How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  2. Trample and Serra's Emissary creates hard lock

    Trample and Serra's Emissary creates hard lock

    I had a creature with trample (from Shadow Spear), attacking someone with Serra's Emissary with protection from creatures declared. Serra's Emissary blocks my creature with trample. When I try to assign damage, it tells me 0 for both the blocking creature and the player, which causes me to not be able to click/tap "Done". I'm now hard-locked out of the game.

  3. -1/-1 counters not doubling

    1. Be in a battle
    2. Cast [[Loading Zone]] or [[Doubling Season]]
    3. Summon [[Obelisk Spider]] or [[Skitheryx, the Blight Dragon]]
    4. Do combat damage to opponent’s creature.

    Alternate
    2. Summon [[Festering Mummy]]
    3. Defend against enemy attack & die
    4. Target enemy creature

    What happens: It only adds the regular number of -1/-1 counters.
    What I expect to happen: It should add twice that many -1/-1 counters.

    Same is true for [[Splendid Agony]] with a doubler in play.

    Platform: iOS

    No workaround I’ve found yet.

  4. Ranked Brawl/(5 deck pool to choose from for a battle)

    I was thinking about having a like a wheel of fortune but then with decks, so each player chooses from their 5 decks they think they are the strongest, put them in the wheel, where the arrow of the wheel lands that deck will you play with, this would then also be a battle of 3 times just like standard ranked matches. but each match will be a different deck. So you as a player have think about a different strategy at those moments against your opponent. Then the other suggestion is about brawl.

  5. mystic reflection

    A player cast their commander, Kefka, Court Mage. I had Mystic Reflection in hand, but I wasn’t given the opportunity to respond to the Kefka spell. I should have been able to cast Mystic Reflection so that Kefka would enter as another creature, but that didn’t happen. It’s worth noting that there were no cards on the battlefield preventing me from casting instants or stopping me from doing so.

  6. Continuous Bug Metagame Challenge

    I'm here to report continuous bugs in the metagame challenge, one above all is the sideboard bug! When I have to do the sideboarding process, the card screen goes blank and I can't read the quantity of cards present, this leads to a side board management problem and consequent impossibility of playing correctly!

  8. Dack Fayden -2 ability does not work on equipped Umezawa’s Jitte with counters

    Hello,

    I encountered a bug involving Dack Fayden’s -2 loyalty ability (“Gain control of target artifact”). The ability failed to take control of an Umezawa’s Jitte that was currently equipped to a creature and had two charge counters on it.

    Expected Behavior:
    Activating Dack Fayden’s -2 should allow me to gain control of the targeted artifact (Umezawa’s Jitte), regardless of whether it is equipped or has counters.

    Actual Behavior:
    When I targeted the equipped Umezawa’s Jitte with Dack Fayden’s -2 ability, nothing happened — control was not transferred, and the ability resolved with no effect.

  9. Drawing issues with 11 land drawed in a row over 22 lands .....

    1 game on 4 I have this issue of over drawing lands in a deck with very few lands in it.

    Getting half my lands in a row is just not something that happened that often in real life, so please change your deck shuffle algorithm, it's really bad right now.
    I will keep adding screens and examples until this issues is fixed or if I'm too much anoyed by it and stop the game anyway it is a big default of the game and really ruining the game experience that real magic player could have

  10. Product Suggestion

    More options in deck building. Like being able to create your own subcategories, such as putting all of your cards together that destroyed Target artifact no matter the color. Obviously more options than just one or two. And then the option to test your deck against the bot and be able to pick the parameters such as the deck style that the bots going to play with. So if I'm trying to build a standard deck the bots can play with standard rule deck.

  11. Hexproof from Octopus Form did not trigger

    The Hexproof from Octopus form didnt trigger in my game when the enemy copied the usage of my Heartless Act I played.
    So I played Heartless Act, they played a red card that allows them to choose a new target for the ability, so on the stack I used Octopus Form to give Hexproof to my only creature, and then they were still able to effect and kill my creature which cost me the game in my best of 3 draft. Cool waste of money. Thanks WOTC.

