Bug
The white enchantment card Overwhelming Splendor when brought back into play into the battlefield will target the player automatically and not the opponent. Meaning that the player who uses the card in this fashion will have the negative effects of the card.
How to reproduce. Use Overwhelming Splendor, card upon play requires an opponent to be selected. Select opponent. Opponent then uses a card to destroy Overwhelming Splendor requiring it to be placed into the graveyard of the player. The player then uses a card such as Brilliant Restoration which brings Overwhelming Splendor back onto the battlefield under the players control except you are not able to choose the opponent to be targeted and the system automatically targets you, the one who played it. This is a bug and not intended play.

stuck while loading the game
I got stuck in a black screen while starting the game since the last update from jul 8, 2025: MacBook Air M1 2020, tried starting with epic games launcher and from the file, initial loading screen is shown "loading card data, loading audio etc." and the stuck on a black screen

Infinite Combat Loop with Genji Gloves
Happened in a Final Fantasy Premier Draft. I was at 20 health with Malbaro on board. My opponnet was at 12 health and had Genji gloves and one creature on board. I equip my Malbaro with with Dark Mages Staff and use treachery to remove their only blocker and then attack for 5 dropping them down to 6.
My opponnet then uses Unexpected Request to steal my Malbaro attaching Genji gloves and attacking. He then untappes and attacks again. This brought me to 10. This should have ended the turn giving me back the Malbaro but instead they got another attack, and then another. I am sure if I had more life they would have kept getting attacks.
I am assuming my opponent knew about this bug as they GG'd me before the first attack. It appears that their may be an issue with using an opponents creature with genji gloves creating an infinate number of attack phases.

Ban all cards with landfall from standard and stop printing them.
2013 was 12 years ago. Landfall should stay in that year and not be in the standard in 2025.

Surveil instad of Mulligan or any other interaction
After the last updatee I can't play at all. Any time I start a game I get a surveil request instead of the mulligan, no buttons for interaction appear nor anything can be done other than surrender. In the event of going into the match by the clock running our of time I again get a surveil request over any intraction that requires a confirmation, no buttons either. I have cleaned my game, defrag it, reinstalled it in differnt disks yet the problem still goes on.

Game Crashes When Cards are Returned to Hand
1. Either player uses an effect that returns a card to hand, including unsummon, self-bounce
2. Android
3. Whenever either player has a card returned to hand, the app crashes
4. I would expect cards to be returned to hand and the app not to crash

Mastery Pass Dailies Not Working
I’m not receiving credit for completing the Mastery Pass dailies. This started yesterday and is continuing into today. I’ve tried playing in both Ranked and the bot without success. I’ve also tried different decks without success. I’m using an iPad Pro to play. I haven’t found any “work around” to be successful.

second spell cast each turn benefit triggers not occuring
once again lacking triggers!!!!!!! was jist in a match threw down the blue 3 cost that reduces mana needed for second spell a turn, had a chocobo kick and an open green, no reduction went straight to combat, same match different card trigger of adding counter only drew 1 card first timeand 3rd time,second time drew appropriate number, was reporting players for this but im pretty sure its the triggers being "lost not a specific cheat persay,maybe an exploit bit idk i just knowmultiple cards different abilities but always triggering of either a second spell,second draw or counter to draw/creature to land, or with white, random buffs and trigger like with angelic, asreported 2 months ago,i still dont use that card because it continuously errs.anyway, this too will be ignore so i guess just griping at the devops. i wont say youre bad, just not very good...

Angelic Destiny Enchantment vs Death touch
I am using an Android
While blocking my creature with death touch did not kill the attacking creature. The creature attacking did have the enchantment angelic destiny, that enchantment does not contain creature gains indestructible.. But maybe the enchantment is the reasoning behind the bug. Who knows?

Entail Prinal Sickness
There may be bug MTG Arena. I blocked Entail Prinal Sickness with a 4/6, got only 6 points of damage, but also got 13 poison counters.

Click Cancel(mouse) fails / ignored.
At times clicking the "Cancel" button in the UI does nothing.
1. I see the "Cancel" button flicker / change.
2. I heard the audio when the cancel gets clicked.
3. It will force me into the match / The UI for the canel randomly disappears & forces me into match.
4. It might cancel and just record a loss.Please stop using AI..

antimaleficio duda/bug
Tenia un 'Orbe de los dragones de jade' con el cual juego un 'Bocahumareda salvaje'.
El juego me pone la animacion de que tiene antimaleficio, pero fue destruida porque fue objetivo de un conjuro con efecto de 'destruye la criatura objetivo'.

