Heist After Mulligan Can Reveal Information That Shouldn't Be Available
In a game, I mulliganed and put 2 cards from my hand on the bottom of my library.
Later in that game, my opponent heisted my library with the ability of Thieving Aven.
The card exiled with heist was one of the cards I put on the bottom during mulligans, and it was shown as revealed to me.
Later, my opponent heisted another card, this time not one I had mulliganed (I discussed with my opponent after the game), and this one was hidden from me, as heisted cards usually are.
The first heisted card shouldn't have been revealed to me, since I had not searched my library (or done anything else to know the positions of cards in my library), and would otherwise have no idea if that card was now gone from its previously known position on the bottom of my library. In a game, I mulliganed and put 2 cards from my hand on the bottom of my library.

Vengeful bloodwitch and Grievous Wound
Opponent had 21 life. Vengeful Bloodwitchs ability triggered, bringing them to 20 life. Shouldn't Grievous Wound have brought them down to 10 life? This was their first time being dealt damage in the turn.

Nerf and buff on Arena
The buffs and nerfs on MTG Arena make absolutely no sense. It’s unclear why, when a card is nerfed for a specific format, that change automatically applies to all the others. If a card is too strong in Standard, you didn't fix the problem by banning it in Pioneer, where it is not an issue at all, or is even barely playable.
It's as if you decided to ban cards in Modern just because they were too powerful in Standard — imagine Fable of the Mirror-Breaker or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse getting banned in Modern just because they dominated Standard a while back. Nobody would find that reasonable, because every format has its own ecosystem, its own power level, and its own unique interactions.
But on Arena, a nerf in Alchemy becomes a universal change, even for players in formats where that card was never a problem. The result is frustrating: decks and players who did nothing wrong end up being punished, and it feels like balance decisions are being made without any real overarching vision.
And on top of that, these balance changes don’t even fix the real problems in the larger formats. Eldrazi is completely warping Historic — and with the new nerfs, it’s only going to get worse — yet nothing is being done about it. Instead of addressing the actual issues, you keep tweaking random cards that have nothing to do with the problem, making the overall experience even more frustrating.
The result? Formats that look “balanced” on paper but are increasingly annoying to play, and a lingering sense that balance decisions are being made without any clear direction or real understanding of how each environment actually works. Why should you ruin continuously everything you touch and at the same time also everything you don't touch?
Please act properly and separate the buffs and nerfs for different formats. The buffs and nerfs on MTG Arena make absolutely no sense. Using card with 2 abilities I use the first ability then instead of the card being available it’s not & I have no access to the 2nd ability
I use a card with 2 abilities ie. does 5 damage on one side is a 4/5 flyer on the other. After I cast the 5 dmg the card vanishes back to my deck instead of graveyard?? Any idea how to fix this??

Hand size not being enforced
Arena isn't enforcing hand size limitations - I just passed my turn with 9 cards in hand and I wasn't forced to discard.

Reflecting Pool is Bugged
My opponent had a Gloomlake Virge and a Reflecting Pool as their only mana sources and used them to cast The Terminus of Return. Gloomlake virge could only produce blue at the time since they did not control an island or swamp, so their Reflecting Pool should have only been able to produce blue mana at that time, but it apparently added the black needed to cast the spell.
According to CR 106.7:
Some abilities produce mana based on the type of mana another permanent or permanents “could
produce.” The type of mana a permanent could produce at any time includes any type of mana that
an ability of that permanent would produce if the ability were to resolve at that time, taking into
account any applicable replacement effects in any possible order. Ignore whether any costs of the
ability could or could not be paid.My opponent had a Gloomlake Virge and a Reflecting Pool as their only mana sources and used them to cast The Terminus of Return. Game Cheating…..or just straight up criminal BS
So it has been an absolute very long time what I’ve been sitting on this and doing about it and really, just honestly trying to move past it. However, I just feel like I’ve reached my final straw. I want to start this by saying I absolutely love the game of magic you’re playing it all the way into my mid 20s and then I kind of lost touch with it until I discovered magic together in Arena and got right into this. Also say that I really do enjoy the arena the game, the card designs and pretty much everything about it except for there’s one, to me at least, . I enjoy doing the drafts whether it’s live or a quick draft or everything like that. I think they’re cool. I need a change of the game and it’s a good way to earn card sets. I’ve been playing this game for about a year straight and again as I said, this didn’t come lately. I’ve come to the conclusion and decision that, I will also say I’ve talked to will that play the game and earn the arena and they agree with me, that either the players involved in the draft in gameplay that you match up against when your deck is finished or to be very blonde you all I wished to the coast or magic itself are cheating, somehow cheating the players cheating consumers, and basically ruining the game. My main reasons for thinking this is number one the amount of opponent deck I played against that not only I set up the exact same way as the other dog, and I’ll point out that if at any point, I try to replicate whatever deck just. Stole money out of my pocket or beat me. It is also impossible to do because you either don’t get the amount of card needed or it just doesn’t happen that way for you. I’ll use the new card that out where I’ve seen the omen path green card once maybe every 5 to 6 drafts that I do on average and only one I don’t think I’ve ever seen two in the same draft however this weekend alone and actually be more specific Sunday. I played four separate decks that had one in them, two of them had two.
The chance is probability or whatever you’d like to say of that being a thing that happens to every other person but not myself for me seems like it’s zero. And then absolute ******** inconsistency of your card drawing out of your deck will I get it earlier? I’ve been playing this game for a long time. I can build a deck. I can look up on the Internet like any other players. Use this app or play Magic that have no skill or understanding or want to play the game to play the game because they don’t have to when they can just look up all these other decks instead of actually learning how the game works so I broken down and done that couple times to build these decks that I see people build in the draft or through the draft or to be in the draft things which I hate absolutely to my core because I didn’t get the trash and not only again like I said it am I unable to do that, but I have on probably three dozen occasions play multiple people with the same exact stupid deck. I have the same exact deck, but yet none of them ever go through land drafts or land drought. I should say whereas at least every other game it seems like I go through a land route. I did not mean for this to be so negative and seem like I’m back in the game because I’ll say again I love magic gathering, but if you expect people to have to pay money to buy diamonds and gems and then do the draft which I love doing, but expect them to put up with what I absolutely only either people cheating somehow or you guys cheating because having spoken with other players, like I said, and knowing how probability and statistics work, they don’t add up you need to review this gameplay and do betterSo it has been an absolute very long time what I’ve been sitting on this and doing about it and really, just honestly trying to move past it. GAME FREEZES ON CAST RANDOMLY
I don’t know why but lately via iOS the game will freeze mid cast. Then it will kick me out of the game forcing me to close and reopen the app only to rejoin and my turn gets passed. This has been happening more frequently. I’ve done the recommended steps to verify game files and even reinstalling the app. I’m on iPhone 16. Sooo frustrating

