How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

  1. MTGA Non-Functional after update

    There is literally no function of MTGA that works like it used to on my M1 MacBook Air after the most recent update.

    ****, even clicking on the bug report link to 5 actual minutes to open up this page. What's happened? I'm unable to play matches, look at my decks, or visit the store. Every time I click on any link I just get a spinning wheel and the application hangs.

  2. Incorrect Rules Interaction

    Steps to reproduce:

    Opponent cast Kozilek, the Broken Reality.
    Forced me to manifest cards, which I only had one. I manifest Herigast, Erupting Hellkite
    On my following turn, I went to cast Petrifying Meddler, and I was given the option to Emerge this (even though Herigast was still facedown)

    1. Platform: PC
    2. Was able to emerge Petrifying Meddler
    3. Should not have been able to cast spells with emerge while Herigast is facedown.
    4. See attached.
    5. No workaround, other than just not casting with emerge.

  4. Win/Loss Error on Premier Draft (Bug)

    Hello,
    I just won a match on Premier Draft (I would have been 3-2) and the program logged 3 losses.

    I double checked my game & event history on 17lands. It indicates 3-2 in game history but 3-3 in event history.

    Ideally I'd like to finish the competition with my draft deck. Rgds//Zack

  5. Lost a game due to opponents triggers taking to long resulting in forfeiting my turn

    Lost a game due to opponents triggers taking too long during the combat phase forcing me to forfeit my block...

    Was up against a life gain deck and against the one cat that gets a +1/+1 everytime you gain a life. The trigger occurred when I had to declare blockers however that was forfeit due to time running out because of the opponents triggers, this resulted in a loss due to not being able to block.

    Ps. The creature did not have trample... I would have been able to block and survive.

  8. Mana color filter in deck creation isn't working

    Whenever I go to build a deck on the android app, haven't checked PC, the filter to choose which mana colors you want to focus on doesn't work. I tried to filter only black and green spells and it still showed all colors. I'm still able to create a deck, it's just inconvenient when I'm looking for specific types of cards.

  10. Mercenary’s targeting each other.

    With Thunder Junction mercenaries, it is impossible to target other mercenaries with the +1/+0 ability on mobile.

  11. Bug: Cannot plot spells from exile (e.g. wrenn's resolve)

    I cast Wrenn's Resolve on turn 2 (https://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=607221)

    Wrenn's Resolve states "Exile the top two cards of your library. Until the end of your next turn, you may play those cards." and it exiled Slickshot Show-Off (https://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=655087) and another spell.

    Slickshot has the plot ability. During turn 3 I wanted to plot Slickshot. However, MTG Arena did not give me the option to plot Slickshot like normal; it just cast it. Neither ruling texts on gatherer for either card state that spells can't be plotted from exile.

  12. Snakeskin veil vs. clear shot damage miscalculation

    Opponent attacks with Drover Grizzly. After I declare block with my 2/2 mercenary token (+1/+1 counter) the opponent casts Clear Shot, buffing the Grizzly to 5/3 and targeting my mercenary. In response I cast Snakeskin Veil on the mercenary, canceling Clear Shot's damage and buffing the mercenary to 3/3. Damage resolves, the mercenary dies and the Grizzly lives with only 2 damage taken, whereas both should have died. Happened in OTJ quick draft on PC.

  13. BOSEiJU, WHO ENDURES

    I tried to target utopia sprawl on an opponents forrest with the channel ability of boseiju, who endures. I couldn‘t target the enchantment, or more exactly I couldn‘t click on the displayed arrows next to the forrest.

  17. Forced game to close, sideboard issue in competitive match

    If the game is forced to close and you return to the BO3 I were playing at the time, I will not be able to insert cards from the sideboard that are not in the main deck. during that match.
    I am a mobile version user.

  18. Tasha triggers giving code

    Tasha’s +1 ability triggering is giving the code on screen instead of the actual ability. This happened on iOS after being attacked with a Tasha in play who has used her +1 ability the previous turn.

  19. Blind obedience is bugged

    If you play blind obedience in brawl on pc it taps your creatures as well the card is supposed to make opponent creatures tapped

  20. too much land way too often

    I just had 3 games out of 5 in a quick draft event with the system giving lands like crazy. In one of them I drew 10 lands and 5 non-land cards in a deck with 42 cards (out of them 17 lands), see the attached image. The opening hand had 3 lands, so it looked normal at first.
    And this is happening quite often. I don't play anymore premium draft for this reason. Last time I lost 2 games out of 3 with mana flood.
    I am a game developer myself, so don't try to explain to me that…