Cards not in my deck are in my deck when playing
I have a “dragon” deck with red/white/blue, no cards exist that can “create” cards into the deck during gameplay. I have had cards with the wrong colors (black/green) appearing in my deck during the game. Totallly bizarre and has cost me a couple of matches

Mac M1 Max – Massive Battery Drain & Overheating on macOS Sequoia
After updating to macOS Sequoia 15.5, MTGA causes extreme battery drain and overheating on my M1 Max MacBook Pro (2021, 32GB RAM). Activity Monitor shows Energy Impact values as high as 2800, even with all graphics settings on low and no other major apps running. Feels like it's going to catch fire.
I’ve verified that I’m using the native (non-Rosetta) version. Other games and apps run normally, so the issue seems specific to MTGA on Sequoia.
I’ve seen older posts from other Mac users requesting native Apple Silicon support and improved optimization.
Continued investment in macOS performance would go a long way in making MTGA feel like a truly inclusive, cross-platform experience. Please advise if optimizations for Apple Silicon and Sequoia are planned.

I Used Cruelclaw's Heist on my opponents Silverback Elder. I then cast the Silverback Elder but i was not able to use any of the cast abilities when the creature entered.

While i was playing against my son. My son had Freya Crescent, which the prior turn he had used sheltered by ghosts to take my Preacher of the Schism. So shelter by ghosts was active on his Freya . Then it was my turn i used the spell Claim the first born on freya and had paid the ward 2 to gain control of Freya. Upon paying the ward cost i then gained control of freya but then shelted by ghosts fell off and went to the graveyard and i got my preacher back. As far as i am aware THIS action SHOULD NOT have happened. But it did. Is there something i am missing, because as per the rules i have read the sheltered by ghosts should have remained active on freya for me to attack with her but as i said this didnt happen. It instead when to graveyard and i received my preacher back under my control as if i had destroyed the enchantment which i didnt. If i am missing someone someone please explain

Free Phantom Draft
Draft is the most inclusive way to play Magic. Everybody picks cards from the same limited pool, you can play regardless of how big your collection already is and your opponents, from the newcomer to the veteran, uses the same cards you could have chosen yourself (to some extent). This also allows the skills of each player to emerge and make the difference, more than in Constructed formats.
Yet, on Arena, the most inclusive format to play is not the most inclusive to access: the gold/gem entry fee forces people interested in drafting to play Constructed for days before they can afford just one or two drafts per week. Moreover, drafts radically change from set to set and, most of the time, the available set is the most recent one. After two or three months - therefore after a dozen of drafts, if lucky - players have a totally new draft format to learn from scratches, right after getting good at playing the previous one.
Currently, the only options are either to afford one or two drafts per week, to buy gems with real money or to get good enough to recover the entry fee with the prizes. The last one is extremely difficult with so little events once in a while to practice with. All of these conditions make ranking up the Limited ladder an impossible dream for free to play players and an expensive effort for paying ones.
Some people in other threads have already suggested a solution: free phantom drafts always available. Drafting every day for free (or for little), without getting the cards we draft with, would bring many more players closer to the format and make it effectively inclusive. It'll give new rookies a fair environment to compete, without the frustration of facing unaffordable decks in Constructed over and over again; it'll give Constructed-experts a broader game experience, making them better wizards in multiple formats and letting them manage evenly their in-game resources; it'll give Limited-experts a greater and more enjoyable challenge, since more people would be able to practice, climb the ladder and compete at the highest level. It's a win-win for everybody.
To prevent certain exploits, the system might work the same way as Jump In!: resigning before the end of the card selection would not change the cards you get to find in the boosters. The same small entry fee of 1000 gold / 200 gems may be considered, if it helps discouraging unfairness without compromising on accessibility.
The Final Fantasy set brought so many new people into Magic: The Gathering. A new set is coming and the risk of losing a large majority of fresh players just because they don't have the right cards to have fun playing Constructed is real. We already have phantom drafts once in a while as Midweek Magic events, so the proposal is nothing brand new. It's all about making it a staple instead of an alternative. It's about letting all of us enjoy our favourite game in our favourite way, once per day instead of once per week. Draft deserves more love and our love deserves more drafts.

wrong counters for card (Sazh Chocobo)
Playing in Alchemy Ranked and player had Sazh Chocobo in play with Landfall +1/+1. Player played sorcery to put two lands into play tapped, but the resolve counted 5 +1/+1 instead of two. It was the second time I've experienced bad counter programming. I believe it happens when more than the first land is put into play.
