2. alchemy ruining historic

   I'm really starting to get sick of Alchemy. I've stopped trying to collect alchemy cards and I refuse to play in any alchemy event. Furthermore, I disdain the fact that alchemy cards are able to be used in Historic. You might as well take out Historic. Alchemy is ruining the wonderful Historic format that you once had. I find these alchemy card such as Teferi Time Raveler (that the original was banned) and Undercity Plunder, to name a few unfair, and I'm constantly getting beat by Esper and/or Azorious control decks. I used to have a good Historic deck that I enjoyed playing. But it is amateur compared to these Alchemy decks that ppl are bringing in. I'd like to either see alchemy in it's own format, or get rid of it altogether. I loathe the format, and allowing these cards in Historic, is furthermore making me loathe that too. I've seen other ppl in this forum complain, yet it seems you shed a blind eye and push alchemy on us even more. I would like to see something changed about this otherwise, I may stop playing because it's not fun.

3. Unable to join event

   Attempting to complete the color challenges to get the new starter decks as my current starter decks are not available to play in standard mode. I attempt to play the 5th round (pvp) and receive the alert “network error unable to join event try again later. I have attempted to restart the game and delete the old starter deck of that color without success. Bug is occurring on iOS.

5. Unable to Select Cards From Pack During Draft

   I was recently drafting Neon Dynasty and encountered an error I have not observed before. While drafting pack 2 pick 2, I found that although I had been passed a pack, there were no cards from which I could make a selection. I tried clicking on the table to see where the packs were, however the draft table would not display. I could still open the adjust options menu and change my draft display, however the error selecting a card remained. I quit the application and reopen the program to see that I now had 6 packs waiting for me and that the auto-picker had selected several of my picks. (I've attached a screenshot of the issue). The current cards in the pack were not displayed, however when the timer ran out, I could now see the next pack of cards and continue the draft as normal.

6. Opened pack gave 20 gem reward instead or rare/mythic

   Opened a KHM pack and received 20 gems even while I had numerous missing rares/mythics in this set

7. Not invalid, but invalid deck

   When I try to play standard ranked my Deck is being reported as invalid due to format illegal cards. But then when I hover over the deck before editing it says: 'invalid cards 0'.

8. Duplicate Protection BUG when opening packs in 2022

   It seems there's a problem with Duplicate Protection when opening packs in 2022.

   I opened some packs from different sets, and ended with opening a few Kaldheim packs.

   When I opened the final Kaldheim pack I got 20 Gems according to the Arena GUI and the message I had all Rares for the set, but this is not true as I have NOT got 4 copies of all Kaldheim Rares!

   It made me stop opening any remaining packs...

   The problem occurred between 3/6/2022 10:30 CET and 3/6/2022 10:37 CET.

   I have attatched my Arena log file.

   Can you please let me know if this is just a GUI bug or if the Duplicate Protection doesn't work properly?

   If it's just a GUI bug, then please let me know what Kaldheim Rare I actually received from the last pack I opened.

9. Gems when not all rares collected

   I received gems instead of a Rare/Mythic when I had collected all the cards from that set, knowing there is still one I want - hence why I'm buying that set - and because the second pack I I opened gave me another rare. It clearly says on the gem card that I would have had to have collected all the rares and mythics.

   This is not my screen shot, but it shows the same thing for the gem card.

12. Brawl

    Inconsistencies with the Brawl format.

    Hello everyone, my name is Onnik Islikaplan, and I’m an aspiring content creature. Specifically, my category of content is Tournament Organizer. I’ve been organizing a few tournaments within a Facebook group, and all of the matches are played on Arena. Currently, my next tournament is for the format of Historic Brawl.

    At least, that’s what I’d like to call it. Unfortunately, myself and all 90 of my participants have been experiencing several complications when it comes to practicing for the tournament. The way the tournament will be run is by Direct Challenging each other, but they often get errors about incompatible decks.

    PROBLEM:

    When any player wants to play a game of Historic Brawl, they simply queue up for the format titled “Historic Brawl” with a compatible deck, and the matchmaker does its thing, and the game is set up.

    However, when initiating a Direct Challenge, there is no existing option for “Historic Brawl.” The only option there is, is “Friendly Brawl,” and it seems to play by a different set of rules. After a bit of troubleshooting, this is the difference that I have found:

    Historic Brawl, which is the queueable format, allows for all cards that are Historic legal to be used, with the exception of a banned list. This includes all of the Rebalanced cards that have the Arena symbol “A” in front of the card name.

