How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  2. Daybound and Nightbound Mechanic not working

    I was playing in a innistrad sealed event and my opponent had tovilar, once it became night it never turned to day again despite me casting multiple spells. Pretty busted for the werewolf player

    No matter which queue I pick, I just get "waiting for opponent" endlessly, even on bot matches.

  4. Please add (and document it somewhere) possibility to have translations to other languages

    I have created an app that allowed to translate the client prior to version 2021.9.0.3880.888241. Unfortunately that version has more rigorous checksum checks and Arena is rendered unusable in the process. Modified files are deleted but original ones are not being downloaded.

    My project mtgpopolsku.pl was used by many players that don't know any of available languages. My voluntary (and completely free) work was beneficial to you and I even have permission to do so.

    Please add a way to translate the interface and card database and to add new language to drop-down menu in settings.

  5. Draft stuck on "Waiting for other players to pass a draft pack..."

    Have been stuck on Pack 1 Pick 8 for 20 minutes, still on "Waiting on other players to pass the draft pack..."

    Presumably the draft is happening without me as the packs are moving their way around the group, but I haven't been able to pick a card for 20 minutes. I imagine soon it'll be done with the draft and I'll have a random collection of cards that were picked for me (and the 8 I did pick). Annoying as I was happy about how the draft was going so far...

    Could I at least please have my draft…

  6. No Decks to Choose in Color Challenge

    On the color challenge I was midway through a fight with green and my game crashed. Now it tells me to pick a deck and when I do no decks pop up. It's not auto loading the deck either and I can't play until I can finish green. It's stopping me from ever getting to ranked play.

  7. Day/Night Not Functioning

    I'm playing on a Windows 10 machine, with the version of Arena released today.

    First game with the new set. I played two spells on my turn in order to flip my opponent's scary werewolf back onto its human side. The "Day" transition effect did NOT occur as my opponent's turn began. The indicator on the left side of the screen DID change to daytime (see attached screenshot). But my opponent's werewolf remained on its night side (see screenshot).

    You might want to fix this, y'all. It's only, you know, the key functionality of the headline mechanic of the set.

  8. cant buy gems

    after I patched for the Midnight Hunt update, I went to the store to buy gems, but there is no option for gems "featured, Packs, daily deals, bundles, avatars, sleeves and pets" are the only options present in the store.

  10. Trade Feature

    MTGA is really fun and enjoyable. But i would like to balance it better with physical, paper magic cards and play with my family and friends. I looked it up and apparently MTGO has a trade feature. Also it allows you to turn in complete digital sets for physical paper sets for a reasonable fee. I would like to see this implemented into MTGA in the future. Allowing players to trade amongst each other would be awesome! And allowing us to trade in complete digital sets for real, physical paper ones would encourage me to actually buy into the $100…

  11. Unable to submit deck

    Every day, when I try to play Arena in basic play mode, I am unable to play due to not being able to submit ANY deck that I have, including the pre-generated decks given to me by the game itself. Y'all need to fix this.

  12. Daily Quest not counting spells casted

    I am playing with a monogreen, and after a match it counts only some of the spells as the color of the spell requested to finish the quest.

  14. Allow Direct Challenge URLs

    Arena should allow URLs to open the client and prefill a Direct Challenge with format options, so that players can just pick their deck and go. This would allow Discord bots and tournament organizers to provide one-click match start solutions. The URL can be a HTTP URL that goes to a page that has an Open Arena button or auto-opens Arena; some OSes, like iOS, macOS and Android, can also intercept the URL and open Arena directly

    For example, a URL could be something like this:

    http://arena.wizards.com/challenge?player1=millenomi%2395099&player2=example%2301234&format=historic&tournament=true

    Starts a Direct Challenge between millenomi#90599 and example#01234 with Historic decks and Tournament…

  15. Auto pass bug

    When using the auto pass button on opponent's turn, it does no work. I still have to click resolve manually on each effect. I use arena on android os. Auto pass functions normally on my turn.

  16. Opponent Executing Inifinite Loop Exhausts My Timer

    Playing on mobile using a Samsung Galaxy S9. During game one opponent executed an infinite loop using Cathar's Crusade and Scurry Oak. I had a wrath in hand so I waited for them to make their tokens. I tapped out all of my mana so I could pass turn without having to resolve their triggers. Opponent made about 80 tokens then passed their turn. I noticed that my timer had been running down during their turn even though I was never passed priority while they made tokens. My turn started, I drew a card and they won the match as…

  17. Ban Golos in Historic Brawl

    With Golos now even banned in Commander!!! it shows that he is cleary to strong and no fun.
    When he is banned in Commander where the powerlevel is so much higher, isnt there a good point of finaly ban him in historic brawl too ?
    As Historic Brawl in Arena has no ladder, its basicly a "fun" mode to play so one commander where the best way is to "leave" should not exist.

  18. Sideboarding Rank-Up Error

    When my opponent concedes during sideboarding in a BO3 ranked match, I only get 1 pip of rank and I believe they only lose 1 pip as well. This provides an incentive to concede during sideboarding against a poor matchup to save rank.

  20. Vesperlark loop

    Playing on Android, I cast a wrath of God into two vesperlarks on board, nothing in graveyard to get back. Opponent gives one vesperlark perpetual -1/-2, which starts the loop only on itself with no life gain or loss in play. I think that opponent should just time out his turn doing a nothing infinite-loop, but the match ends and declares a draw. Where is the draw? His turn should time out, my spell should resolve, ultimately leaving both larks in the gy. I feel I was cheated out of a win in an event match, which will result in…
