Scute Swarm Gamebreaking
I see no one posted this, but its a bug people are abusing hard even in Play Queue, the combo of making 700 "Scute Swarm" tokens making the opponent timeout or even lag out of the game, instead of the caster being the one timing out, giving free wins by breaking the game, luckily i had ''Peer Into the Abyss + Underworld Dreams'' and a high end PC that left me with 3-5 seconds before timing out and ended up winning even when opponent was spamming emotes thinking he timed me out while game was also lagging hard, this needs a FIX ASAP.
I had to cut the video a lot to try and make it fit here, and i couldn't fit it apparently video evidence is not welcome here, i have the full video of what happened if support needs it, i hope Reddit and Twitter is full of videos reporting this soon. If you are playing this deck you are doing it intentionally to get wins by breaking the game, and this should be punished.

Same Issue. I was waiting for my turn to play and it never came. Client showed opponent using all time outs while Scute Swarm resolved. When it finally came time for my turn it skipped and immediately went back to opponent. Here it shows the cards which are still affected by summoning sickness as attacking.

The same can happen with a combo deck of "Iridescent Horn Beetle", "Renata, Called to the Hunt", "Daxos, Bleesed by the Sun" and "Heliod, Sun-Crowned".
My opponent had seceral hundred events tick throughand it used all of my time outs. He was nice enough to concede, too, even though he'd easily beat me. Still, the time-out shouldn't be used when I do not have the ability to act. -

Recently joined MTG Arena, was not aware of the previous issues with Time Outs. I am unsure if this is a continuation of the same, previously reported issue, or if those issues have been resolved, and this is a re-emergence of the bug.
In the previous Glitch: Scute Swarm Triggers stack up to such an extent that they use up the player's time outs, only to then burn up the opposing player's TOs, and then skip their turn.
Note: I have noticed that with excessive Scute Swarm stacks, they seem to resolve at a faster pace, which I assume was implemented to avoid this issue. The bug that I ran into:
I had a large number of Scute Swarms out, along with an Impassioned Orator. Rather than quickly resolving the Scute Triggers, an Orator Trigger would be added to the stack after each resolution, resolve itself, and then move to the next Scute Trigger. This kept the increased pace of trigger resolution from occuring (I assume, because new triggers were being added to the stack, and because they were not identical trigger resolutions consecutively) - so the pace at which the stack finished was incredibly slow. This did cause my opponent to lose their turn, and I conceded the game after I realized what happened - but I am scared to play the deck any further, for fear of being accused of exploiting a game bug (other than Scute Swarm)

Hello - I came to report the same issue.
In my case, I was playing Scute Swarm, and it was my opponent who lost his timeouts due to my triggers.
(The triggers took particularly long to resolve, as I had a Impassioned Orator in play).
I conceded the game when I saw the glitch cost him his turn, but now I'm scared to play the deck, as I dont want to be accused of exploiting a bug. -

Because of the multiplication of Scute Swarm, I was unable to move as each land entering the battleground would trigger every one Scute Swarm. Then the animation counts up and then counts down as my timers run out. I cannot skip the animation, nor can I pause the timer countdown, or do anything. It cost me a game which I was winning because I cannot do anything and my timers countdown to zero--during an action on my turn!
Not cool all y'all.

Had someone do this to me. Made 500 tokens in my main phase before I could attack (and I had fliers that would have dealt lethal damage). Game timed out through my turn and skipped combat.

There was a lot of enemy triggers in the stack. I pressed resolve all but while processing it was taking my time and not my opponents. Why it consumed my time when the triggers belonged to my opponent. I pressed resolve all. And i lost both my timeouts while waiting 976 triggers to resolve that weren't mine to begin with.
I am using PC.
Reproduce the (what I think is) bug:
All the components of the combo are visible on the screenshot.
My opponent just played a new creature. -

Game timed out

When playing against an opponent in Traditional Standard play who was using Scute Swarm, they had over 100 triggers, and I had no way to interact or respond. They used all of their timeouts, and when they ran out of timeouts, instead of losing or passing the turn, my timeouts got used, and it started ticking down my timer. I lost all of my timeouts and several minutes off of my timer for their triggers to resolve when I had no response and could not do anything. This is incorrect, and they should have lost the game.

Game timed out and forced a draw when my opponent had hundreds of triggers on the stack. I don't think it's broken or needs banning, just fix the bug causing the crash.

Same thing happened to me. I find it utterly ridiculous that I end up forfeiting due to time-outs when my opponent is the one generating the Scute Swarms. I hit Resolve All, what else could I possibly do? If anyone should be hit with time outs it should be the person generating the Scute Swarms, since they always have the choice not to play the land that triggers it.

Had something similar happen just now. Scute Swarm Player did not attack over multiple turns (I had "Revenge of Ravens" out, so a full attach would have killed him) After two rounds of swarming tokens, the game had to resolve a double land drop + life-gain from impassionate Orator.
While resolving the 290+ events it started to consume my timeouts which eventually lost me the match, despite still being on my opponents turn. -

Scute Swarm is causing games to timeout/crash probably due to excessive creation of cards (sometimes 400+). This results in games hanging/timing out and resulting in a draw which elongates play terminally for no benefit or enjoyment.

i loose a game because the user use "scute swarm" slowly 1 by 1 and wait until my time out was 0 and i loose and sometimes my games crash because there is too much clone "scute warm"
please fix that it's a bug abuse

Lost a match because of this. Actually would have been able to win the same turn but it forced my Lotus Cobra to produce all white mana and forced me to end my turn.

This is a processing issue on the server end. The server cannot complete its calculations in the time out time period. Since it is calculating and actually performing a function the time out should never come into effect. You need to change a simple if then type statement that if the game, not the player, is still performing a function, the game should not use a time out, because it is not the players fault.

Scute swarm is broken! Over and over again it is being abused.

Yeah, this needs banned, hard... when you mutate it with Parcelbeast with Lotus Cobra out, you can empty your landfall deck and play everything and have like 100+ combat phases with all your creatures getting untapped at each of those steps with hundreds of thousands of 100+/100+ creatures... as early as turn 5... maybe earlier... either way, once this starts, it can’t really be stopped.
The only thing stopping this from happening in Arena is the fact that the server can’t handle that many objects so the game ends in a draw instead.

My opponent's Scute Swarm timed me out of my own turn even though he casted and triggered it on his turn. FIX THIS! It's ridiculous that my opponent got a free Nexus of Fate by exploiting high numbers of scute swarm triggers, further intentionally abusing the bug to force time outs by running other cards that trigger along with Scute Swarm, he was down to 16 cards and I was playing a Gyruda deck, I had the ability to mill the rest of his deck and win had I gotten to take my turn. Instead my turn timed me out. I don't mind over the top combos, it's why I like magic but exploiting the rope to keep players from taking their turn shouldn't be happening.
