1. Deck browsing while tutoring

   When searching the deck for a card, because of a tutor effect, the interface is very unpractical to me, especially on mobile. I propose to have the ability to scroll a compact text list, like when you choose a name or a card type, which would show the card name and mana cost. I'll explain my issues.
   Firstly, the browser shows ALL the cards in your deck, not just the proper ones. While I understand this makes the game more realistic and favors strategical planning, it results in an unproper behaviour of the slider. I often can't highlight the card I'm looking for, because the cards are too many and the slider isn't sensitive enough. For example, in the attached screenshot, I couldn't easily get to the Plains behind the Islands.
   If I'm not tapping on the wrong card, I need so many attempts to get it right that I'm always running out of time!
   Secondly, the "fan" opening of the cards makes impossible to properly look at their mana cost, which can be very relevant in the mid of a game.
   A compact visual scroller (or the option to use it) would make the search smoother and improve the flow of the game.

2. Cropping bug on 2560x1600 (16:10) resolution on Windows

   I'm recently using a 2560x1600 (16:10) resolution on Windows and the borders of the screen are cropped. Some examples: when I right click on a card on game, I see only part of it, the left part is cropped (shown in a png). In "Recently Played", the first option appears incomplete (left part cropped). In the Quick Draft main screen, the "Resign"button appears cropped as well. If I change the resolution to any 16:9 like 2560x1440, the borders are not cropped any more, but I see a top and bottom black thick borders (shown in the other png). The problem is that I can't bring the mouse to the bottom of the screen to pick or drag the cards in hand into play any more. I need to find where the mouse is, then bring it a bit upwards, then get to where the card (screen) starts, and then I'm able to pick and use the card. It's very annoying and uncomfortable, really. It takes a lot of mental energy and attention, that is taken from the focus on the game. It affects the gameplay and overall performance.
   Is there any solution for this? Thanks in advance!

3. BUG

   Your POS game doesn’t record every game towards achievements (specifically the pioneer) it seems to only record wins and that is NOT what the achievement is. It for PLAYING a game of Pioneer (which sucks now…. Thanks to your greed)and your POS randomizer ******* sucks. You should fire whoever designed this mess….. but no, yall don’t care about your players. Only your bottom line, just like the tangerine tyrant in the white house currently.

4. Thing in the Ice, changeling, and secret identity

   I've had this interaction twice in slightly different situations.

   The first time I had a Silent Hallcreeper imprinted with Hidden Strings and a Thing in the Ice on the board. I attacked with Silent Hallcreeper, targeted with with Secret Identity, then dealt combat damage. I chose the draw a card option, then Hidden Strings was triggered. I can't recall what I targeted with Hidden Strings but it removed the last ice counter from Thing in the Ice, causing it to transform. When it did, it sent Silent Hallcreeper back to my hand.

   The second time, I had the same setup on the board with hallcreeper and thing but also had a Bloodline Pretender (I chose horror). I targeted Bloodline Pretender with Secret Identity, dealt combat damage with Silent Hallcreeper, triggered Hidden Strings, and flipped Thing in the Ice. Bloodline Pretender was returned to my hand.

   I'm not exactly sure why but I assume Secret Identity is making its target a hero and only a hero but the card does not state it loses other creature types. Even if it did, it doesn't remove changeling from Bloodline Pretender.

   Thanks for all you do! This might get lost in the noise of complainers but you people are awesome.

5. Try Cards You Don’t Own (2–3 Times)

   When I play MTG Arena and build decks, I often think things like:
   “Ah, if only I had this one card, my deck would be unbeatable… but I don’t have any wildcards… I could pay for them, but what if I buy it and it doesn’t even fit my deck?”
   Or, “This YouTuber’s deck looks so fun! I want to try it! But I don’t have most of the cards… no wildcards left… I could pay for them, but what if it turns out to be weak or boring?”

   That’s why I’d like to request a new feature:
   A system that lets players use cards they don’t own up to two or three times.

   This feature would have several advantages:

   Player-friendly and satisfying:
   It would meet the expectations of many players who share my thoughts and greatly improve user satisfaction.
   Encourages gem purchases:
   Once a player tries a card and finds it fits perfectly, they’ll naturally want to own it. This will motivate them to buy gems, craft wildcards, and get the card right away.
   Flexible monetization:
   The system could be implemented in stages. For example, every player could be allowed to try a card three times for free (or once per month per small payment), and if they want more uses, a subscription-based option could be introduced.
   Please consider implementing this feature.

