4 Pioneer-legal cards are incorrectly not playable in Pioneer despite being on Arena
Those cards are Furnace Whelp, Garruk's Packleader, Raise Dead, and Stormfront Pegasus.
- Furnace Whelp is Pioneer-legal via Magic 2015 (M15), and is on Arena via Jumpstart (JMP).
- Garruk's Packleader is Pioneer-legal via Magic 2015 (M15), and is on Arena via Foundations Jumpstart (J25).
- Raise Dead is Pioneer-legal via Welcome Deck 2017 (W17), and is on Arena via the Arena Beginner Set (ANA or ANB).
- Stormfront Pegasus is Pioneer-legal via Welcome Deck 2017 (W17), and is on Arena via Arena Anthology 4 (AA4) under its printing from Magic 2010 (M10).
Interestingly, all four are Pioneer-legal because they were in a non-booster product, with Furnace Whelp and Garruk's Packleader being in the Magic 2015 sample decks, while Raise Dead and Stormfront Pegasus were in the 2017 Welcome Decks. All cards in the Magic 2015 sample decks are legal in any format where the Magic 2015 (M15) main set is legal, and all cards in Welcome Deck 2017 (W17) are legal in any format where Amonkhet (AKH) is legal. I should add that Sphinx of Magosi was in Pioneer Masters (PIO), and its only printings in Pioneer-legal sets are in Welcome Deck 2016 (W16) & Welcome Deck 2017 (W17).
Attached are screenshots showing what happens when you attempt to include those four cards in a Pioneer deck on Arena, as well as a screenshot with the printing in a Pioneer-legal set for each card.
Those cards are Furnace Whelp, Garruk's Packleader, Raise Dead, and Stormfront Pegasus.

Fix Item Exclusivity in Adventurer, Spark, and Planeswalker Bundles to Preserve Arena’s Clean F2P Model
MTG Arena has one of the cleanest free-to-play models in existence. From the first minute, the game teaches a simple, powerful rule:
“If you play, you can earn everything.”
Money only saves time.That rule is Arena’s identity. It’s why the economy feels fair, why progression feels meaningful, and why spending money is optional instead of coerced.
Right now, the only blemish on this nearly perfect system is three bundle-exclusive items:
- Adventurer Bundle
- Spark Bundle
- Planeswalker Bundle
These bundles are the entire issue. Everything else in Arena is earnable. Packs, drafts, even most cosmetics can be acquired without spending a dime. The fact that the problem boils down to just three bundles shows how close the game already is to being legendary in terms of clean design.
Hard paywalls feel “dirty” even if cosmetic
Even cosmetic exclusivity breaks the core rule of earnability. Once something can only be bought, it changes the meaning of spending:
Before: “I paid because I value my time.”
After: “I paid because I wanted something others can’t have.”This introduces status signaling, quiet resentment, and suspicion about future monetization. It’s not a mechanical problem — it’s a vibe problem. It erodes trust, and trust is Arena’s most valuable asset.
The simple solution:
Make these three bundles purchasable with in-game currency, at a high but reasonable price:
- Adventurer Bundle: 30,000 gold
- Spark Bundle: 50,000 gold
- Planeswalker Bundle: 100,000 gold
These could even be an occasional daily deals.
This preserves all the value vectors:
- For free players: everything is earnable; no resentment; no exclusion.
- For paying players: still a fantastic deal; saves weeks of grind; purchases are about convenience and speed, not status.
Nobody who bought the bundles is hurt. They got discounted gems, tokens, and early cosmetics — good deals, not flex purchases. This distinction is exactly what Arena’s model should reinforce.
Why this matters for Arena’s identity/image:
Arena is almost unique in the F2P space:
- Cards are earnable
- Gold and gems are meaningful
- Progression is skill- and time-based, not cash-basedThat’s why the game feels clean. Cosmetic paywalls introduce the kind of identity signaling and FOMO common in predatory mobile games — precisely the things Arena doesn’t need.
Implementing this fix would:
- Strengthen trust
- Solidify the game’s principled economy
- Make Arena a true example of a non-scammy, earnable F2P model
- Preserve the idea that money buys time, not access or status
The game is already 95% there. Fixing these three bundles pushes it over the line. This isn’t about idealism; it’s about finishing what the game already started.
This one small, logical change would be legendary because it would prove that Arena is committed to its non-scammy, earnable F2P model. The online platform for the most important TCG of all time deserves to be free from mobile game BS.

