How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Demonic Pact

    As others have noted, this card incorrectly displays a partial but not correct list of available modes. It isn't simply that no modes are greyed out, but not the correct, complete ones. It is misleading because, with several out at once, it becomes all but impossible to know which copy has which modes available. I lost this game as a result.

  2. Game just shut me out of the event after I won, with zero losses, a making me have to buy into it again. Seriously ****** off.

    I started a game event on one of the quick drafts. Played a single game a won, had zero match losses. I had to put the game away for a minute, being on mobile, so I got back on an it game me do do a coins for winning a daily match. Basically registering that I won the match.   3. Starter Decks not received and Alchemy Play button bugged out

    I am a returning player. When I first played MTG Arena, I (apparently) completed the green Colour Challenge and received the Starter Deck as a reward as normal when I first played. Now I came back and finished the rest of the Colour Challenges, did also receive the other Starter Decks, but they are shown in the Deck Editor grayed out, telling me I am missing some cards. Yet I can clone the decks and then play with the clones. It seems to me that I have the cards but the Deck builder hasn't noticed yet.

  4. Avatar premium draft is down

    Avatar Premium Draft Bugged and Disappeared.

    I am using a Windows PC and accessing Arena through Steam.

    I paid 1500 gems to enter a premium avatar draft. After I completed the draft, I was stuck in a clearly glitchy queue. I reset MTG Arena and the same issue occurred again.
    Now the premium draft is gone and so are my gems.
    Id like to be refunded for gems I spent.

  5. Mulligan smoothing does not properly account for 'X' CMC cards

    I'm aware that Arena has a 'smoothing' algorithm designed to reduce the chance of mulligans by giving players a better chance to have a starting hand containing the nearest number of lands to their CMC, but I've noticed that this doesn't properly account for 'X' CMC cards.

  7. Toxrill, the Corrosive applying two ***** counters per end step

    During a Brawl match I was playing, the opponent had Toxrill, the Corrosive in play. During their end step, all of my creatures were given two ***** counters instead of one. Nothing on their boardstate or mine doubled counters of any kind or doubled triggers. Everything on board was vanilla. This should not be happening and I lost the game because of the extra ***** counters.

    This was discovered on PC through Steam.

  8. Fix it ticket

    Here's a brand spanking new idea I'm sure nobody has thought of... actually it's a 2-option idea... either let people chat instead of using childish emojis or FIX the game they screwed up! There's no strategy anymore. It's people copying peoples' decks. Sure anyone can do it but playing the same decks over and over from millions of people is just annoying. The game is dead from what it was. THEN... you guys royally effed it up by pandering to people to have uber-powerful decks. The balanced is screwed.   9. Create non-alchemy versions of existing formats.

    I certainly feel it is safe to say the general consensus towards alchemy cards is overall negative. Many arena players like myself simply want a convenient way to play magic online using decks we may already have in real life, or simply decks that we have created with cards we know of. Alchemy stands in the way of that.

    Given that alchemy cards are generally powerful and their digital nature, players are left dissatisfied with the intrusion of alchemy cards into "paper" formats. Decks that do not utilize alchemy cards are very likely to fall victim to decks that usually…

  10. Solution: Roping (reward based, not punishment based)

    Most of the anti roping ideas come back to detecting/punishing the ropers.

    I've been starting to realist the solution isn't about the roping player, rather about the other player.

    In any non ranked, random queued game add the following well publicised rule:

    If you win a game to a roping opponent (an opponent who has roped for >80% of the entire duration of the match and/or has lost to roping timeout) - double your gold and XP track rewards for the game. Make sure both the roping player and the normal player are notified of this bonus at the end…

  11. Cards Won't Move From Right Side of Screen

    On Mac (Epic Games Launcher) and iPhone (App Store), I haven't been able to complete the tutorials because the cards being played don't move from the right side of the screen after being played. Lands also stay where they are placed, instead of being moved to the bottom left. In the black tutorial (the 4th battle), I can't complete it because my cards that I am supposed to block with are behind the enemy attackers, so I can't click them. The card that created the blockers is shown in the screenshot, but is not just an issue with this card.…

  12. mystic reflection

    A player cast their commander, Kefka, Court Mage. I had Mystic Reflection in hand, but I wasn’t given the opportunity to respond to the Kefka spell. I should have been able to cast Mystic Reflection so that Kefka would enter as another creature, but that didn’t happen. It’s worth noting that there were no cards on the battlefield preventing me from casting instants or stopping me from doing so.

  13. Impossible to complete task.

    I havenarbeider quest to complete jump in 3 times for more jump in tokens. I used my jump in tokens and it did not count my last entry neither repeating jump in events count, it seems impossible to get more and get rewarded for this task.

  14. victory but didnt count for the 0/15 standard wins

    hi i got a victory when a standard player conceded, but when i went back to the home page it still shows 0/15 standard wins for the reward (250 coins and 25 xp)

  15. Tutorial

    The option to turn off the tutorial is missing or been removed. Or there’s a glitch in which the blue little fairy has been reactivated with no tutorial decks remaining, as I have completed it all.

    In essence I don’t want to hear it every time I exit a match to complete a quest that’s not even their or on my home screen as I’m sure that in its self is a glitch…

  16. Rebelling fire fail

    The deck does not need white lands. The planes were forced into the deck and I have zero utility for it. It has made the deck completely useless.

  17. Omniscience should be banned in Standard

    It's the worst feeling seeing your opponent just loop and play whatever the **** they want while you sit there unable to do anything. It's not even cast, just cheated out and turns the game into a solitaire match. It might as well be another one of those stupid cards that says "You win the game". It goes completely against the core of the game of having to pay mana to cast spells. I don't know about everyone else, but I like actually playing, not seeing someone just throw out a card that basically says "I win".

  18. Mana drain not allowed to be played

    Wasn't given option to counter with mana drain, had two open blue, it was my turn. Both times I had a deathrite shaman out that it was giving me the option to use but when I tried multiple times to forcibly drag mana drain from my hand to enter the stack nothing would happen. Nothing was uncounterable. There was no cancer of souls or anything that would have pre ented my interaction.

  19. Completionist II Achievement for sets without cards of each rarity

    I attempted to complete the achievement “Completionist II” by getting 4x copies of each card in Thunder Junction Alchemy (Yes, I picked that one of all sets, ridicule me in the comments). it shows as being complete on the Set Progression page, but isn’t triggering in achievements.

    I think this is because the achievement is relying on a number greater than zero to gauge completion (e.g. 1/2 returning 0.5, 2/2 returning 1.0, 0/0 being 0.0) Thunder Junction Alchemy has zero commons in the set, so my guess is that the achievement is written to see that as having 0% of…

  20. Not getting priority even when full control with Fire Nation Drill

    In a draft match I had an Azula Always Lies in hand and had just played a Fire Nation Drill. My opponent had a 5/4 creature. I should have been given the opportunity to respond to my own trigger of Fire Nation Drill to use Azula Always Lies to reduce the power and toughness of the 5/4 by -1/-1 before being forced to resolve the first part of the trigger on Fire Nation Drill.
