2. Gingerbread card sleeve style activates under in-game selection screen

   Mobile-only - The New gingerbread card style from the Wilds expansion is active underneath an in-game selection. For example, scry or surveil brings up the card seen with your deck stack (and card sleeve styles) behind, and then you can drag the shown card away if you want. With this card style, you activate the effect when you touch the revealed card, seemingly poking MR Gingerbread Horse THROUGH the shown card. you can then only move the revealed card by selecting the very corner of the card that is not on top of Gingerbread fellow. That is all, a tedious workaround. Please fix.

3. Ranked Exploit. BOT. Playing for Intentional Loss. No human player.

   I have noticed this several times over the last three days but this time I made sure to document it so wizards can address the exploit of the ranking system, ranked play, and how players are matched following the Arena Open’s conclusion, but before the “new season begins.

   I attached as much as I can, but please reach out if you have questions about this particular issue and I will do my best to help with the details.

   The match was played in standard ranked best of three on my account today October 30, 2023 at ~5:50am PST. The sequence is exactly the same all times I’ve come across this issue. The opponent will immediately concede the first of the three matches. Which happens sometimes.

   However, when the bot is playing for opponent every time the second round opponent almost immediately (faster than a human could do it) mulligans down to zero cards. The opponent’s avatar never stops repeating “Your Go.” As in, from the first second of gameplay and lasting until at least 5 minutes after the match has concluded. Opponent plays zero cards. Opponent still however draws and immediately passes turn.

   I was attempting to figure out why any account would do this and I came accross a discussion about how there may be potential to exploit the ranked match up system to benefit players in the next season’s ladder because by losing as many times as possible over the last two/three days of OCTOBER season, the players can trick the matching system into giving them match ups next season which will make it very easy to rise to mythic rank and avoid the status they have obtained by there previous play.

   Normally you would say “Well they will not get advantaged in the current season too.” They do however. After the Arena Open has concluded, there is no incentive for an account to maintain their ranking before the next season and next set of qualifier invites and tournaments begin. There is also little upside to playing and winning games after open but before the following season because the ranking will be reset down teirs no matter what on November 1,2023.

   This created the situation where a bot has been created in order to allow players to lose as many matches as possible, but in a way that the match making system doesn’t recognize as an exploit. The players are not present or in anyway interacting when this occurs. It’s cheating the system into making the next season match making much easier to rise to mythic.

   As you may notice, this also lead to the matches I have witnessed being grossly outweighed in ranking vs the player the account Opponent using to lose. 3 times today I played match against Diamond tier 2 and tier 1 as a player ranked in Platinum tier 3. Those diamond accounts all lost to me and all did the exit same exploit behavior.

   Notably the bot seems incapable or not programmed to quit after matches. The opponent account will just stay after the match concludes indefinitely while repeating “Your Go.”

5. jace mill bug

   Played in a game where opponent instant milled me with jace, instead of milling 18 cards it milled the whole 37. I see celestus kinda jumped before it happened.

6. Cut of the Profits Ashiok interaction

   Hi, I just spent several rare and mythic wildcards crafting a deck oriented around the above interaction. As far as I can see, Ashiok should trigger on casting Cut of the Profits, but it did not in the game I just played. I sacrificed one of my creatures to trigger Casualty 3 in addition to casting the spell for five mana (two black plus five generic). I had sufficient cards in my deck, but I drew five cards and lost five life (x2) instead of losing no life and drawing five cards and exiling five cards (x2). Please can you confirm if I am correct in my reading of the cards and this interaction should have been triggered?

7. How about being able to SELECT arena backgrounds?

   Hey Wzs!

   So, I have been waiting for sets rotation since last year to be able to play historic brawl aka EDH aka Commander with new backgrounds from the last sets (Crimson Vow, Midnight Hunt, Kamigawa, etc.). Yes, because I am already tired of the same low Q backgrounds from historic sets over and over again.

   And finally, after these sets have been rotated in September, still no backgrounds from Kamigawa, Vow, etc. are available in historic? How so? To be able to play your commander on the appropriate background just makes gameplay more pleasurable!