    Friendly Brawl, which is the Direct Challenge format, does NOT allow the Rebalanced cards to be used at all. Every attempt to issue a challenge to another player will always come up with an error message, stating that all Rebalanced cards are not legal in this version of Brawl.

    To make things further confusing, there are FOUR ways to save your Brawl deck when editing your deck. Brawl, Historic Brawl, Friendly Brawl, and Friendly Brawl Rebalanced.

    SOLUTION:

    The only way two players can send a Direct Challenge to each other and play Brawl of any kind, is to ensure that they do NOT have any Rebalanced cards in their deck. As a result, that gives players two choices.

    1, Replace the card entirely.
    2, Play with the “original” version of the Rebalanced Card.

    The problem with 1 is that certain themes may not even be viable anymore (or a lot less fun/efficient), such as cards that allow you to Venture into the Dungeon.

    The problem with 2 is that if they later decide to play the queueable format of Historic Brawl, they will have to re-modify their deck. Of course the alternative is to have two separate decks saved, one for Historic Brawl, and one for Friendly Brawl, but it seems silly to have two versions of the same deck, just so you can play them.

    Then you may run into another complication, such as Teferi, Time Raveler, which has been rebalanced. In Historic Brawl, this card is now legal for use, but in Friendly Brawl, there is no option at all, and the card MUST be replaced.

    RECOMMENDATION:

    I understand that the initial creation of Brawl had the intent to be played with Standard legal cards, but over time, the popularity of Historic Brawl grew and grew, and now players wish to play that as well. I’d like to request an option to where players can Direct Challenge each other for the format of Brawl, and then the next option, players can choose whether to play Standard Brawl, Historic Brawl, or Friendly Brawl.

    Additionally, when saving the deck and editing the deck details, the option of Friendly Brawl Rebalanced seems obsolete or redundant. I’d suggest to save your deck with the same exact options on how you can direct challenge and queue for the format, which would be Standard Brawl, Historic Brawl, or Friendly Brawl.

    I apologize if parts of this was a bit confusing to read, but unfortunately, my tournament participants found this even more confusing when they were trying to practice with each other. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

14. Hate playing against 250+ card decks

    I think my win percentage against people with 250 card decks is 0%. It feels like 250 ways the AI can rig up answers against my deck. Seriously, come on.

16. Wildcards

    I was opening some packs from Innistrad vow and midnight hunt. i opened 6 packs each and earned 2 mythic wildcards and 2 rare wildcards and they didnt accurately post to my wildcard. attached is the log of what occured. since there is no other way to obtain wildcards other than buying packs I would like to actually receive the wild cards i earned, most especially the rares and mythics

17. Can’t remove cards from deck

    I cannot remove cards from my deck after Alchemy altered them. My deck is invalid until I can remove or replace the altered cards, but it will not allow me to do so

18. Alchemy cards in historic brawl

    1. I made a deck in standard brawl, containing alchemy cards. After changing my deck type to historic brawl, the standard versions of alchemy cards persist but arent legal now. I can add the legal versions to the deck, but i cannot interact with the non-legal ones. 2.I am on PC
    2. Im not able to delete, move or interact at all with the standard versions of alchemy cards after changing deck type from standard brawl to historic brawl
    3. expected result: i should be able to interact with these cards even though they arent legal in the format.

    5. If you found this glitch or bug or whatever, you can make your deck type to 'brawl' again. Here you got your chance to remove the alchemy standard versions. change back to historic brawl and add the modified versions and you're good to go.

19. Standard 2022 too predictable, same cards, same decks, boring boring boring

    Hi. Can´t you design a more predictable standard game? Every game is turn 1 shambling ghast, eye twitch, extra turn, blood in the snow, same boring decks, same cards... I do not play for fun, Ive been forced to play decks to achieve victories to win daily coins. So I do not build decks for my fun, Arena forces/direct a player to a kind of playstyle, so there is no individuality, everyone just playing to win. I like standard because I like new cards, new sets, but you have designing powerful/broken cards that there is no reason not using them. Furthermore, in Arena it is not difficult to get rare or powerful cards, soon or later people converge for the same decks. Besides, colors have lost their own features, at least that is my point of view. I would not recommend someone to try magic, instead trying other card or board games.