  12. Missing edge of eternities packs and renewal

    due to the huge player surge at the time of release on Arena I was experiencing a lot of lag and failed to get the first half of my Renewal Egg bonus. I relaunched the client a few times afterwards and failed to connect to servers multiple times, but eventually was about to access the shop and my pack. I was opening pack individually and experiencing large spikes in latency while trying to sift through my pulls. Eventually I decided to start opening them 10 at a time to expedite the process, but with my last 10 packs the client…

  13. Rope while taking game actions

    Why am i getting roped because my turn is taking time off MY chess clock in game. I'm aware you would like the game to proceed, but if I'm clicking as best I can through your barley above average UI and trying to move through all the game actions I'm doing, I shouldn't get roped for progressing the game state.

    For reference I am playing UR Lotus Field combo,a Tier 1 deck in the competitive meta game and can't use your client for practice games because my final turn can take several minutes. I'm already playing against a chess clock…

  14. Fix/balance 1st v 2nd in Bo1

    For the love of all that is holy; can you please put in more effort to balancing the 1st v 2nd winrates in Bo1? It is nightmarish right now. The last stat I saw regarding winrates had the player going second at about 40% - but that was back from about 2020, and it feels so much worse right now (definitely feels sub-40%). The loss in tempo is absolutely backbreaking, and the fact that you get a >60% winrate when going first means nothing when the going-second experience is so miserable.

    Obviously there's no easy fix, but the devs need…

  15. Hire personal to control Arena formats

    Please, don't leave formats alone, as you are doing right now. Hire people to control formats on Arena. An online game should have ban, rebalancing, and sban every month at least. On the contrary, now formats are completely lost and left to themselves. All the money you have earned from UB should you be permitted to do that. Please invest money not only in fancy alternative print of cards, but also in customer and player care. Fidelizing players and buyers is as important as bringing new people to the game.

  16. Bugging out game

    Game bugs out and then catches up after I play anying or interact with anything. It makes the game unplayable and must be irritating for the other player (waiting) it is for me. (ANDROID).
    The saga animations continually repeat even after it start of turn trigger.

    Not sure if its the game being buggy or the recent Android update causing the game to bug (although was fine before the most recent client update.)

  17. draw queue music bug

    Whenever the match-making queue expires and both players get a "Draw" match, the background music becomes a blend of prior music and the current playmat's music.

    This has not been fixed in at least a year. C'mon folks.

  18. Yera and Oski, Weaver and Guide Breaks game / Simulacrum Synthesizer tokens are exiled for no reason

    I have 2 bugs to report that have been replicated more than once, both of which make me lose games, one of them being unavoidable.

    Yera and Oski, Weaver and Guide, if exiled under something like sheltered by ghosts or Banishing light, when is returned to the battlefield by either bouncing the enchantement to hand or kill the creature holding the aura, it shows the screen to select the non-creature type but without any option to select, it results in automatic loss since you burn all the time until you are flagged as AFK. This incident happened at least 4…

  19. Unstoppable Slasher

    Unstoppable slasher went to the grave and didn't return to the field. It was killed on the battlefield but it didn't return to the field with stun counters or anything. It was killed with 2 artifact cards that deal 2 damage to any target and can be sacrificed for a 3/3 not sure exactly the name. It should've return to the battlefield with 2 stun counters but unfortunately it didn't on the arena app. As it reads should've happened but nothing triggered other than dying.

  20. Mulligan smoothing does not properly account for 'X' CMC cards

    I'm aware that Arena has a 'smoothing' algorithm designed to reduce the chance of mulligans by giving players a better chance to have a starting hand containing the nearest number of lands to their CMC, but I've noticed that this doesn't properly account for 'X' CMC cards.
