How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

  1. Leyline giving bonuses from lifelink before resolution of damages

    In game according to the rule if a creature gets damage equal or superior to its toughness, it die.
    The white leyline (current standard) allows to give bonuses if the controller have more than a certain number of hp.

    Right now I just witness an interaction where the leyline gave bonuses to creature that were 0 in toughness before they die. I understand that lifelink triggers in same time as the damages but the bonus from the leyline that is activated by the life gain from the damage should activate AFTER the resolution of the damage.   2. Anticausal Vestige doesn't allow Twinmaw Stormbrood to enter

    Anticausal Vestige doesn't allow me to put Twinmaw Stormbrood into play while having 7 lands on the battlefield. I assume it's reading its mv as 8, and I tried looking for rulings but couldn't find how these two interact. The permanent part of Stormbrood is 6. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding.

  3. Quag Feast

    [[Quag Feast]] text "Choose target creature, planeswalker, or Vehicle. Mill two cards, then destroy the chosen permanent if its mana value is less than or equal to the number of cards in your graveyard."

    Im thinking the two cards just milled should count as part of the "number of cards in your graveyard".

    fwiw: on MTGA Alchemy the two cards just milled Do Not count as part of the "number of cards in your graveyard".

    reddit askajudge responds the two milled cards "should' count as part of the "number of cards in your graveyard".

  4. Bolt Bend

    Pretty sure bolt bend is bugged, as its not operating howbthe card reads, and is currently the worst counter card I've ever seen, and the most expensive if you dont meet the condition that i remember.

    The card text states "Change the target of target spell or ability with a single target", it notably does state "the owner of target spell or ability changes the target of soell or ability with a single target", but thats how its functioning, i don't get to redirect the spell, the person who originally used it does.

  5. Issue with commander getting milled from library

    I allowed my commander to be put at the top of my library. It then got milled with Gyruda. I was under the impression that when it moved to my graveyard, I would have the option to have it put into the Command zone, but I did not get the opportunity to do so. Is there a rule that I'm missing or was it just a game bug? If it was a game bug it needs fixed for sure.

  6. Bug : perpetual effect preventing boardwipes :

    Perpetual effect seem to protect creatures from getting destroyed. To reproduce : Play brawl. 1. Have a player play the "seek a card/hardened scale" enchantement. Have him play bristy bill. Have him seek bird of paradise winding constrictor. have him play bird of paradise, have him play winding constrictor. Have the opponent play "the returne one creature to your hand, then boardwipe" spell. Bird of paraides and winding constrictor have their perpetual effect removed but otherwise stay on the battlefield.

  7. Requisition Raid denied all casting options

    In the following game, Requisition Raid did not allow me to cast it--at all. There were both enchantment (Protected By Ghosts) and artifact (2 Dark Knight's Greatswords) targets and I had more than sufficient open mana.

    The bugs are getting bad guys. I can't even recall this ever being an issue before. It's not a recent patch regression.

    I'm losing faith in WotC's ability to maintain this product.

    Cards I once considered "stable" are suddenly...not?!

  8. Hide in Mundanity card removing reach and giving reach back with ArchAngler's Skyrod puts the card into an unusual state

    So I cast Hide in Mundanity onto my enemy's Alenni, Blood Recruiter, enchanted with a Chosen By Valvagoth & equipped with a Archangler's Skyrod. As I understand it, this should make him an 11/11 with defender and either reach and the "attack causes tapping" or no other abilities, depending on the rules (the Hide in Mundanity was the last to be cast on Alenni. Then I attack with my "Eztli of the Thousand Moons," which innately flies, equipped with an Angler's Shield. the attack is 'blocked' by the Alenni, but no damage is done to me. it almost seemed automatic,…

  9. Poison

    In Commander, players start with 40 life, but the poison counter loss condition is still only 10. This feels unbalanced compared to other win conditions, since poison strategies can eliminate players much faster than regular damage-based decks.

    I suggest raising the poison counter limit in Commander to 21, similar to the commander damage rule. This change would make poison mechanics fairer and better aligned with the pace and spirit of the format.

  10. Auto passed turn when Leyline of Anticipation on Board

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Leyline of Anticipation on the board. Can cast spells as if they have flash.
    2. Platinum Angel and One with the Multiverse in hand.
    3. Wait until opponent's turn to play spells.
    4. Waited until they attack.
    5. Priority switches to me.
    6. Played One with the Multiverse.

    Expected Result
    Can play Platinum Angel next.

    Actual Result
    Auto passed the turn after playing One with the Multiverse.

    Reasoning
    It should not have passed the turn. It should have recognized the new rule and allowed to play another spell from hand.

