1. Midweek Magic Event is a scam

   How come every opponent seems to have perfect cards that all go together and they get them in such succession no matter what I play or what I do, I just get completely destroyed every single time. It's impossible to win midweek magic event *. It's such a scam and garbage like we should all be picking from exactly the same carts. Otherwise it's just not fair any way, shape or form. I'm so tired of this *. Like these people are supposed to be drafting cards. Not picking the best cards that all go together perfectly every single game. What a joke

2. Format Care Arena: Alchemy, Historic and Timless

   Formats on Arena have serious problems. That's because, since a lot of players play every day an enormous number of matches, metas revolve very quickly. An online game should have ban, rebalancing, and sban every month at least, but every two weeks possibly. On the contrary, now formats are completely lost and left to themselves.

   I will now talk about the arena-only formats. Also, Standard has problems, but you already know (you should have acted sooner, also in this case). But let me say that Omniscience is completely wrong and should be banned because every time you ban a card around it, people just try other ways to ruin the format.

   Alchemy: Also here, Omniscience should be BANNED. Simply. Any nerf should not be good. Any combo deck built around this card is simply a format ruiner, because matches are extremely boring in every case.

   Historic needs to be reformed.
   The game is getting more and more boring every day. In most of the matches, it seems to see opponents play a solitaire game. You don't have any possibilities of interaction with some of the decks now present in the format.
   Especially in Bo1, the most played format in your app, Magic is becoming very boring. Reanimator persist combo is very annoying. Now it consistently closes during the second turn, and it is very difficult (and boring, since the matches are all the same) to play against it, since you should always have the exact answer in the first turn.

   Eldrazi is simply horrible, since I don't understand why only this deck can have such synergies that completely prevent opponents from playing. Destroying opponents' lands without the possibility of having a land back and without any drawback for the Eldrazi player is horrible in a format like Historic, also because every other strong way to interact with opponent lands is banned. And also, Eldrazi is the only deck that has two ramp lands specifically made for the deck. Why should any other deck have the same possibility?

   That's why the format is becoming a solitaire card game, and why playing Magic: The Gathering has never been so boring and even frustrating, to the point that I prefer playing other games, and it happens frequently that I shut the app, passing to other, more passionate games, such as a real solitaire. Game experience is no longer the same as before.

   Timeless is simply unplayable, since it needs way more cards to be even considered as a nice and interesting format. You have already added some cards, but this is not sufficient. And also in this case, you have to rebalance the format faster and to act with haste when a problematic deck presents, because the problems in this format emerge very fast, and the format is not old and rich enough to reduce the influence of bad cards.

   In a simple sentence, you have to care for the formats. Now we, as a community of players, feel completely lost.

3. kick time cheaters out

   how can you take a good game and turn it to complete sh** you fake wizard losers. you wonder why you get so much hate? because you moron idiots don't take any suggestions from the players.

   there are of tons of cheaters who purposely play slowly and waste people's time. it's total bullsh** garbage.

   reduce the timer to 15 seconds or make a PRO STANDARD RANKED QUEUE. where the timer is set to 15 seconds or at most 30 seconds. for players who know how to play and don't need their time wasted by idiots and morons.

4. Review Consolidation

   I was facing an issue with MTGA's tutorial showing up after having completed the spark tutorials a couple years ago, I come here to find if anyone has a fix for it, and there are probably a hundred people facing the same issue, with half voting on one comment, and the other half making their own comment. I am guessing that a lot of people face the issue, and I am surprised there is not only no solution as far as I can see, but that there isn't an faq page or something for these.

6. Dreams of Lagnua - Bug

   PLEASE look into your auto passing system. This is yet again another instance where the client auto passed even though I had available mana and an instant spell to play. In my game that ended at 2025-12-24 23:36 PST, on my opponent's turn 3, they cast an Instant Ramen which I let resolve, but when they drew the card, the turn auto passed, skipping through combat and the end step, directly to my turn. I was not given an opportunity to cast my Dreams of Lagnua which was a legal and valid play.

7. Ranked Matchmaking

   here comes another complain about your completely rigged matchmaking (I know you get those a lot and that's why you should probably implement changes, right? RIGHT?).

   So first let's talk about ranked: Why is it, that every time I build a new deck, I suddenly get match-ups that are clearly responses to that new decks game plan or mechanics?

   Matchmaking, in ranked play specifically, should just be getting a random opponent from within the same tier, without any additional filtering or manipulation. That' what would be fair. Everything else is not.

   When we are not talking about ranked, you can use some other metrics like for example the players total card pool for the individual format or overall win rating. But you should never ever base matchmaking around the decks themselves. So why is this a thing? Whom does this help and how is it more fun?

