1. FF/Bloomburrow Starter Decks Should be in Starter Duel Event

   The store bought starter decks that you import digital codes to arena (Final Fantasy and Bloomburrow) should be playable in the Starter Deck Duel Event. That is where most people complete their quests. It allows new players to see these starter decks and encourage them to buy the set kits, packs, etc.

   Currently I own both starter decks and I find it difficult to play them in standard play or ranked. Having them playable in Starter Deck Duel will allow more opportunity to play a basic deck in hopes to be 50% winrate vs other starter decks as opposed to 10% vs izzet, landfall, aggro white, etc.

2. unholy annex

   Unholy annex is way too strong to play against, it completely invalidates the integrity of the ranked ladder. I wish you guys would playtest these cards and stop releasing jank like this over and over and over again. I understand that designing hundreds of cards a year is not easy but literally nobody asked you to release that many sets a year? I used to be proud to spend money on this game now I feel like an idiot because the quality is so garbage lately. Fix unholy annex, there's no reason it should be draining life on top of everything else the card offers.

3. MTG needs a full reset - Back from 4 turn gamble like flip a coin games to actual fun engaging LONGER gameplay

   Too often playing MTG arena feels like gambling.
   You either have a **** hand and **** mulligens forcing you to concede immediately

   Or you think you have a good hand and still you get raped after 4 turns only

   Or you persist and call yourself lucky to find maybe one or two actually fun games over one evening that aren't over and decided after 4 turns

   There is an overkill of same old boring decks being played with little to no personal creative input

   There is a ridiculous amount of powercreep being forced through new sets

   Many of the sets being released are hideous and have no place in the world of MTG
   The artwork is completely disjointed. Honestly I can't see another Final Fantasy anime card without puking.
   MTG has lost all cohesion. I played MTG for its own UNIQUE ART RICH FANTASY WORLD.
   Why the **** then are we seeing Final Fantasy anime cards that have no place in the MTG world, yet they contain some of the most OP cards. I am looking at you Vivi Ornitier.

   You can attract all the players of every franchise all you want. But when at the core your game is broken and 9/10 matches dont even reach turn 7 because modern cards pump so hard any kind of LEVEL PLAYINGFIELD is completely gone you will only chase players away.

   Balance is a word long gone from the world of Magic

4. Forced to sit through animation

   In the inbox, I opened the first message from the new update, and was forced to sit through a 10 minute long, completely stupid animation that told a story I don't give any amounts of poo about, with no way to skip and NO WAY TO RETURN TO THE GAME ONCE IT WAS OVER WITHOUT RESTARTING THE APP. It's bad enough to make old players who loved the old monster/horror art sit through the dumb fluffy bunny, rainbows and cute woodland creatures that have ruined the awesomeness of the game by catering to gender confused, Gen z snowflakes... but then to make us have to restart the game after forcing us to witness more WOTC woke stupidity...

5. Landfall Land drop based Decks are too powerful and stupid

   Turn 2 Landfall Death. Fun! You are making this even more powerful with the new releases. Roughly 50% of opponents are running this EXACT SAME deck. This is worse than Red Aggro! Mossborn Hydra is the worst offender, but Chocobo and others are just as bad. Is literally impossible to beat unless you get perfect removal cards multiple times in a row. I refuse to play against these decks anymore until you fix this craziness. I just call them out in comments/emotes and scoop. Needless to say ranked play is completely NOT HAPPENING! Try surviving a 20/20 w/Trample on Turn 2! The game is BROKEN RIGHT NOW!

6. Game randomly stops accepting my input

   When playing(mobile, android), the game will think I'm not doing anything. Example: turn 1 I play a land and nothing happens, then after a while the game timer comes on as if I was sitting idle and not doing anything. I can only get back to it by completely closing the app and reopening it. It's happened a lot and it happens the same way every time. Whenever I log back in it, the text on the loading screen is all wonky and just says "discription" in letters that look more like The One Ring. Then when I get back in the board is all fractured and weird. Screenshots included of the weird writing and the fractured looking field.