  12. Yuna - Currently bypasses Ward/Hexproof when putting an enchantment into play

    Yuna, Hope of Spira puts an enchantment into play at End Step and targets my Kiora with Ward 3 and then again targets my Koma with Ward 4 the next turn, does not pay the ward cost for either, and still neutralizes my creatures.. this appears to be a bug, given rule 702.21a clearly stating the ability should be countered.. I had a Koma Coil as a viable target, but my opponent was able to bypass the Ward. This should be fixed.

  13. Siphon Insight can't cast Force of Negation's alternate casting cost

    I was unable to cast my opponent's Force of Negation by exiling a blue card from my hand after I got it with Siphon Insight. This is clearly a bug, as on Siphon Insight's own rulings it even mentions how to determine alternative costs: "To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was."

  14. Issue targeting and blocking Rot-cursed rakshasa

    I play on MTGarena, on my phone (android).
    [log: 2025.49.55.4263.1164380]
    In a standard game, I play capricious hellraiser. Its capacity triggers and allow me to play (for free) "the end" from my graveyard. But while trying to target Rakshasa with "the end" I can't. It is just not proposed as a possible target by the software.
    On my following opponent's turn, he attacks with Kashrassa... And while choosing my defending creatures, I cannot select Kashrasa to block it. My opponent played no instant to protect Kashrasa neither during my turn nor his/her turn.
    And this bug induced a lost game…

  15. Tellah Great Sage does not deal damage twice when triggering twice

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Have Tellah, Great Sage and an effect that doubles his trigger like Harmonic Prodigy on the battlefield.
    2. Spend 8 or more mana to cast a noncreature spell.
    3. Tellah will trigger twice, the first one will do all 3 effects but when the second ability resolves you only draw 2 cards and make your hero token.

    The ruling on gather for him state: "If Tellah is no longer on the battlefield when its ability resolves and eight or more mana was spent to cast the spell that caused its ability to trigger, the ability will…

  16. bug with Thunderbond Vanguard and Mobilize

    BUG - mobilize kills Thunderbond Vanguard (possibly any warrior creature) even though he is not a token and does not have mobilize or even though he did not attack.

    Platform - pc

    To Reproduce - Simply have a Thunderbond Vanguard in play and attack with any creature with mobilize.

    Results Experiencing - At the End of Turn phase cleanup/trigger the rule for Mobilze goes off, Thunderbound Vanguard dies even though he is not a token or even attacked.

    Expected Results of Feature - At the End of Turn phase cleanup/trigger for mobilize ONLY THE TOKENS CREATED BY MOBILIZE should self-sacrifice…

  17. Take Action/ Decline Button triggered 432 times

    Please create a one time clear out when certain abilities trigger multiple times. I destroyed an artifact, which created 216 creatures. Those non-human creatures coming in triggered both of my Wildborn Preservers to trigger. It made 432 prompts that I had to clear out individually. I obviously wasn't able to do so in time and went through a whole time out session. I also suspect that I won because when I swung, he wasn't able to clear out my attack on his side.   18. Wizard's Lightning intermittently bugged when calculating it's casting cost.

    This is the second instance where I've encountered and reported this problem.
    (First report here: https://feedback.wizards.com/forums/918667-mtg-arena-bugs-product-suggestions/suggestions/50032566-wizard-s-lightning-does-not-see-that-slickshot-sho)

    While I still can't rule out an interaction between Wizard's Lightning and Slickshot Show-Off being the cause, this time was slightly different and feels like something else is happening here.

    This time, after casting Reckless Charge, Wizard's Lightning again showed its cost as 1 Red.
    This should have left me with 1 Blue to cast Consider, but instead that land was tapped to pay for Wizard's Lightning as well.

  19. Floodmaw on Cecil and Dion effectively exiling them

    I was playing Orzhov Knights with Cecil and Dion against a prowess deck. In game 1, they hit my Cecil with a floodmaw, but rather than returning to my hand, he stayed on the board but appeared to not exist anymore as I could cast a second Cecil without the legend rule triggering and he couldn't block or attack. The same thing happened to a Dion in game 2. I suspect it has something to do with transform creatures being bounced.   20. Multiple Triggered abilities stack order is not chose by player

    Wherever I play any ability which triggers in "Whenever you attach" and/or "Whenever this creature attacks" I can't chose the order I want to put them on the stack and so I can't use the correct combination of effects.

    It should be possibile to decide triggered abilities order as written in the rule book by APNAP:

    1.   Give us the steps to reproduce the bug:
       1.1 - play anything with mobilize and something that triggers whenevber a creature attacks         or a player attacks
       1.2 - attack
      
    2.   Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS):