6. Crashing when entering matches.

   I am playing on Android, and in some matches, just as the game is about to start, as in move from the finding match screen to displaying the avatars of the players, the screen freezes, the audio stutters and then freezes, and finally the game crashes. Attempting to reopen the client has the same result. It is important to note that this does not happen on all matches, but when entering a match causes the client to crash, every time I reload the client and it attempts to rejoin that match it will crash again. This happened in a match for the historic madagame challenge, but I've had it happen in Ranked matches too.

7. Alternate Way of Supporting Balance Play

   Would it be possible to set the kind of games you like and have the game matching algorithm take that into account?

   First, I prefer playing games that we are evenly matched but I can understand that this is difficult to determine by however you are matching opponents.

   Second, I suspect that the game is tweaking cards that are pulled from my deck. I may be wrong but I’ve had way too many games where I get a land after land or get only zero or one lands after pulling 8-10 cards. I suspect this is for play balanced reasons which I’m sympathetic to but, it’s really frustrating to play against. It’s hard to determine if my deck is bad or the card pull algorithm is messing with me again.

   My proposal is to ask folks what kind of games they want to play, how long they are willing to wait for that kind of game and you do your magic behind the scenes to determine balance.

   I suspect you would be able to give players more satisfying games and would help manage their expectations about what they will be playing against. FYI, I would also give an option to allow players to opt back into your current algorithm from the ‘Waiting for a game’ screen if they are percieve they are waiting too long for a game from their point of view.

8. Limited Match Making is garbage.

   How is it every limited game I play on arena pairs me to the worst case scenario for my deck. For example, I got a copy of The Terminus of Return in my sealed pool and two of my games back to back my opponents happen to build almost identical decks. Their pools contained the creature Selesnya Archivist, who has 1 of 2 modes when it enters and exiles target artifact or enchantment. One of the only spells in green that can get rid of The Terminus of Return. Or it is just absolutely amazing how my opponents happen to draw the perfect answer against my board state when I have the upper hand. Can we please just have true randomized match making, especially in limited.

9. Screen resolution changed after today's Edge of Eternities Alchemy update

   New bug introduced with today's Edge of Eternities Alchemy update (v2025.51.0):

   The left and right edges of the screen are suddenly cropped off on macOS when in fullscreen mode. This means companions, graveyards, and cards on the stack are now only partially visible (see attached screenshot).

   We've historically been able to force a correct fullscreen resolution by entering a custom launch argument in the Epic Games Launcher (e.g. -screen-fullscreen 1 -screen-width WWW -screen-height HHH), however the -screen-height parameter is now being ignored, and the MTGA client is being displayed in a 16:10 ratio (which on my 16:9 MacBook Pro screen, is causing the horizontal cropping).

10. Mastery Pass Rewards bug-glitch (probably caused by orb animation)

    At the beginning i thought i lost the rewards (several Mythic cards) from Mastery Pass of the previous expansion (Final Fintasy), but then i contacted support and verified that actually i got them, even if i didnt see the showcase when i completed the levels.
    Afrter i noticed (it keeps happening in the present with Edge of Ethernity) that it always happens after the animation of the Orb reward. So for some reason when i complete a level that includes an Orb and something else i see the Orb animation and nothing else. I dont see packs, i dont see cards, sleeves, etc. Sadly going into collection/decks i cant see the "new" tag too so i just dont know wich cards i received (or if i actually received them, unless i contact everytime Arena Support).
    This happens in other events too, if they have orb rewards. Luckily i found a work around by going out (i.e. in the deck section) and then returning in the event i found my claimed card there. Alas I cant do the same with mastery pass

    It seems to me that when I use Akroma's will with my commander out, I dont get the option to select both modes. It only ever shows one set of effects being activated instead of both.

12. Let us input numbers for activated abilities with sacrifice effects.

    Specifically regarding Skirk Prospector, but applicable to all cards like him. His ability states: Sacrifice a Goblin: Add {R}. Rather than having to activate his ability individually for each {R} I want to add, when I activate the ability, allow me the option to, like X spells, input the variable, thereafter being allowed to select each of the creatures I wish to sacrifice. I played a game the other day where I needed to use a bunch of mana to be able to pay for an attack due to my opponent's use of Ghostly Prison but the only way I could do so effectively was through Skirk Prospector, but even though I was being completely active throughout my turn, the timer started going down and I couldn't move fast enough to do what I needed to do which, inevitably, cost me the game. And yet there's this one asinine card that whenever a +1/+1 counter is put on a specific creature, it's controller creates a token. Combine that with an effect that whenever a creature enters the battlefield under that player's control, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature, and this guy has a literal infinite loop where he's just creating creatures out the wazoo and there's nothing I can do about it. But even though this effect causes the turn to be taken up ad nauseam, he doesn't get that timer. Making it so I can select the amount of mana I want to add through sacrifice by activating the ability once would drastically speed things up.

