1. Crashing when entering matches.

   I am playing on Android, and in some matches, just as the game is about to start, as in move from the finding match screen to displaying the avatars of the players, the screen freezes, the audio stutters and then freezes, and finally the game crashes. Attempting to reopen the client has the same result. It is important to note that this does not happen on all matches, but when entering a match causes the client to crash, every time I reload the client and it attempts to rejoin that match it will crash again. This happened in a match for the historic madagame challenge, but I've had it happen in Ranked matches too.

2. Lion's Eye Diamond bug

   Playing the new powered cube. Have resolved Yawgmoth's Will this turn, LED on the battlefield, storm count 5 and Brain Freeze in the graveyard. Have just cast Brain Freeze from hand, and the last copy on the stack resolves. I am completely tapped out. They have 11 cards in deck so, presuming they do not have something that shuffles, I win this turn by cracking LED for blue mana and casting Brain Freeze from my graveyard.

   Instead the turn immediately passes to my opponent, they play a haste creature and kill me.

3. Sparky Observations and Suggestions

   This report contains observations regarding the Sparky bot. I have lost no coins or anything, nor am I bothered by having lost any games because of these observations.

   1. When Affectionate Indrik enters, it immediately battles most powerful creature, when battling another creature would ensure Indrik's survival and actually remove an opponent's creature. Also, it always fights, even when there's nothing to gain from it, resulting in the loss of Indrik but no loss of opponent's creature.
   2. Sparky used a 0/5 wall to block a 3/3 creature instead of 1/3 toxic insect, resulting in the loss of the game that turn. If the 3/3 had got through, the game would have continued.
   3. When blocking, often doubles the blockers even though one would stop all damage, and multiple blockers don't actually kill attacker. And Sparky will often use all her creatures to block a single attacker, thus resulting in the end of the game since other creatures get through without being blocked. At other times, Sparky will not block with one or more of her creatures, resulting in the end of the game.
   4. Sparky will often attack with her creatures even though the total damage to the player is minimal, thus having no creatures to block the player's next attack, resulting in the end of the game. If Sparky had kept back her creatures as blockers, the game would continue.
   5. Last turn of the game and Sparky does not block when she has a creature (or multiple creatures) to do so, thus losing the game without bothering to block when she can. Sparky seems more interested in saving her creatures than blocking enough attacking creatures to keep the game going.
   6. Sparky doesn't seem to take into account "protection against color" and will use multiple creatures to block, the multiple adding up to an amount that would normally kill the attacker.
   7. Sparky does not seem to understand indestructible, meaning Sparky will use multiple defense creatures to try to kill such a creature to no avail, thus causing Sparky to lose creatures she does not need to lose.
   8. Sparky does not seem to understand double-strike, meaning Sparky will defend with enough creatures to kill a non-double-strike creature but not enough to actually kill the attacking creature.
   9. When Sparky is playing Red and is going to use Shock, there is a delay that gives away that fact. After playing my mana, I can click Next to see if Sparky will use it before I play a creature card. If Shock will be used, there is a longer delay than if Shock is not going to be played. (I wonder if black's Compound Fracture works the same way, but I have so far not had an instance when I could detect it.)
   10. Also with Shock, Sparky usually delays using it until the end of the player's turn, even though using it earlier would block many things. Example: Elvish Archdruid is 2/2 and could be stopped with Shock. But because Sparky delays using Shock, Elvish Archdruid can be upped to 3/3 (or higher) using other Elf creatures that give +1/+1.
   11. With Manifest Dread, the face-down card is placed next to other creatures that are the same, which gives away what creature is hidden/face down.
   12. Sparky will always turn over face-down cards, even when doing so makes the creature have less power/defense.
   13. Sometimes Sparky will attack with a 0/* creature (Armored Whirl Turtle), even when it can be destroyed by defenders.
   14. Sparky will frequently attack with creatures that can easily be killed by a single defending creature.

   I can provide images (or maybe video) of some of these if you need to see them.

   SUGGESTION: Create a second "smarter" Sparky bot to play against players who want more of a challenge but do not want to play live players. I for one cannot play other live players, as the minor stress sometimes causes my cardiac fibrillation to start up. (I frankly cannot explain why playing a bot does not cause me stress while playing a live player does, but live players do stress me. I know: weird.) Usually such a fibrillation episode is not bad, but I cannot take that risk, since my fibrillation has ended me up in the hospital twice (but so far not from playing Magic). I very much enjoy playing Magic the Gathering Arena, and I would like more of a challenge by the bot. It seems you could simply make the "rules" that govern Sparky a bit different while still keeping the same decks. Better yet, give Sparky better decks. Maybe even make two more Sparky bots, one that challenges players very strongly and another that plays in between the teaching/beginner Sparky and the super-advanced Sparky.

5. Sideboarding completely skipped after game 1

   Sideboarding was completely skipped after game one.

   We went directly to game 2. I've never seen that happen before. Judging by our respective initial play delays starting game 2, I suspect both of us also experienced the same bug.

   Both games, otherwise, played normally.

   Log file attached. No screenshots as, sadly, there's nothing to screen-shot with this behavior.

6. elixir and timing rules

   Just curious as to why I can't use elixir during my upkeep before draw phase, if elixir is untapped and I have the available mana why was I not given the option to use elixir after my opponent milled my library . It does not say only use as a sorcery . You guys really need to seriously look into the fundamentals of your game. I haven't been playing very long but I have found several cards or issues that go against the basic foundations of the game.