   I have one GREAT idea to suggest - how about you make backgrounds as customizable as avatars or companions? Just like anyone picking a playmate for playing, it's a thoughtful choice that carries along with our own unique ideas of playing MAGIC.

8. Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor did not give option to pay life to draw cards

   Opponent had Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor on the battlefield. Opponent had several other creatures as well. Opponent attacked me after killing my last creature, so every creature did combat damage to me (my life was >20 before the attack, then around 13 after). Gix's triggered ability to let me pay life to draw a card went on the stack once for ever creature that damaged me.
   Then -- this is the bug -- the triggers just vanished, w/out giving me the option to pay life. (I had life to spend, and no cards in hand, but plenty of untapped mana, so this could have saved me.) Having no other option, I conceded.
   (Note: earlier in the game, I noticed I could not send emotes. When I clicked on my avatar, I just saw an empty black speech bubble. Other than this, nothing else seemed wrong.)
   
   I am planning on a Windows laptop (but you knew that).

9. Spellscorn Coven adventure doesnt work off color

   I was playing a green black deck and tried to cast the adventure of Spellscorn Coven using Rootrider Fauns ability to add one mana of any color. I had lots of excess mana, and I taped the Faun for blue. After many tries, I couldn't cast the Coven adventure. On Android phone.

10. Unable to cast WOE set instants

    Sometimes, even with available untapped mana, Instants in the WOE set are unable to be cast.

    In this case, I was defending against my opponent's attack, and wanted to use instants to reduce the damage I would receive.

    This does not happen with all instants or during my own turns, and I have not seen it happen with previous sets' cards.

11. Mastery Pass rewards missing for level 70

    Hello,

    I’m the last mastery pass, I got up to level 85. After level 70 there should be a reward for every level of 1 card of rarity uncommon or above. I tried to vote on the same bug but just wanted to make sure I got my rewards so I put in this ticket.

12. Mythos of Illuna copying Whirler Rogue makes the token fight

    I cast Mythos of Illuna targeting my opponent's Whirler Rogue. RG was paid, and the Whirler Rogue was supposed to fight the opponent's Dockside Chef, Instead, one of the thopter tokens created by the Whirler Rogue did the fighting. I did not catch it immediately. The screenshot shows the board state EOT after sacrificing the Whirler Rogue to Prime Speaker Vannifar.

13. Premier Draft MoM- Opponent Conceded, Loss given to me

    Apparently this is common sadly.
    Opponent Conceded at 1 hp During my Combat phase prior to me declaring attackers
    I was given a loss for it. Rewards not claimed yet.

    I'd appreciate the loss removed if possible. A Draft token/refund would more than help.

    jugando bo3 standard imposible de jugar, he perdido la partida yendo 1-0 a mi favor porque en el game 2 las cartas desaparecen, el witness protection que se supone tengo en mi mano está debajo de la tierra del rival, no salen todas las cartas en mi mano, el tough cookie no me genera el token de comida... es un despropósito gigante, así no se puede jugar ni rankear

    Androidに於いて、年明け(恐らくランクの清算後)からアプリが落ちる現象が頻発するようになった。一回の対戦中に二回、三回落ちるのは当たり前で、アプリを再起動して対戦に復帰しても処理落ちが酷い。もう一つ言うとキャッシュの容量も減らすべき。

    Add the 2v2 mode or 1v1v1v1 like it was in Duels of the planeswalkers. In 2013 or 2014. It was fun and I would like to play with my friend vs other two players.

19. Purchased packs contained cards from the wrong set

    This afternoon I purchased 1 wilds of eldraine pack using gold. When I opened the pack; one of the cards it contained was not from WOE (griffin aerie from the set enchanting tales)

    Earlier today I purchased 1 WOE pack using gems, and inside it was the card curiosity from the set enchanting tales

    Yesterday I purchased 2 WOE packs and opened them the same time. They also included several cards not from WOE

    In addition to receiving cards from a different set than I purchased, a large number of the WOE cards cards were showing the "First" label even though I already own at least one copy of every card in the WOE set

20. Lifelink not working with ghalta and mavren

    Anytime ghalta and mavren does damage lifelink doesn’t work. Caused me to lose several matches now
