How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Grievous wound not working with Bandit's talent

    Grievous wound states :

    “Whenever enchanted player is dealt damage, they lose half their life, rounded up.”

    Bandit's talent states:

    “At the beginning of each opponent’s upkeep, if that player has one or fewer cards in hand, they lose 2 life.”

    Yet when these two effects are concurrent, the grievous wound isn't triggering. This seems like a coding error.

  2. Vayne's Treachery Cannot be Kicked

    Vayne's Treachery is not working as intended.
    Should allow you to sacrifice artifact or creature, this prompt never appears even when there are multiple valid targets.
    Lost multiple Premier Draft matches due to this bug as it only can apply -2/-2 instead of the desired -6/-6.

    Steps to reproduce.
    1. Attack or be attacked.
    2. Play Vayne's Treachery.
    3. Target opponents creature.

  3. intentional stalling

    players stalling ou the game when thye have no hand and no graveyard. stop rewarding slow players who eat at their desktops THAKS!

  4. had someone destroy a land card with a destroy artifact card

    someone use abrade to destroy sand stepped citadel so it said destroy target artifact and the card was a land i rechecked and it was listed as just a land

  5. Detect intrusion

    Unable to target a sorcery with detect intrusion. Nothing on the board to suggest the spell couldn't be countered. Has been an intermittent issue since the release of this card.

  6. Restoration Magic

    Restoration Magic Cure tier for 0 mana plus 1 base cost doesn't have priority. Numerous games versus green or red decks (no "Nowhere to run" on the field or in these decks).

    I hold 1W mana for the base cost of restoration magic - cure tier costs 0 for hexproof/indestructable. Then an opponent casts an instant targeting my creatures (for example green target own creature deals damage to opponent creature, and basic red burn spell for 2-4 damage)

    It doesn't allow me to react, despite having the mana, not pressing spacebar to skip phase and no auto skip on…

  7. Game stops producing tokens

    I'm playing Arena on Windows 11. I was playing a Doppelgang deck, and at one point, I was able to float 102 mana and cast Doppelgang with a value of 30 for X, which allowed me to target everything on the board (all lands, plus a handful of creatures and enchantments). The spell created tokens of (I think) all the lands, but nothing else. The same deck is running Awaken the Woods, and likewise, after that turn, I was not able to create any tokens with ATW, nor did my Restless Anchorage create any Map tokens.

  8. Hand size on mobile

    When you have a very large hand size, like 20 plus cards it is IMPOSSIBLE to play the cards on the far left or far right of your hand. No matter what you do, trying to move cards, or being extremely precise with the touch screen..... It's impossible to select cards when you have too many cards in your hand

  9. Replace Opponent with Sparky on Concede

    When an opponent concedes in MTG Arena, the game ends immediately. This creates two problems. First, it can cause lost quest or daily progress. For example, if my daily is “attack with 45 creatures” and I am about to swing with 30 attackers, a concession robs me of that progress. Second, it removes the payoff of watching my deck finish what it was built to do. In paper Magic, conceding doesn’t erase the board state — it just means your opponent isn’t sitting there anymore.

    My suggestion is that when an opponent concedes, they are replaced by Sparky AI. Sparky…

  10. channel

    I cast Channel then cast Triplicate Titan paying 3 manas and 6 life. My opponent cast Mystic Confluence with modes : draw a card, counter target spell unless you pay 3, counter target spell unless you pay 3. I pay 3 using chaannel for the first mode. I sacrifice a scion token and pay 2 life to pay for the second mode. Then my Triplicate Titan is still countered, and I lose the game two turns later.

    That flashing effect is really annoying and some players actually use it to distract the opponents.
    Please implement the option to not show the highlight.

  12. Griefing/Roping is ruining the game.

    Players roping while losing without being penalized is the second most obnoxious thing in this game after the rigged matchmaking, we're already tired of reporting this abusing behavior, when are you going to do something about it?!

    Not to mention the shuffler is tottaly favoring only **** aggressive decks players and matchmaking is rigged af. You're algorithm clear previously choose the winner of matches before them even start to begin with. 18 loose streak with 3 muligans and begining on second every **** time. And people and you're nonsense keep telling it's just bad luck !? Really!? I've could have won the lottery a thousand times by now with that probability which is obscene to experienced magic players. ***, I've been playing this before the trash Hasbro has even bought your company and

  14. Pauper on arena

    Pauper would be an excellent addition to arena for gameplay, community usage of common wild cards, and for bringing in older sets.

    Pauper is an excellent eternal format that is accessible in paper, provides reliable viability to midrange decks for players who enjoy midrange metas. It would also be endlessly accessible to players on Arena because most players have an abundance of common wildcards.

    Most importantly, it would be an extremely easy format to code into Arena because commons are frequently textless cards or cards with very simple mechanics that already exist in the current arena card…

  16. Magnetic Snuffler + The Aetherspark Don't Resolve correctly

    If you have a copy of "The Aetherspark" in the graveyard and cast "Magnetic Snuffler" from hand, and then use Magnetic Snufflers enter the battlefield effect targeting The Aetherspark, the aetherspark will return to the battlefield but does not attach to the Magnetic Snuffler

    steps to reproduce
    1) have The Aetherspark in the graveyard
    2) Cast Magnetic Snuffler and target The Aetherspark in the graveyard
    3) Magnetic Snuffler and The Aetherspark will both be on the battlefield, but not attached.

  17. Suggestion: Introduce a max deck size of around 100-150 to reflect IRL rules

    In reality, the rule exists "There's no maximum deck size, as long as you can shuffle your deck in your hands unassisted". I see players playing 200+ cards in a deck in Arena. A deck limit of 100-150 would be reasonable given almost no players could physically shuffle more than this. This prevents situations in Arena where people play 300 card 'do nothing' decks that aim to mill the opponent over the course of over 50 draw steps and drag games on for over 30 minutes.

  18. BUG-Arena Powered cube draft, Fatal push stuck on stack

    During a game I attempted to cast fatal push on an attacking birds of paradise, but fatal push became stuck on the stack without allowing me to target. My timeout was used and priority was passed back to the opponent. The fatal push remained stuck on the stack through steps and phases for multiple turns until I cast and resolved another spell. Then I could finally target with the fatal push and resolve it.

    I am using MTGA on Windows 11.

  19. Priority not held? (Game skipped priority over combat after a block without letting me use a spell)

    Where: Avatar Quick Draft.

    Had chump blocked a 6/5 and was going to use a razor rings (deal 4 dmg to target attacking or blocking creature) before end of combat to kill the 6/5 but then game skipped over holding priority and just ended combat not giving me a chance to kill the creature.

  20. Tutorial constructed format text bug

    In the text for new players explaining the various constructed formats there are some card examples that are overlaid on top of the text descriptions of multiple formats making it impossible to read the descriptions of the formats. I am on android, on a Samsung Z Fold 5.
