1. Timer

   When a player is active and casting
   Spells or using abilities the timer shouldn’t count down. I was playing and hit a good combo and it timed out. How is that fair play.

2. cosmogoyf

   my cosmogoyf's p/t were 13/14 but my exile contained 26 cards and graveyard did 13 cards. I couldn't check damage it would deal because it had been instantly killed by my opponent but it seemed to be a wrong display of P/T.

3. Bug - arena fail to reconnect

   It makes no sense I click the capture log button but there is no way to actually post it. This is a very repeatable but I. Every platform I have ever played on after playing on multiple phones, with or without mobile data wifi or any other connection.

   ANY time the game disconnects you, the only way to reconnect is to instantly identify you are disconnected and manually force close because the reconnecter is broken and takes to long. Even if you force close if you are not fast enough the game will say ... Attempting to reconnect and then pivot to loading initial scene telling me I lost a game I was winning because the game freezes on attack step. It is deplorable that this game involves real money purchases when your win loss ratio is dependent on if wizards server which has been an issue since beta.

   Even other games like DBD which is far more complex has been patched recently to run smoothly but this product for as much time as I have put in routinely fails and by result I only want to play against sparky now even then if you get disconnected it just automatically boots you even when you reconnect.

5. "Well of Lost Dreams" keeps asking if I want to pay mana when I have no mana left

   "Well Of Lost Dreams" keeps asking me if I want to pay mana when I have none that could be paid. Most cards are smart about detecting this, but this one seems to slip thru the cracks. It's especially bad with token engine decks. Thank you.

6. Card stayed on the stack

   I was running low on time and activated "Narset's Rebuke" during Combat and was attempting to then play "Alesha's Legacy" when I did so, it stayed on top of the stack and the rest of the turn proceeded. Going into my opponents following turn and my next turn it was still visibly on the stack. I click on it and it spends it as if I casted it without letting me undo or take it back. This resulted in me losing the game and getting my third loss in the Draft Event. This is ridiculous.

7. Leyline of sanctity not protecting against permanents

   With Leyline of Sanctity in play (and also Omniscience if that matters), opponent's Magebane Lizard and Roiling Vortex were still damaging me via their triggered abilities each time I casted a spell. Was a ranked mythic match :( . Logs will not upload and they are < 40000kb. Only other nonland permanents in play were hopeless nightmare and monastery swiftspear.

8. Unable to add cards to sideboard

   Unable to create a sideboard for my brawl deck with Karn, the Great Creator on mobile (Android). I get the notification on mobile that Karn allows me to access the board, but it doesn't give me any option to add cards to it or even access it.

9. Quick Draft not detected

   Hello! I'm a very new player, so apologies in advance if this is a known issue/something that will fix itself eventually/not the right place to report it/etc, but I have been having some issues with these beginner quest things that new players get, indicated in the main menu by a blue diamond icon. When you click this icon, it's supposed to take you to the event where you're supposed to complete the quest or otherwise progress it. A week ago from now, one of these beginner quests showed up and told me to "Complete 3 Quick Draft matches". It was still Aetherdrift Quick Draft, and I wanted to play the Final Fantasy Quick Draft, so I waited for it to become available. After Aetherdrift Quick Draft was replaced by Final Fantasy, I used up my Quick Draft token, and played some games. After finishing, the quest had not updated whatsoever. When clicking it, it also brought me to Aetherdrift Quick Draft, even though it wasn't available anymore.
   I tried to cut my losses and sign up for Aetherdrift Quick Draft to at least keep progressing on these quests, but the game would error out when I tried to sign up, as the event had expired.
   I had hoped this issue would eventually resolve itself, but it has not. Now, clicking this quest icon makes nothing happen, when it should send me to the current Quick Draft event.
   Thus, I come here to ask... Is this normal? A known issue that will fix itself after some time? Something that can be fixed?
   Below I have attached two video files. One is of the aforementioned broken Quick Draft quest not functioning, and the other is a recording of another quest similar to this one that DID function. It seemingly replaced the broken Quick Draft quest upon playing unranked. I managed to complete it, and it went back to the Quick Draft one.

   It would be appreciated if I could get some help with this. Thanks in advance.

10. Splash Portal bug

    My opponent played a card on turn 2 that allowed him to manifest dread, which was face down. On turn 3 he played Splash Portal which allowed him to exile the card he had selected for manifest dread and return it to the battlefield, but it allowed him to return it face up without having to pay the cost required by manifest dread. So turn 3 he had 11/11 Darksteel Colossus without paying the mana cost to turn it face up. A bit unfair.

11. FF set reprints do not count as FF cards

    A great deal of difficulty and frustration finding reprint cards from the FF set in MTGA was compounded by the FF Midweek Brawl that I was deck building for, when I realised your game doesn't treat these as cards from that set.

    I was attempting to build a deck for this event using my favourite character, Yuffie, as commander but MTGA sees this as another card and not a FF set card. The card is not banned and she is constructive in the deck but cannot be used as the commander because she is not seen as being part of the FF set.

    Saddening, frustrating and insulting for people who love Final Fantasy and have started playing MTG again (or for the first time), only to find confusion and inconsistency dampening their play aspirations.

    Not being able to use my favourite character because of a jank coding logic really killed my mood to play this week.

    Can we please make sure if we're going to reprint that the card is coded as a legal part of the set both for events and for finding cards when deck building?

