bronze tier 0
saw some other people had this problem but no solutions, stuck at bronze rank 0 and no way to rank up. any updates to this problem?

Having the same issue, asked the Reddit community whom pointed me here. This is incredibly frustrating as I have paid money to buy cards and packs just for the game to not allow me to rank up? If this is not fixed I will dispute all charges made against the game to my CC company and contact BBB about this.

Can officially confirm that their response to the idea of us making new account and them giving us our stuff is "well fuck you and what you've spent the currency on, but we can move the currency you HAVEN'T spent over to the new account" so yeah. you'll get to spend currency you still have, but everything you've built on your accounts is SOL. I've reported them to the BBB to have a mediator hopefully force a response.

So, ive been dealin with this since i downloaded arena (about a month or so ago) and ive summited many tickets about it. No response of any type, except the first one which was some copy paste stuff saying that they AKNOWLEDEGE the problem. Not working. Nothing.
I have reinstalled the game, changing all options in options menu and nothing worked. So today, i decided to create a new account and see what happens. IT WORKS PERFECTLY. I didnt finish the color challenge and Im at bronze IV.
So, i dont know much about programming or resolve issues like that, but if u can simply create a new account with the same username and they somehow transfer ur old collection of cards the problem will be solved or at least remedied.
I will continue playing for abour three weeks more. If nothing happens till then i will switch to another online card game like hearthstone or something like that bc playing without ranked or without the cards you earned or paid is unacceptable. -

just submitted a refund request and will send a note to the Washington state consumer affairs department if this isn't given. This company has something seriously wrong with it if they aren't at least communicating with the community about a serious, game breaking bug that's affecting lots folks -- many of whom have paid for it.

Won about 7-10 games in a row today on Standard Ranked, still Bronze 0, been playing for weeks now and no rank progression. Disappointing seeing so many people with the same bug and no word on upcoming fix.

The amount of time thay has passed and nothing has been done to help the players who cannot play ranked at all due to your pathetic bug is unacceptable. I demand a refund for every pack that I have purchased from your store, just to find out that I can't play any form of ranked play. Your business is such a joke if you don't see this as a problem. I'll take a refund and leave this product.

I have been getting the run around with support on this. We are coming up on the end of a second season in a row where I will not be getting any end of season rewards.
Clearly they do not care about the players that this is affecting with:
no public acknowledgement of the bug
no estimate of when a fix might be coming
no evidence that the issue is even being worked on in the first place
A complete refusal to offer any kind of compensationIt is beyond frustrating getting next to no help at all from WOTC on this. I want to spend more money on this game but what is even the point

Same problem. I am a returning player who downloaded MTGA and played maybe 1 match months ago. I have never reached Mythic rank.

It's no wonder people on reddit are encouraging reporting the company to the WA attorney general -- considering how many people are reporting this issue, for how long it's been reported, and not a single word from them even acknowledging they're TRYING to fix it? That's blatantly not caring that your game is unplayable.

Ah dang...I sent a ticket in and support pretty much told me to go vote on the mythic bug...but I had never made mythic and now I came across this thread with everyone experiencing the same thing.
I unfortunately thought I had to purchase gems or participate in gem only events to rank up (The information wasn't as clear, especially for anyone playing this new). I thought there had to be a threshold level that the account had to have reached to have any further progress and I was losing my mind thinking that I did not read the play options right and choosing the wrong rank formats (Thankfully I wasn't!).
Troubling shooting idea for developers:
The only thing I can contribute based on speculation; whatever it is, that the repo the game client is pulling data from, our affected accounts prob. did not parse out the criteria needed that would match whatever the current client is trying to see when polling for information on our accounts and is causing this bug. Maybe a comparison of all the affected accounts data fields to a few working ones can be put together and then using process of elimination to seek where the "gremlin" causing the bug is hiding out at.
(or multiple site DB's aint syncing and whatever script there is to run the function/logic of rank progression failed to execute. (was there a hardware upgrade?)Upset Customer Rant/Criticism:
This kinda really blows for all of us and especially with all these cool events going on. In understanding that there maybe a shortage of staff, I think that this issue should atleast be more publicly acknowledged (i.e; Application store front/website). I was upset when updates were put out, there wasn't a courtesy link or notice of informing/debriefing what bugs were being addressed and what was fixed (Unless that was the intent and that meant you were forcing people to dig through the sites, which imposes on a user to provide site traffic and additional data harvesting on customers).
This situation isn't reflecting the quality of service WotC seems to put out (in comparison to wpn support) and the level of concern for issues that drastically impacts the user's experience is quite concerning. Especially since new players/customers are going to be spending money possibly.I would appreciate to be cited any information I failed to gather to be more jnderstanding. Maybe I'm just jumping ship too fast or everyone here is as frustrated as I am.

Spoke with customer service, they basically told me to f off and there isn't a problem. Don't expect a positive response and pursue refunds if you can, then make a new account and start again if you aren't too invested.
