How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Didn't climb rank

    I played three games and won and didn't rank up. The first game my opponent mulliganed and apparently conceded. The second game apparently my opponent timed out, but that could have also been a bug that should have resulted in a draw, it's impossible for me to say. The third match, however, were two fully played games that I won. Still, for neither of these cases, I didn't climb a single step.

  2. ERROR in Historic Brawl Deck Eligibility

    After the most recent update (12/8?), Arena is NOT IDENTIFYING BANNED CARDS CORRECTLY, resulting in a disqualification of many of my brawl decks for Historic Brawl play.

    It looks like the problem is that any card which has been banned, even in a specific brawl event, is banned in Historic Brawl.

    Example: I can't play any brawl deck that includes [Faceless Haven], because it was banned in some event format. When I hover, I see that this card was banned in:
    1. Historic Shakeup: Week 2
    2. Historic Shakeup: Week 3

    About half my brawl decks now have this issue.

  3. plantage au moment de jouer decembre 2021

    J'utilise un PC avec Windows 10
    Depuis la dernière mise à jour, cette semaine de décembre 2021, impossible de lancer une partie.
    La site se lance correctement, mais dès que je clique sur "jouer", ça plante. Puis vient le message de Windows indiquant le plantage du jeu.
    Est-ce un défaut de la mise à jour?

  4. alchemy

    As someone who has played almost every day for the past year and poured $1700+ into my Standard and Historic collections, the Alchemy changes in Historic make me regret ever playing Arena. Out of 20+ Historic decks only two were playable without swapping for rebalanced Alchemy cards, when they're not even the most broken cards in the format.

    I got into Historic because I was a kitchen table player in paper and wanted a more challenging and interesting format closer to what I was use to without using the unsightly and annoyingly cumbersome MTGO platform. Now I can't even escape…

  5. attach failed to drop other attach

    Unable to Login After Alchemy Update. It comes up with the following error:

    Authentication failed for <username>:
    Attach failed to drop other attach

    I have tried restarting, logging off and back in, uninstalling and installing MTG Arena again. Still the same problem. I also had a Crimson Vow Quick Draft started that will probably expire prior to getting back in and being able to play.

  6. Shuffling

    The update today, 12/9/2021 has had me having 0 lands in hand after multiple mulligans. This is ridiculous. It's to the point where I'm putting down arena. There's no point in playing a game that resembles an EA based strategy. I'd rather go and play some knockoff online before putting anymore time and energy into this. It would be a different story if it was a one off instance, but I have consistently had 0 land hands mulligan in down to 2 before drawing a hand of all lands. Something is amiss and needs to be fixed.

  7. Settle the wilds visual bug

    Bug with Settle the wilds. When the card is played a land card is added to the hand of the player and he cannot play it. Otherwise the card works fine except for this strictly visual bug.

  8. Alternate card styles

    Is this issue being worked? I reported this 2 weeks ago.

    The alternate card styles show in deck builder but not in matches.

    To be clear, its only card styles that the artwork vis different from the original arts on the card. so the styles that have motion but are still the same. art appear to work.

  9. Turn Timer

    Issue #1: Storm decks often cast 20 to 40 spells in one turn when "comboing off" to try and win the game. The Turn Timer is Insufficient to allow the completion of storm decks's win con. In reality, it can take 1 or 2 minutes to finish the combo with a lot of cantrips while clicking as fast as possible.

    Issue #2 Roping sucks! People who have lost the game will use up their remaining time just to troll. No fix to the turn timer can give them more time to troll with.

    Suggestion: 1st reduce the turn timer by…

  10. Blast Zone Bug

    Played Blast Zone as my land for the turn. Activated it to blow up The Ozolith - instead it blew up my 3/2 Reflection token creatures as it seemed to treat the ability as 0 cost permanents instead.

    Included an image of Blast Zone in the GY and The Ozolith still on the board.

