How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  3. Tender Wildguide

    As many other people have posted as well, it seems that the game doesn't recognize Tender Wildguide's abilities. I played a game where I had a 1 mana blue instant in hand, planning on blowing out my opponent's removal spell. When they went to cast it, I never got a prompt or anything about getting priority, and the removal spell resolved.
    The following turns I tried to go into full priority mode to investigate, and it seems like the game doesn't recognize the abilities as being activatable, even though they are. In this state, my turns would stop on every…

  4. Midweek Magic Card Reward Display Bug

    After winning the event: Midweek Magic: Phantom Sealed Faceoff - Midnight Hunt for the first time I should receive a card. The reward however is not displayed and it takes multiple clicks on the "Claim" button to proceed. I can't even confirm whether I have gotten a reward at all.

  5. Bestow

    Bestow placement error has cost me multiple premium drafts. Most recently I was attacked by an unblockable nyxborn hydra. Up voting doesn’t seem to matter.

  6. Quick Draft Quest No Progression

    I decided to spend some of my gold to do the Quick Draft Quest (the blue one) and started a WOE Quick Draft event. After playing 3 matches I went to check on my quest progression, since I didn't get the reward prompt, only to find out that it's still at 0/3. Immensely disappointed as I won't have enough gold this month to do another draft and get the Halloween pet, so I'd have to wait a whole other month to attempt to do this quest again.

  8. Xp mastery

    hello support
    I play magic on Android, and since the alchemy update, I'm not gaining xp, yesterday's missions didn't count and today's missions didn't count towards mastery progression either

  10. Sideboarding after bloomburrow update

    Sideboarding is completely broken after the bloomburrow update(android):

    -I can't add cards from the sideboard while sideboarding. It's only possible if I have a copy of the desired card already un the deck, then I'm able to use the "+/-". (Not 100% replicable)

    -Cards removed from the maindeck don't show up in the sideboard or take roughly a minute to show up after removing from the deck.

    -In the deck editor: The deck stays in the sideboarded state after a bo3 and loses it's sideboard.

  11. Claim button not working

    After a match, where I would claim my prizes, the claim page shows no prize, and pushing the button does nothing. I am still able to open the friends list and rotate the screen, so the app is not frozen, i just can’t proceed by pushing the claim button. The only way to proceed is to close and restart the app. I am on an iPhone SE 2.

  12. Unresponsive sideboarding

    OS: Android
    First Encountered when Bloomburrow released.

    Has happened to me three times today.

    When sideboarding prior to a third match (i.e. the second time sideboarding in a best of three match). All cards in the sideboard area are unresponsive when clicked, and therefore cannot be added to my deck directly. The only way to affect the cards in my deck is to adjust the quantity by interacting with the ui in the area where my deck is shown, which is responsive.

  13. Grenzo, Crooked Jailer and Emrakul, the Promised End not interacting properly. Soft lock!

    While controlling my opponent's turn with the trigger from Emrakul, the Promised End, I cast a Grenzo, Crooked Jailer that was in their hand. The enters trigger from Grenzo went on the stack targeting me, however, I could not control the trigger despite controlling their turn. This locked me out of game actions until I timed out.

  14. Duskmourn release crashing Arena

    This enormous 9 GB update is crashing my computer. I had to restart it 3 times, and by the end, the whole program was glitching out. Uninstalling and redownloading Arena didn't help. Do you people not test these releases with an average computer?

  17. Mutate bug

    I tried to mutate onto my own creature, and an opponent cast invert polarity, and they got heads. But instead of them choosing the order in which the got mutated on-top of they stole my creature and the effects.

  18. MTGA Freezing then Crashing on Mac (Sonoma 14.6.1) after large 9/12 Update

    Successfully updated via Epic store on 9/12 and ever since Client will open but will subsequently freeze and/or crash before entering a queue.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling has not helped and MacOS is fully updated Sonoma 14.6.1

  19. BUG: Mac Client only works in Full Screen mode after KTK update

    If you launch the Mac client in windowed mode (i.e., not in Full Screen mode), you cannot click on anything. Nor can you easily quit the game! (You have to force quit it, e.g., via the Activity Monitor app.)

    The solution is to delete your preferences so that the MTGA client will open in Full Screen mode by default.

    To delete your preferences, open a terminal -- the Terminal app will suffice -- and execute the following commands.

    $ cd ~/Library/Preferences
    $ rm com.wizards.mtga.plist

    You'll have to log back in and reset your client preferences to taste. Just don't uncheck…

  20. Jace Reawakened Ultimate

    Jace Reawakened last ability seem to not be working properly.

    For Jace using his -6 ability, it states until end of turn cast spells will be copied, but as of recently it only seems to work for the first spell and then any spells cast after the first don't get copied.

    Also Tamiyo
    These planeswalkers were both working as intended up until yesterday. as (8/20/24 with the update), they don't seem to be working correctly.