8. Mana flooding and time out.

   1) I shouldn’t get Mana flooded in a deck with 20 lands in it 4 to 5 matches in a row! On Ranked or Non Ranked then what exactly am I being ranked on my luck?
   2) I shouldn’t be getting ZERO mana in a deck with 24 lands and mana Excel! On ranked or any mode.
   3) I shouldn’t have to wait for my opponent to completely time out to win a match!
   4) Having a full time job means I can only get about 30 minutes to play at most a day I shouldn’t have to lose all that time in 1
   match! There should be a mode with shorter turn timers!
   5) I shouldn’t have to be penalized for accepting my defeat and put into a longer queue waiting time. Even though it’s obvious, I’ve lost.

   However, in-game, the actual effect does something completely different: it exiles all attacking creatures instead of artifacts.
   Steps to reproduce the bug:

   Play Angel of the Dread Hour from your hand.
   The card should exile all artifacts.

   This does not match the card’s text and seems to be a major bug. Could you please confirm if this is an error in the card’s effect or if the text itself is outdated?

10. Bug with the Collection Tracker

    4 Rare and 2 Mythics are not possible to find in the Packs and figure as not part of the Expansion in the Profile. As you can see it figure like i've the complete collection still if i've not collected theese 6 cards in 4x, i confirm that the 1x of theese cards are made with crafting and not found in the packs. Maybe is becouse in the collection we can see that the goal is 240 Rare and 80 Mythics ( 60 1x and 20 1x) but Bloomburrow have 64 Rare ( so 256 4x) and 22 Mythics (so 88 4x) and probably is thats why 4 rares and 2 mythics fall out the count. (The numbers are the same of Outlaws Of Thunder Junction so maybe when they copy the script just missunderstand to fix the numbers...)

11. Unplayable, cards keep stacking on side of screen

    Playing on android, Google pixel 9. I can't even get through the tutorial stage. As the game progresses and spells are cast they begin stacking up on the side of the screen instead of being placed on the table correctly. When this happens it becomes impossible to use the creatures I've summoned. I am unable to select creatures for attacking, blocking, enchanting as the enemy creatures summoned have been stacked on top of them and prevents me from using my own creatures in any way. On top of that, lands when played end up floating on screen and stay in the same location where they are dropped when dragged to the board from your hand. The report a bug button also seemed to do nothing when pressed. I force closed the game and restarted the tutorial match several times and it does not fix the issue. I even tried to repair game files to no avail, as it had no affect on the outcome of this issue. It's completely unplayable. I literally downloaded this game 30 minutes ago and already the issues are "stacking up". It's a disappointing let down because I was going to play with my 9 year old daughter we named Liliana after Liliana Vess.

12. Suggestion: Ranking System and/or Indication for Different Skill Levels

    This is coming from a completely new mtg player (started last week of May 2025), and I would like suggestion some way to match players based on skill/comfort level. I understand Starter Deck and Jump In is meant to even the playing field between new players and veterans, but it's still very obvious that it doesn't help. The Suggestion is this: players on Arena choose a level, for example Novice/Beginner, Intermediate, or Veteran, then create a settings for matches that you can choose to play with others of the same skill or all skill levels or two of them etc. There are obviously veteran players tacking advantage of Jump In/Starter Decks to grind or other reason, and being matched with them makes MTG Arena a miserable experience that it becomes a hostile and unfriendly experience with taunting through the emotes or "roping" or destroy every card while building an unnecessary wall of combos that is so large that it causes severe lagging. The skill level choices will allow players who are into a casual game or entirely f2p or brand new enjoy themselves without being hounded by aggro players. Please consider setting up some kind of system to make MTG Arena more enjoyable.

14. Bug involving Warp (Blade of the Swarm/Tannuk)

    I play on a Mac.

    I lost a game because of a bug:

    It involves the Card Blade of the Swarm, which let's me put a card exiled with warp under it's owners library.

    Except I couldn't choose that option when the card was exiled with Tannuk by my opponent. I am pretty sure i would have won the game otherwise. The bug cost me 750 Gems because it was the game between 2 and 3 wins.

15. Experiencing "Shadow cards" for an unknown reason involving Sheltered by Ghosts

    I have no idea what really caused the bug so here is the situation:

    I was playing Simic Eldrazi in the Historic Metagame Challenge (bo3) against Boros Auras. I had an Ugin, Eye of the Storms on the battlefield and passed the turn to my opponent. They cast (or tutored with Light-Paws, can't remember) Sheltered by Ghosts and exile Ugin. Nothing strange so far. A turn or two later I attempt to look at the pile of auras under Light-Paws, considering bouncing their Sheltered with my Ugin's Binding. Except when I click on the pile, all cards are invisible and I am seemingly unable to interact with them. I eventually succeed in bouncing Sheltered by Ghosts (which stays invisible) but my Ugin seemingly doesn't return to the battlefield. I check my exile zone, and notice that the card is invisible, but clearly still appears to be there, as the other visible cards do not appear centered on screen.
    I cannot win without Ugin so I concede and proceed to sideboard. Unfortunately I did not take any screenshots for this first game, but I do have some for the next game.

