How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Suggestion: Make it more clear what is blocked!

    I just lost a match because it was very unclear which creatures I was actually blocking. On cluttered board states it becomes very visually confusing how Arena represents this. The lines used to indicate this tend to overlap, and like creatures such as tokens are clustered together in ways that make it visually unclear if they are actually blocked even after attempting multiple times to block them.

    I would suggest that blocking creatures should be moved around so that they're placed in front of what they are blocking as directly as possible, as players would do in paper Magic, so…

  5. Kicker selection UI is not intuitive

    The selection UI for cards with multiple kicker costs is not intuitive, especially if you click on the kicker cost you cannot/don't want to pay and want to re-select.
    Why can't it be done similar to Deafening Clarion where you just click to select all modes you want and then confirm?

  6. Direct match put me in ranked queue

    What happened:
    I had been playing Historic ranked for a bit when one of my friends came online and asked if we could play a few games. After a few rounds with 60 card decks he asked if we could play Brawl so I sent him a challenge. I had to select a deck in order to send the challenge since the deck I had used in our previous game was not a brawl deck. After he accepted the challenge, I clicked the "Play" button since I had already selected the deck I wanted to use. Apparently, this also added…

    Every time I try to log on and play the game it says I lost connection to the game server and I even logged out and changed my password to log back in and I got the same result

  9. Season rankings not changing

    Hello,
    I uninstalled and reinstalled Arena to debug. Didn't work
    My season rankings are not changing with wins or losses. Also, I’ve never been able to complete the last chellenge on each intro deck color challenge. It says network error on the last challenge of each color.

  13. Unclear casting options when using both Augur of Autumn and Falco Spara, Pactweaver

    When both Augur of Autumn (with Coven) and Falco Sparta are on the battlefield, the UI gives the option to cast creature spells from the library using either option, but gives no clear indication which one is which. with the only way of knowing by trial-and-error. Fortunately the option to cast using Falco gives an option to cancel, but it would be more convenient if this information was clear on the "Choose One" screen.

  14. Autotapper Incorrect Selection

    Running latest version of Windows client. Autotapper failed to leave up correct mana to play card I wanted to play, considering all mana available in hand (unplayed land). This resulted in a loss that I was about to wipe the board on.

  15. Switching between cellular data and wi-fi causes disconnects

    Steps to reproduce the bug: Start the game while connected to wi-fi. Disconnect from wi-fi (by moving out of range off turning it off) so you’re using cellular data instead. Navigate to any other tab in the lobby or try to continue the match you’re in. You’ll be left with a “Waiting for Server…” and a spinner until you get an error message depending on where you’re at in the app. A restart fixes everything. And the same issue occurs if you start out using cellular data and the connects to wi-fi.

  17. Turn off card / board animations

    Hello.

    Now that Arena has a good player base, with some of them who are playing for a long time ago, i suggest, with a button on the interface, the possibility for the user to

    switch off all the card animations / board animations.

    For those like me who play a lot and since a while, we get tired of the same animations again and again and it would improve our game experience.

    For those with little configurations it would perhaps avoid some crash and improve fluidity of the game.

  18. invisible text in gameplay parameter

    When I open Gameplay parameter windows, every texts are invisible (so we can't read them), really annoing. I'm using a Macbook Pro M1, macOS Monterey 12.5.1 with Epic Games Launcher.

  20. Game crash the first time a card is searched

    Game always crashing at the first time a card is searched.

    The game files are on my secondary drive.

    My PC: AMD Ryzen 5600G, Tuf Gaming B550-plus WiFi II, Crucial Ballistix 32GB of 3200MHz cl16 ram, Kingston SATA SSD and 2 HDD, Seasonic Focus GX-650W 80 PLUS Gold.
    OS: Windows 11 22H2.