13. In MTG Arena, Flash (instant speed) effects will often not be allowed to trigger during opponent's turn

    In MTG Arena, Flash (instant speed) effects will sporadically not trigger at all, or be allowed to be cast during opponent's turn. This happens seemingly randomly, and the opponent's turn will progress without any option to cast instants or Flash abilities.

14. hacking and cheating

    mtg has horrible cheating / hacking in the game which is evident by the tons of complaints. stop ignoring them. you need an easy way to report players in-game by clicking on their name after the game with a match history. then a report cheating / hacking option with a comment option.

    it's obviously cheating when - everytime - we play against the swamp arden / vargsgoth deck, they get a way to discard the card in the first 4 turns. they - always - have a arden or vargsgoth everytime. then they -always- have a zombify 4th turn. it's total ******** cheating / hacking. you need to fix these problems and make a better reporting system.

15. NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object and Unable to open game

    This is on a fresh install of MTG Arena on my windows laptop (I previously had wiped Arena off my laptop with Revo Uninstaller), Downloaded all of the recent patches as of today (2025-06-29) and thankfully was able to keep arena open for the 20 minutes to claim a quest in discord, but I am still stuck at this screen after the full 20 minutes have elapsed (see attachment).
    
    I attempted to log into Arena on both my iPad and iPhone (again, fresh installs on both platforms, never downloaded it there) to try and claim the sleeves from the quest before it expired, but I encountered the same screen.

    I attached the Log file generated from my laptop, the only thing of note that I see is a NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object occuring after the WaitingForMatch start, but notably this was the only logging that happen until I forced closed the application from task manager at 12:35

    Since this issue is occuring across multiple platforms and on fresh installs, I submitted this as an account issue, as it appears to persist no matter what platform or wifi network I play on

    I am unable to even open the game beyond that initial screenshot, which unfortunately means I am unable to enable detailed logs, so the log posted is the best I can get. I have tried a few claimed work arounds from reddit and this page to clear cache, I've uninstalled with Revo numerous times, but nothing fixes this bug.

16. Match Fixing by Arena...

    I've reported this problem multiple times. It happens far too frequently to be an inadvertent bug and is punishing to those of us who play certain decks. In 26 games I was on the draw 18 times. This isn't the first time this happened and is a nasty and cheesy way for MTG to fix its meta problems.

    At this time, Arena is unusable to me due to this nasty problem. I keep trying to come back and hope that you've decided that such a nasty cheat is so obvious and so many people have complained about it that you've fixed it. Obviously that isn't the case.

    If this happened once or twice, one might hand wave it away as randomness. It happens waaaay to often for that as I've reported previously.

    I've reported this problem multiple times. It happens far too frequently to be an inadvertent bug and is punishing to those of us who play certain decks. In 26 games I was on the draw 18 times. This isn't the first time this happened and is a nasty and cheesy way for MTG to fix its meta problems.

17. Fix ******* mobile

    Either update the egregious starter decks, or revamp mobile
    Im sick and ******* tired of going against dual colored decks when the basic starter deck can barely hold its own against a deck of nothing.
    The interface for creating decks isnt the problem its the ability to move around what is by far the worst user interface of any card game ive ever played. And sure that list aint long but it aint that ****** hard.
    Why the interface to make your own deck on mobile only option to fight a bot but as soon as i press play with that ******** green white red or black decks and suddenly im against the most syngerstic deck in the ****** game.
    You guys seriously have the basic decks going against decks that can win basically any game by turn four or five. Meanwhile those decks are barely getting started at turn and 5. Absolutely zero balance but the ability to
    Level the playing field on mobile? Completely non-****-existent.
    On mobile the interface should be decks, matchmaking, profile. Like seriously look at my last 5 games against any of the real people and tell me where i need to be to not play **** bots, but not play decks that have 30 cards put down by turn 5. Because if its just standard deci, then it should only play atandards no? Or maybe easily upgraded? Or
    Maybe not made so actual *** they can actually compete? ( have you seen that red standard deck win against any deck not put together by an 8 yr old? Or an opposing really really bad hand) no you havent because its **. And black green and white arent much better. So seriously for the love of all people who wanna have a mobile version thats worth keeping on their phone, fix the interface, the matchmaking and just be better. Or download play on your phone tell me how easy and seamless those things are. Got that wack ** **** for a card game. Wild

18. Anytime i play starwinder the application remaines stuck and i need to reload it

    Instead of showing the cast options the game remains stuck but timeout bar works.

19. Waterbending didn't allow for reaction from Yue

    I had Yue, the moon spirit in play, along with 4 other utnapped creatures, and, amongst others, an Aang's iceberg in hand. I planned to block and then tap to waterbend the iceberg out. This failed to be an option leaving me in an unfavourable combat.