12. Random Shuffler

    I was playing Arena today, I play and enjoy the game A LOT. I mean no disrespect by this post I just would like an explanation.

    So I usually just play historic casual matches. But lately (past week or two) Ive been getting into games where the opponent concedes immediately, or they are AFK and the timer forces them to concede. Like 9/10 they would concede before the first card is even played.

    So I decided to try ranked, to see if there was less of that going on.

    (I play life gain mainly. Its a 60 card custom deck with 24 lands and 36 creatures/artifacts/enchantments)

    We start no problems, by mid game we were both at or above 20 life. My opponent plays a “destroy all creatures” sorcery. At this point im thinking “oh well, we both start at 0 again”

    Its my turn now and I draw a 1 mana drop creature. Fine. I play it. Mind you there are only 5 plains under my control. (My highest casting card is 3 mana) I pass turn and my opponent draws a bigger creature (4/4 with a bunch of abilities/triggered abilities) fine. Luck of the draw I guess.

    Its my turn again and I draw a land. I play it.

    Its his turn again and he draws another big creature. Fine. Luck of the draw.

    Except. I drew. And im not exaggerating here. 10 consecutive. Back to back lands.

    I ended up losing because I couldn’t get any creatures out if my 30 total creatures in the deck. And thats fine, cannot win them all, oh well.

    BUT i crunched some numbers and double and triple checked my math. (Even used AI to calculate the same number)

    So in a 60 card deck. Containing 24 lands and 36 “other” cards. The probability of me drawing 10 CONSECUTIVE lands is this

    0.0000022%.

    Gemini (Googles AI) said and I quote “this is an extremely low probability and can almost be categorized as impossible.”

    Ive run into this issue multiple times. As have many of you in sure. I know my friends have.

    You build a deck. with an outstanding land to creature ratio. And you either end up drawing too much land. Or too many creatures.

    And the funny thing is, it usually happens after about 5-6 back to back wins. Its like the more you win, the higher likelihood of your deck being stacked against you.

    I did some digging and tried to see if WOTC had made an announcement regarding their random shuffler and how it determines what you draw. And as you could imagine, theres nothing. I understand why, I was just hoping for at least a “yes, our card shuffler is 100% randomized by a RNG.” Or something along those lines from WOTC. But theres nothing. It almost feels like its one of those “ plausible deniability” situations. Like oh, we never said it was random so no harm done.

    But its people like me, and possibly people like you who are getting screwed by this. Ive been playing Magic a long time. Tabletop and digital. I know how to optimize decks. In table top. I have a life gain deck (similar to my digital deck) that is almost a 90% win chance. Because I have 4 of each creature/enchantment/artifacts that gain life constantly and consistently. I never have this issue.

    I winder if they have a line of code somewhere that stacks the deck against people on a win streak. To keep the other people who may have been losing a bunch, happy.

    Which is a very bad way of going about it IMO. People need to learn from why they are losing instead of just giving up. So encourage that! Stop being so stingy with wildcards? Would that help? Let people not have to grind so dang much for a single rare wildcard? To get a card that will improve their experience 10 fold.

    This “random shuffler” doesn't seem to be random. Im going to take more data and use a very. Very. Large sample size. Its going to take some time but im willing to put in the work.

    Just to be absolutely 100% clear here.

    I will be taking notes and taking data in new notebooks and will IN NO WAY use any scripts or code on my computer. Ive read the terms of services and I know thats a big ol no no. So Ill do it on paper and save the data. Im actually looking forward to this because I like investigating things of this nature. More to come.

14. Acerak Bug

    While playing against Acerak combo, my opponent spammed Acerak without a payoff until they roped out. Not sure what 'auto-pass' does cause I had to infini-tap 'resolve'through two extensions...
    Opponent passes, I take my turn and pass, then they infini-spam Acerak again, but now MY rope burns uncontrollably while I'm spamming 'resolve' because auto-pase does nothing. WTF?

    Fix this please

    i put " Ulamog, the Defiler " from my hand onto to battlefield with "Thran Temporal Gateway" meanwhile my opponent had 3

    My ulamog had 0 counter on it meanwhile he was supposed to have 7

16. Could not select creature to sacrifice

    I could not select my creature to sacrifice it just kept showing the lands it had exiled every time I clicked on it. Also, the cards in my hand always show up lower than they should be. I have to flip my screen every time to make it normal again.

17. Add filters to deck selection for play

    When going into the Decks tab, you can search for decks by various filters, and partial name search, and color - but when going to play a game, you’re given only a list of decks. Please add the same filters to the deck search screen for playing.

18. draw simulator

    A draw simulator located in "Edit Deck" where clicking a button such as "test hand" somewhere would lay out and show a sample starting hand at the top where your card collection is. I know there are odd third-party sites but its about convenience and a quality-of-life buff on the platform which it really needs. I think all small conveniences should be well taken care of and established by the establishment of the game It should have everything that we need to play and to test everything we want to test. Adding a feature like this could also be included to someone who purchase the Mastery Pass as an incentive if you feel the need to "get something in return for it". The people reading this who don't agree to me giving them the idea of "possibly" putting it as an exclusive with the mastery pass, need to understand in today's world there is no company who's going to do something if they are not going to get anything out of it. We haven't seen anything implemented that we asked for in years if they cannot implement something like this which is very basic, very simple quality of life, then they're showing us they don't want us to stick around. WOTC needs to understand every kind of relationship is a two-way street.
