Please retire emotes that encourage players to be immature and rude
There are three emotes—sleeping giant, sleeping hedron, and wolves yapping at Arlinn—that 95% of the time are used to say "I don't like that you killed my creature". People who cannot handle one of their creatures being killed should not be playing Arena, or Magic at all. Removing creatures is an integral part of the game, but some players get bothered so much by one creature getting removed that they have to whine about it. In fact, they are encouraged to whine about it with the emotes they have been provided. Please stop giving rude, immature players the tools to lash out and complain towards their opponents who have done nothing wrong by removing a creature. Please retire these three emotes and give a gem or pack reward to all players who had them. As the curator of a game / community, you have a responsibility to promote the wellbeing of players, and a duty to weed out toxicity and toxic players who can't interact with others in a respectful way. Thanks for your time.

Deck builder search issue with Vintage card styles in Brawl
Hello MTG Arena Team,
I am a Brawl player on MTG Arena and I would like to report an issue with the deck builder and card search system.
There are certain cards that appear to be hidden or very difficult to find when searching, especially cards with Vintage styles. For example, Mystical Tutor (1 mana instant).
Even though there is a newer version from the recent Avatar expansion, I prefer to use the Vintage-style version of the card. The card does exist and can be used, but it does not appear properly in search results. The only way to find it is by manually browsing page by page through the collection, which makes deck building unnecessarily difficult.
Ideally, there should be a collection or search icon/filter that allows players to specifically find cards with Vintage styles, or at least ensure that all available styles appear correctly in search results.
If there is already a way to display or filter these cards that I am missing, please let me know.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
Best regards,

Duplicate Earthbending Animation
Steps to reproduce:
1. Oponnent plays Iroh, tea master, and gives me control of 2 of their lands over 2 turns.
2. Opponent earthbends one of their own lands with Aang, at the crossroads (transformed).Result: Earthbending animation plays on the target land, as well as on the 2 lands now under my control.
Expected: Earthbending animation plays only on target land.Does not affect gameplay, just incorrect animation.

Give us more gold and more packs
Put more code cards in physical packs. Give us gold when we lose. Give us wildcards instead of random rares when we buy 10 packs. Just flat out give us more opportunities to get digital packs. Youre stifling creativity because people have to devote themselves to the deck they create with what they have. Why dont you treat arena like the pokemon tcg online? Make it easier to create multiple decks to try things out. I think new fans will appreciate this, because once Ninja Turtles gets released, I'm done with magic, and I've played since Alpha.

Restoration Magic cannot be played
Version 2026.56.6.11336.1236969, playing on PC (Windows client)
During a Brawl game, while we both have creatures, I held Restoration Magic in my hand with enough untapped lands to pay any of its costs. I let my opponent attack me, then choose my blockers. Then, I get the priority, can use an ability of an artifact I control, but cannot cast Restoration Magic at all. I drag it from my hand, but nothing happens.
My opponent had no specific permanent forbidding me from casting anything, nor had played any spell forbidding it (and me neither).
I just could not play that spell at all, but should have been able to.Version 2026.56.6.11336.1236969, playing on PC (Windows client)

Stop Nerfing MTGA Powered Cube
Why are you continuously removing powerful cards to create a watered down version of a Vintage Cube?
Where is the consideration for the players that like high powered magic and would like to see staple cards (Guide of Souls, Fable of the Mirror Breaker, Gut, Bombardiers) return to the cube.1 vote -

Wildcard disappeared
I had 3 Mythic Wildcards after opening my Lorwyn Eclipsed journey release packs. Now I only have 1. Customer service confirms that I traded 1 Mythic Wildcard along with other trades. Customer service is telling me that I never had 3 Mythic Wildcards.
Keep track of your own stuff I guess? Take screen shots? Make your trades all at once? Cover yourself like you're trading with sharks?

Windswept Heath didn't work 😞
I sacrificed Windswept Heath for a Forest but didn't get it and I know for a fact I've got Forest Lands... 😒

didnt see cards
with the sol ring sleves and the new lorwyn interface. When your opponent has a card in their hand, it gives the impression that they don't have any in their hand.

Client Returns to Event Screen Instead of Reconnecting Mid‑Match (Windows 11)
- Steps to reproduce the bug
Play any MTG Arena match (constructed or event).
Experience a brief connection hiccup or momentary network instability.
Instead of receiving the usual “Reconnect” screen, the client immediately exits the match and returns to the event screen.
Attempting to re‑enter the match from the event screen is not possible.
- Platform
Windows 11 PC
- Actual results
When a short disconnection occurs, the client drops out of the active match and sends the player back to the event screen.
The game does not offer a reconnect option.
This can happen repeatedly within a short timeframe even though the internet connection remains active.
- Expected results
The client should display the “Reconnect” screen and automatically return the player to the ongoing match without leaving the event interface.
Screenshots/videos
Workaround
Manually launch a second instance of MTG Arena.
When the new instance starts, it detects the ongoing match and reconnects to it.
This workaround causes a significant delay due to the full client startup time.

Animation showing more cards in hand than are actually there
Playing on my android phone, I encounter a bug where it showed my opponent with more cards in hand than they had.
My opponent was showing 3 cards in hand: one disdainful stroke, one Riddler (both of which I knew about from a previous The End), and one unknown card. They then proceeded to warp Riddler and draw 2 cards even though the animation showed them holding stroke and another unknown card as the Riddler trigger resolved.
I cast Binding Negotiations the next turn and it shows me their hand of stroke, Forest, cub.. and a face down card in their hand.

Restrict strip mine
Tired of the non games strip mine causes. It forces decks to have to run a low curve, crippling any deck that utilizes higher cost cards even with accelerated mana.

Full control and Untap phase
The Untap Phase shouldn’t be skipped. It is a crucial part of the game.
After I went full-control, and passed the turn, I went back to regular mode. I lost the ability to respond to their untap phase. I had a play (a land ability) to make.
Why not make untap a standard response stage or make full-control mode a setting, and not an In-game option only?

Insane degeneration of this horrible game
I'm just gonna keep talking about it because it's so stupid. Used to be that it would alternate days, one day it would be terrible matches, maybe one or two wins, every other game is gonna be a creatively sadistic match and card draws, a bummer but slightly more tolerable because the next day it would be better. Now.... now it's every day. Every day mostly losses, and all games that I, no matter how I play the hand, have any chance of winning. Long streaks of losing these types of games, I'll give them credit for the creativity in generating losses, but it makes no difference what deck I play or how I play. They've got themselves a mandate, everything on rails, this is exactly how many games each player will win or lose and how, basically the illusion of choice. Again, I'll ask, why and how does this equate to success?

Season of Gathering
A couple times now, there's been a bug with the "Season" cards from Bloomburrow. This time, it happened with Season of Gathering. I'm sorry my screenshot doesn't show the actual bug, but what happened is that my opponent cast the card, and while it was on the stack the text box of the card looked as if it was displaying the modes my opponent chose, but there were like ten pawprints-worth of modes chosen, instead of 5, so I couldn't tell what the spell was going to do. Hopefully I'm explaining this correctly! Thanks for your time.

matchmaking is so cruel
Does anybody else get trapped in sadistic loss cycles? Like ten twenty games in a row? Strange creative sadistic matchups wherein I have no chance of ever winning? Does it go on for ten or twenty games at a time? Does anyone else just go on streaks of instantly quitting... I don't know... ten, twenty games in a row just to try to get the idiotic system to deliver one fun game again? What's your percentage of fun games? Actually fun? At this point I'm pretty sure it'll never deliver a fun game again....