  11. Icebreaker Kraken bug vs Alrund's Epiphany

    When Icebreaker Kraken's text says that creatures don't untap during that controller's next untap step. Sounds fine. Except that if the opponent casts Alrund's Epiphany during their turn, during their next turn, their creatures still don't untap, therefore skipping a turn which is not what the text says on Icebreaker Kraken.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1- Cast Icebreaker Kraken with Player 1
    2- During Player 2, - Player's 2 creatures don't untap as intended.
    3- Have player 3 cast Alrund's Epiphany
    4- Notice that during Player 2's second turns, creatures STILL aren't untapped, which they should.

  12. Reckless Impulse doesn’t let you cast instants

    I cast Reckless Impulse and flipped over a land and Sure Strike. I attacked with both my creatures and went to blockers. My opponent opted not to block, which should have allowed me to cast Sure Strike and give one of my creatures +3/0 and enough damage to hit them for 10, their life total, and give me the victory. Instead the game skipped that phase and left me with no blockers and I lost.

  13. ランク戦で勝利しましたが、ランクの点灯がありませんでした。

    マッチランク戦ヒストリックにおいて、相手が第一ゲームを先勝した後、第二ゲームで時間切れとなりました。
    こちらの勝利と表示されましたが、ランク点灯に変動はありませんでした。ダイヤモンドランク4の点灯なしの状態で始まり、勝利後もダイヤモンドランク4の点灯なしです。

  15. Infrequent bug: click and drag to select causes card to disappear from potential picks

    There is a long-standing bug that causes cards that have been clicked and dragged, but not yet selected to disappear from the card pool for the current drafter EVEN THOUGH NOT YET TAKEN. I have had this happen to me twice in the last week, and have seen it happen to streamers within the last two weeks. There are also longstanding bug listings that describe this same (or similar) problem. Please fix!

    Hallo liebes MTG Team ich habe das Problem das ich bei den Farbherrausforderungen nicht vollenden kann weil immer ein Fehler kommt:
    Netzwerkfehler Teilnahme am Event nicht möglich.Versuche es Später erneut.

    Das Problem habe ich jetzt seit 1/4 Jahr... bitte um behebung... habe sonst keine Quests die ich mir da holen kann.

  17. Please don't rebalance paper cards in Historic/Hist Brawl

    I genuinely can't keep track of what evey card does anymore, they're coming at such a clip. Please don't have me try and remember which cards with the same name and art as a paper cards function different in your eternal digital format. Making an alternate standard with weird cards is whatever. Ruining formats because you want to patch cards that weren't playtested well enough is another. You shouldn't patch paper cards. Ban them if they're really a problem. Their design is done and finished.

  18. Alchemy

    Please don't "rebalance" existing cards by changing their text. Print new online-only cards that have new names and new art. Don't cause endless confusion for new players between Limited and Historic, Paper and Online, etc. Alrund's Epiphany, which I hate, should always do what it does. If you want to nerf it just print Alrund's Decent Idea and make it do something else. #leavehistoricalone

  19. Please don't have rebalances done for Alchemy affect Historic

    Changes to ban/suspend/rebalance cards in Alchemy should have no impact on the cards in Historic.

    If a card is problematic in historic and you want to re-balance it specifically with that format in mind rather then ban it then I'm fine with that (though not everyone is).

    As a historic player I get excited for the most powerful cards that come out with each standard set since they are the most likely to be playable in historic. But them being powerful also means they are now the most likely cards to be nerfed based on Alchemy power level which dampens…

    First time I’m writing y’all about a complaint. Look I’ve been playing since open beta, and I’d like to kindly ask yall,

    Please don’t rebalance historic cards, for use in historic format.

    I play historic because it’s the closest thing to an eternal format. And errata-ing or rebalancing cards, i would honestly yall rather ban or suspend them.

    Look, i just want the cards i play online to be as close to the ones on paper as possible. I wasn’t happy about the digital only cards in historic but, whatever, it’s okay, i didn’t write in to complain.
