How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Android login/pw auto fill doesnt work

    Option appears for google to auto fill username and password, but the app simply doesn't accept it, and leaves the PW field blank.

  5. Game loss without playing

    Hi,
    I made a premier draft deck. Went to play my first game - I saw my opening hand but was not able to keep or mulligan then it suddenly went black, and after some time the program went back to the draft screen with the option to play a game, but did not register a loss at that stage. Then later I came back to the screen and it registered me a loss for the draft - but I did not play the game, and I was not able to play it. This is unfair that I am not…

  6. Brawl Ranked/Brawl Bot Match

    In my opinion people who like to play just to win should stick to competitive formats. Brawl is my Format of choice and it is really frustrating sometimes to see competitive decks every other match. Having a ranked brawl would make people have more fun in the Casual Brawl because they would actually be able to play the game to play the game and have fun. With so many people copying competitive decks it is hard for the people that just like creating there own decks to see if the decks actually work because you cant do Bot Matches with…

  8. Massive lag

    I've started experiencing constant lag that can not be on my end. My speed is 50+ Mbps with a speed test ping of 20. Every action is taking ages before the game server recognizes that an action needs to take place. I have watched as it take 5 seconds between playing a scry land and the scry actually starting. This has only started in the last few days.

    This is terrible to play and I can only imagine is terrible for my opponent also.

  9. Multiplayer, more battle type and modes, future projects.

    MTGA:

    -Multiplayer battles

    -Planeswalker battles, like in the PS3 game, multiplayer for this too.

    This is a social game, though you cant currently tell.

    I can see this expanding to PS5. It could be come a beast.
    I am currently playing on PC because I havnt seen you on consoles for a while. MISS YOU!!!

    For future projects, please do not ditch the purchases we are making now.

    Id like to keep playing with the old cards (in the future) that I am playing with (and bought) today. Keep the value while increasing through new releases.

  10. scute Swarm costs

    Scute Swarm cause me timeouts even with resolve all. I was playing against a scute swarm and I kept getting charged timeouts. Why would I get charged timeouts because they played scute and it generated 500+ tokens?

  11. black screen while opening the game

    Whenever I click in the MTG icon to open the game, I get a black screen only showing the MTG's mouse cursor. It should open the game normally.

  12. creature still dying with protection

    There have been two instances where I have given one of my creatures protection of a color with Sejiri Shelter, and then blocking a creature of the same color, and my creature still dies through combat damage.

  13. Hacking problem?

    Dear Sirs, During my attack phase I often can't seem to move forward. I click on the "Attack with all" icon but it doesn't send me forward. This happens in particular with a deck I have created that makes the opponent discard cards. This problem is very humiliating because I have to quit the game. It does not seem to me a technical problem but a hacking problem.

  14. Replay Tutorial Locks You in

  15. iPadOS app performance

    Hello! I’ve started playing Magic Arena on iOS and iPadOS and love the new availability. However, the iPadOS app seems to lag behind in terms of performance, which surprises me. On my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the performance of the Arena app is great, with close to 60 FPS performance and few frame drops or awkward moments.

    The iPadOS version however, falls behind. On my 2018 iPad Pro (arguably a better machine than my phone) the app plays in 30 or fewer FPS, scrolling horizontally through a large battlefield has issues, selecting lands from a stack is frustrating, and the…

    I woke up this morning and started playing some MTGA mobile (iOS) and shortly noticed that may of my decks are missing cards. I played some last night, built a new deck, and after playing a game with it went to bed. On reflection I had cards missing then too. Not all my cards were available to build with. Many of the missing cards are from starter decks, but not all the cards will be missing from a single deck, some will be left. Also, some of the decks with missing cards are still playable.   18. Sparky Enhancements -1. Difficulty slider. 2. Deck selection, to include player-created decks

    I like to play against Sparky to tune a deck, or if I want a game faster than online, and there are two items I think would make for a better experience.

    First of all, a difficulty slider for the AI. It's a tad too easy at present.

    Secondly, and more exciting, I would like to be able to have Sparky play using one of my decks, which I would pick at the beginning of the match.

  19. Can’t attack on iOS

    I was in a match between 11:30-11:55 CT on March 27th. Against an opponent who had an Azorious control deck.

    We were deep into the game, 10+ turns. When I tried to attack with a Vampire of the Dire Moon and Varragoth. I also had a Tergrid’s Lantern out. The only option I had was Attack All or No Attack. Didn’t matter how many times I clicked on my creatures. I wanted to just attack with Varragoth. But even when I clicked Attack All, nothing happened.   20. Historic Pauper!

    An Open Letter to WOTC and the MTG Arena team

    Hello!

    I just wanted to write in on behalf of myself and the Historic Pauper community (I'm a moderator in a Historic Pauper Discord server and have been staff/the organizer for approximately half of the Historic Pauper events on MTG Melee) to say that we loved the FNM event. Many of us have played hundreds of games in official MTG Arena events while also playing hundreds (if not thousands) more in player run events or casual matches.

    We are all looking forward to the next Historic Pauper event!