    In the second game, things get even weirder. I immediately notice that my seven-card opening hand has 2 clear gaps in it. I'll call this phenomenon "shadow cards". So I have two shadow cards, and so does my opponent for some reason, but I keep the hand anyway and start playing to avoid timing out. I quicky notice that the shadow cards are not actually gone, as I can see what seems to be a Mind stone glowing in the middle of my deck as if I can cast it, which I attempt to do without success. Moreover, not only cards, but also triggers seem to randomly become invisible, as shown in the case of Esper Sentinel's trigger, where we can see that the trigger animation seems to stay stuck above the card without being able to reach the stack. At that point I restart Arena during my opponent's turn to see if it resolves the issues, but I can't get back into the game and get stuck on the bugged "description description description" waiting screen for over a minute, before getting the "Defeat" notification, presumably for timing out.

    This is the first time that such a bug happened to me, so I think it's worth mentioning that I was simultaneously on a WhatsApp video call on my Windows PC, regularly switching between the embedded image view and the regular app window, which I don't usually do.

    I have no idea what really caused the bug so here is the situation:

    Suggestion. Add more modes to dircet challenging, like a 2v2 or a free for all with 3-4 players, that way you can play with multiple friends at once.

17. Play-in connection

    While I was challenging in the play-in, I lost twice in a row in the arena due to disconnects. There were no particular issues with the internet connection.

18. Nerf and buff on Arena

    The buffs and nerfs on MTG Arena make absolutely no sense. It’s unclear why, when a card is nerfed for a specific format, that change automatically applies to all the others. If a card is too strong in Standard, you didn't fix the problem by banning it in Pioneer, where it is not an issue at all, or is even barely playable.
    It's as if you decided to ban cards in Modern just because they were too powerful in Standard — imagine Fable of the Mirror-Breaker or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse getting banned in Modern just because they dominated Standard a while back. Nobody would find that reasonable, because every format has its own ecosystem, its own power level, and its own unique interactions.
    But on Arena, a nerf in Alchemy becomes a universal change, even for players in formats where that card was never a problem. The result is frustrating: decks and players who did nothing wrong end up being punished, and it feels like balance decisions are being made without any real overarching vision.
    And on top of that, these balance changes don’t even fix the real problems in the larger formats. Eldrazi is completely warping Historic — and with the new nerfs, it’s only going to get worse — yet nothing is being done about it. Instead of addressing the actual issues, you keep tweaking random cards that have nothing to do with the problem, making the overall experience even more frustrating.
    The result? Formats that look “balanced” on paper but are increasingly annoying to play, and a lingering sense that balance decisions are being made without any clear direction or real understanding of how each environment actually works.

    Why should you ruin continuously everything you touch and at the same time also everything you don't touch?
    Please act properly and separate the buffs and nerfs for different formats.

19. Stop Rewarding Trolls

    MTGA rewards and encourages timer trolling in a number of ways I will detail here.

    • Lack of a chat means complete anonymity and a lack of social pressure against trolling. There is no way to socially punish trolls or discourage trolls through community action in chats. You may have removed chats to stop abuse, but the truth is you've stopped social pressure against abuse

    • Lack of a report feature within the app means that players also can't effectively get WOTC attention on the issue. Hiding the ability to report a player behind the bug reports, and putting that bug report feature somewhere other than in MTGA itself means that you're effectively hiding the report feature from players who need it, protecting the trolls. It doesn't help that the bug report itself is buggy, as I had no intention of posting this here, but it won't let me submit a traditional bug report so here I am

    • Players have no recourse against trolls that doesn't give them exactly what they want. Players are either stuck sitting there through the trolling having a terrible play experience, or forced to concede and allow the troll to win. Players are literally being turned into a captive audience for the trolls by WOTC. You are delivering them victims on a silver platter and then taking away any method the victim has to fight back.

    In short, WOTC is actively on the side of the trolls. Your game is designed to reward trolls. Your game is designed to subject players to trolls without anything they can do about it. And your game is designed in such a way that we can't even easily and effectively report trolls. And thus your game is full of trolls and the play experience is excruciating.

20. Death By Vanilla Not Unlocking

    Achievement isn't unlocking. The arena support Twitter account said the problem was fixed but obviously it isn't. Please fix this so we can be free of these ridiculous challenges