Bug & Failed Combo Interaction
Earthbending land creature do not interact correctly with Leyline Transfomation and Deeproot Pilgrimage. I should be creating a merfolk token whenever I tap my land creatures for mana or attack but nothing happens. Please fix this it literally ruins my deck mechanic.

Bug during draft cant see cards
Drafting Avatar TLA (premier draft) , got into pack2p1 and all of the sudden I dont see the cards anymore.

Add ability to concede entire match in one step
I would like the option to concede a match in a single step on MTG Arena. Currently, in the desktop application, you have to select concede, and then wait for the sideboarding screen to load before you can select concede again. On the mobile app, it is even worse, because you have to wait for your opponent to finish sideboarding, before you can select concede again. When I get tired of playing against decks like Vivi, cauldron or invoke despair or whichever deck is currently dominating standard, I simply wish to allow them to win the match and move on to something different. I would also like the ability to concede during sideboarding, just like on the desktop app, so that if I get part way through side boarding and decide I'm done with the match I can just leave and and go on to a different match

Realizes he lost so instead of conceding he just leaves the game and forces me to Wait through the timer like a big sore loser

On mobile, can't go back to decklist
When I'm playing on my android phone (Pixel 7) if I click on the mana curve to see stats on the deck, there's no way to go back to editing. If I click on the back arrow, it opens the deck name edit box.

Bug
The cards and the decks are black, there aren't ghaphics.

Cant see booster cards during Pack2pick1 onwards
During a MTG premier draft Avatar TLA all of the sudden during Pack2P1 I couldnt see the carda anymore, see attached image.

5枚目以降のカードがデッキに入ってしまっている問題
デッキ編集で数枚カードを削除し、同枚数の別カードを追加windows追加したカードは現れず、追加前に4枚入れていたカードの5枚目を観測ローカルでデッキ編集しようとすると、5枚目を観測したカードを一度減らすと、4枚目を追加できないスクショはありませんが、任意のカードを4枚入れられない時点で困りましたローカルファイルの更新で、一旦の解決をしました。

Assests not loading
I am playing MTG Arena on PC. For the last few days I have not been able to load any card assets. All the cards in the game have a black face and will only occasionally tell me what the card is. As you can imagine it is difficult for me to play the game if I can't see what cards are in my hand. I have attempted to repair the game files through the app but has made no effect. I am not sure what to do to fix my game.

Karn, the Great Creator
Had an Artifact card exiled with Thought-Knot Seer and wasnt able to get it back with Karn, the Great Creator. The - 2 ability says clearly "own in Exile".

Paradox Engine Not working

[bug]Naga Fleshcrafter destroyed all controlled creatures instead of copying nonlegendary
When using Naga Fleshcrafter and putting a +1/+1 token on a mossborn hydra, all other controlled creatures were suddenly destroyed.

stop forcing alchemy
Stop forcing alchemy into everything. We don't want to be forced to play Alchemy every time there's a midweek Magic event. It's pathetic and worthless and it sucks. Stop printing 5 color goodstuff commander and stop foricng ******** alchemy into every single format you fat idiots push out. It's pathetic and the alchemy ******** is so pushed and forced. And you guys ruin the game with this.

Yargle Day Achievements do not work post patch
A Frog of Culture and Death by Vanilla are still not working today.
I built a deck containing the minimum number of Dominaria cards and even made sure to use the original Dominaria printings just in case and it did not log.
For death by Vanilla I played a single Savannah Lion and then only counterspells and removal. My opponent conceded around turn 6.3 votes -
Spending Orbs is a waste of time
I think spending orbs is a waste of time, just give me the prizes randomly.
I have not written anything here that has been done, but if I am only given this, I believe we can significantly improve the quality of life for players.

Issue with Achievement Rewards
When playing the Yargle event, I noticed my achievements haven't been awarded based on my gameplay.

Death By Vanilla Achievement not received on mac
My most recent match from this log was in Pioneer play. I cast two creatures, both had no abilities. I won the game, I did not receive the achievement. It's maddening, this achievement is a pain and when I complete the feat as described there is no reward.