8. Gems without full collection

   I bought 45 packs and opened 48 packs from Through the Omenpaths. I received a single gem even though my set is not complete.

9. Tutorial match 4. When you cast your instant spell you dont recieve token creatures and cant block

   Let a block with all feature might help. Can't complete tutorial. Playing on Android newest version too. When you cast instant spell in match 4 around turn 6 or seven you have to cast an instant spell. Your supposed to 3 1/1 spirit token creatures but you cast the spell and you don't get token creatures. Your tapped but prompted to block. The whole reason for casting the instant as prompted is to create blockers. Please fix I really wanted to play mtg but I can't even get through the tutorial without issues.

10. Blink effect makes opponent freeze

    While playing against y'shiola rhul in limited, the opponent chose to blink Jill, Shiva's Dominant during both end steps. This is during final fantasy premier draft.

    Somehow, all of my 3 timeouts were gone and the game was only responsive visually (like cards moved when dragged), but nothing got played and I was never even given the chance to play cards. It essentially froze me after this blink effect happened for a few turns in a row. This caused me to lose the match. Please fix the bug.

11. Fix your game, PLEASE!

    Dear MTG Arena,
    Fix your game. Top to bottom, and all the way through. I have been subjected to numerous issues with your game, from bugs, to incorrect card interactions, to random unjustified crashes, and so much more. And if it we just me, or even just one of my devices, I'd chalk it up to out of date drivers or something. But it isn't. It's you. And the problems run deeper than just. The game itself is broken many times over, and it's poor product design. I used to love your game, but lately, your decisions have begun to make me regret having ever given you money. As a long time customer of yours, I'd love to have an actual conversation with a real person, but knowing how you typically handle these things, a bot will auto-respond and close my ticket/discussion before any set of real eyes ever evaluates the response; something else your website has done when reporting behavior and bugs.

12. quest timer

    the 1/15 quests for 250xp per 1/15 match completion has a reset timer normally it resets 24 hours now suddenly the timer is set for 148hours! REALLY! 148 HOURS! this is absurd. Now I won't be able to finish my mastery I spend $20 on to unlock for the new set season.
    it was 24 hours now it's saying 148 hours give me break wizards! you're whole algorithm and shuffler is broken enough now the timers are broken...

13. Green Achievements in Starter Deck Duel

    Hi! I've been using the UG deck in starter deck duel to get some of the achievements. I was able to make progress toward (and complete) "Fighting and Biting" just fine. However, in my most recent game, I was able to get a Deepfathom Echo up to 33 +1/+1 counters thanks to Bristly Bill and a patient opponent. I swung with the deepfathom echo, then conceded the game. To my surprise, I did not get the achievement for "Count the Counters" or "No, Bigger Than That" despite meeting both of those requirements. I am on a PC running Arena through Steam.

14. Incorrect rules interraction - Mosborn Hydra + Blanchwood Armor

    Hi,
    When using Mosborn Hydra (landfall double +1 on this creature) with Blanchwood Armor (Equiped creature get x +1 where X is the amount of forest you control) the two don't synergize:
    When doubling the +1 on the hydra it does not take the +1 given by the armor.

    In this case, all +1 should be doubled but the initial +1 can be removed when the armor is detroyed.

    Sorry if I missed a rule, I'm not a referee.

15. Draft Refund Request – Server Crash

    Hello,

    I was playing a Draft event on MTG Arena today around 11:30 AM Paris time. Everything was going well until the servers suddenly crashed, and I was unable to reconnect for a while.

    When I finally managed to log back into the client, I saw that I had been given a loss, which broke my winning streak. This defeat was not due to my play but to the server crash.

    I kindly ask if you could refund my Draft entry as compensation for this inconvenience.

16. Complete three EOE quick draft matches not working

    I completed a quick draft today of the EoE quick draft, going more than 3 matches yet none of the games counted towards the achievement. Seems like a bug.

17. Yuna - Currently bypasses Ward/Hexproof when putting an enchantment into play

    Yuna, Hope of Spira puts an enchantment into play at End Step and targets my Kiora with Ward 3 and then again targets my Koma with Ward 4 the next turn, does not pay the ward cost for either, and still neutralizes my creatures.. this appears to be a bug, given rule 702.21a clearly stating the ability should be countered.. I had a Koma Coil as a viable target, but my opponent was able to bypass the Ward. This should be fixed.

18. lifelink not giving life after dealing damage

    I dealt damage for a couple turns with Adelbert Steiner and his lifelink gave me life as expected. Then one turn afterwards, I attacked and no life was given. There weren't any cards in play that would have negated lifelink. Screenshot shows the board with all cards that were in play when lifelink didn't grant life (screenshot was taken the turn after mine after losing the game).

    I would expect Steiner's lifeline to grant 5 life in this case after damage was dealt.

19. YOUR SHUFFLE IS TRASH

    I play a top 500 mythic account and draw this second game for my first 2 hands. I had to mulligan to five!!! This should not happen!! Do you favor these players??? This isn't acceptable. I'm sure they had perfect hands both games.

20. Unfair game breaking combo

    This combo is game breaking and completely ruins the game. Ban the cards for use. It's a ridiculously easy exploit and I would hope this is not what the game has turned into.
