何もアクションがなく、タイムアップのエフェクトが起きたが、手番がこちらに回ってこず、投了もできないためアリーナを再起動したら3敗目になっていた。

Falla app IOS 13 de junio 2025
Me encontraba en medio de una partida, cuando simplemente me desconectó del servidor, al intentar reingresar a la app me pidió una actualización, luego de eso ya no pude reingresar a la app no me lo permite.
Todo esto pasó mientras estaba en una partida en un evento de draft, el cual obviamente perdí a causa de esto, por lo que pido se me reembolse el evento. Gracias.

Daily and Weekly XP Missing – Support Says It’s Fine?
I contacted support because I noticed that my mastery XP ends in 25, which doesn’t make sense based on how XP is awarded.
To clarify:
I’ve completed all daily quests since the mastery pass started.
I’ve also completed 15 wins for the weekly XP, which should give 3,750 XP (15 wins × 250 XP per win).
Daily quests give 250 XP per day, and weekly wins give 250 XP per win, up to 15 wins.
So the total mastery XP should increase in big chunks—especially with daily quests and weekly wins fully done—and shouldn’t just end in 25.
But my mastery screen currently shows 725 XP, which doesn’t add up.Here’s an important detail: the first game I played after the mastery pass unlocked was a “Jump Into Magic” match, which I won—but the client crashed or disconnected right after.
I suspect this caused the system to miss registering that win and its XP.I specifically remember that at 2 wins, my XP was 275.
At the time, I thought the XP update was just delayed because of the crash—but now I think that’s when the XP tracking stopped working correctly.Support told me everything was awarded properly, but that doesn’t really fit with what I’m seeing.
Am I hallucinating? Or is my memory of completing 3 full days of daily quests somehow faulty?I’m just asking for a double-check on what’s going on with my XP.
Thanks for looking into this. It would be great if MTG Arena had a way to track XP and quest progress more clearly for players.

Missing mastery pass points 6/12/2025
Not awarded all mastery pass points 6/12/2025. With all 15 daily wins and the daily quest completed I only got a total of 700 mastery pass experience at the end of the day rather than 750 and now am 50 points off.

Selvala Mana Production
I had Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Jumbo Cactuar in play. I attacked, held priority after the trigger resolved, and activated Selvala with Kinnan on the battlefield. The Selvala Activation did not give me 10,000 mana, and I ran out of mana after a few Kinnan activations. I think the game couldn't handle such a high number. This was on PC. I did not screenshot or recorded it, but if I ran into that board state again I will try to get those for you.