In-game screen resolution changed to 16:10 on macOS after Tarkir Alchemy update (v2025.48)
With today's update (30 Apr 2025), the very left and right edges of the screen are suddenly getting cropped in macOS, when MTGA is in full-screen mode (I have a MacBook M1 Pro, which has a 3456 x 2234 display). For instance, my graveyard and the companions are now only half visible.
We've historically been able to force a "correct" full-screen resolution by entering a custom launch argument in the Epic Games Launcher (e.g. -screen-fullscreen 1 -screen-width 3456 -screen-height 1944), but this is no longer working.

Marketback Walker Bug
Opponent had Marketback Walker with two +1/+1 counters on it. I have Soul-Scar Mage. I Burst Lightning Marketback Walker, which should have removed the +/1/+1 counters from it because of Soul-Scar Mage, making it die a 0/0 with no counters on it. However, Arena had my opponent draw the cards as if he had two +1/+1 counters.

Instant speed actions should be allowed at upkeep when milled out
I could have won at my upkeep after being milled out during my opponent's turn. The game prevented me from taking instant-speed actions at my upkeep.
My opponent's board state was as follows:
1x Riverchurn Monument
9x Lands (6 tapped; 1x Swamp and 2x Bleachbone Verge untapped)My board state was as follows:
1x Biotech Specialist
1x Golem creature token
2x Weapons Manufacturing
5x Munitions artifact token
2x Lander artifact token
1x Nutrient Block
1x Legion Extruder
6x LandsIn hand I had Torch the Tower and Legion Extruder. My opponent had 5 cards in hand.
My opponent milled me out during their turn by playing and exhausting a Riverchurn Monument. I tapped out to sacrifice a munitions token to Legion Extruder, dealing 2 damage to them directly from the token and another 2 damage from Biotech Specialist, bringing them to 5 life. At this point, I saw the cog in the upper righthand corner of the screen disappear, signaling the game has deemed the game is over and I could not do any instant-speed actions.
However, before my draw step where I would lose the game, I could have sacrificed both Lander tokens and sacrificed a Munitions token to Legion Extruder to do a total of 8 damage to my opponent, allowing me to (presumably) win the game, barring any instant speed life gain my opponent could have had for three mana.
I should not have to press control for this, as it should act similarly to the "Draw" prompt like Sheoldred has. If I'm going to lose at the draw step, but I can still do actions, I should be able to do those actions. Perhaps it could be a special timer since a loss is inevitable if nothing can be done, but it should not skip directly over upkeep when instant-speed actions can change the course of the game.
I was unable to do any of these actions that would have won me the game.

Hexproof not working correctly
I'm playing arena on android. I added instants into my standard deck to give my creatures hexproof and indestructible. This is the 3rd time I have lost a ranked match, or a paid for standard event, because someone tries to destroy my creature, I play an instant to give my creature hexproof and indestructible, and it let's my creature be destroyed. This started a few days ago. I edited my deck to put these different cards in. It was a to counter a specific strategy I'd been losing to. They had been working.
