How to report a bug
1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

5. Add any relevant screenshots/videos
6. If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

get rid of paradigm
Paradigm cards are basically cheating as far as I'm concerned. Anyone who uses them in their decks is an uncool person. They should be totally banned. There shouldn't exist any cards that are unstoppable and untouchable. Cards that go into exile should be considered out of the game like it was originally intended. A card in exile should not be coming back and effecting gameplay at all, especially not every turn. If they make up game dynamics like this on a card, at the very least they should make a card that removes it or nullifies it. They still haven't figured that out for poison counters. There should be a way to remove those. All of these cards are broken. They ruin the game.

login error: User not found

MTG Arena Error Updating Data continues
Hello,
as of 10.08 Im unable to download updates. i just resets, regardless of the download (example: it downloaded 50 mb of 150 mb. it throws a Error Updating Data. I retry. Instead of now downloading XX mb of 100 mb, it still is stuck on 150mb).

In the last 3 days, i was only able to download 20mb (twenty) that "sticked", all the other times it reseted. I started to have this problem since July 2026 as i tried to reinstall Arena (it took me 5 days to install Arena then). I never experienced a problem like this before, nothing in my setup, or internet connection has changed.
Im using the Arena Launcher. Updates via the launcher (the black/orange interface), like the one yesterday (18.08.26) download and install without problems (weirdly after installing, it then starts to search for an update again, searching for 0B/0B for a while and the closes). The Error Updating Data only occures when Arena itselfs tries to download files before starting.Under this post: https://feedback.wizards.com/forums/918667-mtg-arena-bugs-product-suggestions/suggestions/51591236-error-updating-data someone has shared a potential reason why this might happen.
Alternatively, is there a way to download the missing files manually or through another repository?
It would be nice, if something would be done about this.

sideboard
Cannot Sideboard in Bo3 Games.
Numerous reports on this issue, it kills Bo3 and has been around forever. Unbelievable it's still out there.

riddles
Riddles not working properly. First 3 were fine, then I got a message called "eighth riddle", which was "what have I got in my pocket". "Ring" didn't work so I started putting in the answers to other Bilbo-Gollum riddles, and "egg" worked. Presumably that was the 4th riddle? Next message was "sixth riddle", the fish one, and fish did work. Then I got 7th riddle, the time one, put in "time" and it said code already redeemed. Maybe because I already tried that for the 8th/4th one? At this point I gave up.

‘Can’t make draft pick’ bug
In my last three premier mixed-up draft events, I’ve gotten the bug ‘can’t make draft pick’, where I’m then locked out of the draft and have to watch as the computer drafts for me halfway through. Could I be refunded for these events?

Game not launching after Update (9.9.GJ26)
not launching after update 9.9.GJ26 (but everything was fine all the months and years before)While the game was working fine for many years now, today I have the first update getting me stuck totally.
I have old version of mtga, and double checked BEFORE this update, the game starts, and requesting new version.
->MTGA Launcher.exe doesnt install the update properly. (I dont know the error massage; something was corrupt).
It said it wants to install something and requesting windows to reboot for it; but shortly after, the install of the update aborts unexpected, and doesnt finish the process.
I rebooted my PC, and ...Then when starting MTGA.exe it gives me a error code 0xc0000005 upon launching.
Then I looked the install directory, and I did find the new update (31 mb) in the update folder.
I started it manually.
The installation took some minutes, succesful.Now, When I launch MTGA.exe or MTGAlauncher, it will load as a process with 200 kb, and nothing happens.
I can start multiple instances of this process, but its doing nothing.The game was working fine to this day on my Windows 7 legacy update. Newer games work fine with VXkex API extension.
I didnt use VXkex for MTGA yet.
Before I elaborate this, I want to know, If a usual update can fix my problem?As I said, all the time its running fine.

First Turn getting skipped
My first turn whether I am going first or second is getting skipped every few games. This was never an issue before last week. And its really annoying when this happens when I pay for a draft and then am forced to discard a card on my first turn becuase I wasnt allowed to play my land……….I attached the log file from today. I would really like this to be fixed. I like to booster draft, but I will not spend the money anymore as losing a whole turn is really bad and not fair.

Just like other players reported, I've empowered Jace in a match against another player (timeless play) past 10, and didn't got the achievement.
the match was on my account and ended at around 22:00 GMT+1, i can't share anything else besides I'm on Android

Duplicate Protection triggered while I am still missing rare cards
I am missing 20 rare and 19 mythic rare from Reality Fracture. I gained one normal pack from Set Mastery and open it, it gave me 20 gems instead of a rare. Then I tested the situation by buying a normal pack using 200 gems and opened it. Again it gave me 20 gems instead of a rare card. I checked using "-?booster" to see if my missing rares are non-booster cards, they are not.

dragging a card while selection times out breaks draft
If you are dragging a card when the timer runs out, it basically disconnects you. This means by the time you restart and reconnect you have likely missed several draf picks. NumotTheNummy hit this on stream so its clearly a known bug

This game sucks so ******* bad its disgusting. Land distribution is ******* horrible.
The algorithm is blatantly rigged. I should be mythic by now, but the land is rigged. You are greedy jerks for this. I feel like this game, as in Arena, is a scam to keep people giving up money for non physical products. Everyone is kept close in win rate to each other. It should be illegal to operate this way in my opinion. Such a waste too, cause you have created a great game platform, and ruined it by being greedy.

Scute Swarm
My opponent made too many scute swarm tokens, and the timer system booted me.
While resolving a great multitude of scute swarm triggers, my opponents timer rope began to run out, followed by a time out being used. After that was exhausted, my timer rope began to burn down, despite having no possible actions available to me. I had one untapped land (Hedge Maze), and one untapped creature with a mana ability, but it was summoning sick. Also no cards in hand that were available, due to the lack on available mana.
So while I had no actions available to me, was automatically set to auto-pass, and while Arena was resolving my opponent's triggers, my timer was depleted.
When my next turn started, the game rushed me through my draw step and right to my end step triggers of Chimil, the Inner Sun, then selecting nothing to cast, and passing to my opponent's next turn. During that turn they triggered Scute Swarm again, and the game made me auto-forfeit due to running out of time.
Also, the gear symbol to open up the menu disappeared from the top-right corner of the screen during the first turn mentioned, so conceding the game was no longer an option.