7. ADD CHAT TO THE GAME TO CURSE ON LAME PLAYERS PLAYING SAME OLD BORING O.P. DECKS

   Trying to enjoy MTG Arena but it is impossible.
   Out of 10 Brawl games tonight 4 were against Vivi Ornitier, 3 against Maralen, Fae Ascendant and 3 against Heliod, Sun-Crowned

   Literally the most boring, OP, repetition of sad players all playing the same decks using ZERO amount of their own creativity

   Please add a CHAT function so I can call those players out for what they are.
   Sad, boring, soulless, gamebreaking, sweaty basement dwellers that are ruining the entire MTG experience

   Games are decided before turn 4 or 5.
   Seriously, who enjoys this **** any longer?

   Opponents ALWAYS seem to get PERFECT hands and their mega combos start rolling from turn 2.

   The boring powercreep is insane and this **** needs to be called out to those player's faces.

   Dear MTG Arena Development Team,

   I am writing to request the addition of key cards to MTG Arena to better support the Explorer and Pioneer formats.

   While the recent "Tarkir Dragonstorm" release was exciting, I was disappointed that the Silumgar-themed spells and the Dragon itself were not fully included. As a big fan of the Silumgar brood and the Tarkir lore, I strongly wish to play a dedicated Dimir Dragon Control deck in Pioneer/Explorer.

   Specifically, I am requesting the implementation of:

   Silumgar, the Drifting Death (A core finisher for the deck)

   Silumgar's Scorn (The most crucial counterspell for Dragon-based shells)

   Foul-Tongue Invocation (Essential removal and lifegain for the archetype)

   Adding these would satisfy long-time Tarkir fans and increase deck diversity in the current meta. Please bring the true power of the Dragonlords to the digital battlefield!

9. Card images not loading and extreme performamce issues

   I joined a Power Cube Draft and experienced issues with rendering. ard visuals and performance.

   Cards would only display the frame and background, except for alternate treatments which displayed more detail.

   Between draft picks, my client would freeze for ~15 seconds and play the "card sliding into frame" sound consecutively the whole time. This prevented me from picking cards, which I couldn't see, for the latter portion of the pack. When the draft was complete, it took me multiple minutes to load the deck construction view, and interacting with it cause my client to freeze.

   I'll attach some screenshots here. I attempted to capture logs but I don't see them on my device.

   I plan on un installing and re installing, but I'd really like to get a refund for the draft if possible.

10. Trying to Undermine Scryfall is to Undermine MTGA

    Disclaimer, I dont use the Gather to look up cards.

    That out of the way, please make it easy for sites like Scryfall, to maintain THEIR database for new releases.

    MTGA, like MTGO is a secondary database. This shouldnt be such a chore to maintain. Here is just ONE example of how product releases didnt happen cleanly and Scryfall's database for MTGA should be more complete but isnt.

    MTGA search: "s:mh2" = 162 MH2 cards.
    Scryfall search: "s:mh2 game:arena" = 17 MH2 cards are shown.
    (//These counts are true as of 24 March 2025)

    MH2 was never released fully for MTGA. Bit by bit, MH2 cards have been added to the client.

    Work with the brilliant people at Scryfall to help to figure out a decent middle ground. Something that is sustainable for all parties.

    (See comment for more details about what utility Scryfall offers that the Gather and WotC cannot do for Magic.)

11. Permanent Casual / Experimental Play Space to MTG Arena

    Summary

    MTG Arena currently lacks a permanent space that structurally encourages experimentation and casual deckbuilding. While competitive formats work well, players who enjoy brewing non-meta decks have no reliable place to find like-minded opponents.

    The Problem

    In both Standard and Historic — ranked and unranked — matches often feel extremely narrow. Most games are against the same highly optimized decks. This is not necessarily a balance issue; it’s a structural issue.

    There is no dedicated space that encourages experimentation. Players who enjoy brewing archetypes from recent sets, slower synergy-based decks, or “let’s do the thing because it’s fun” strategies struggle to find opponents with similar intentions. Even the unranked queue frequently mirrors the competitive metagame.

    As a result:

    • Many set-specific archetypes never become viable in 60-card play.

    • New releases feel less exciting outside of Draft.

    • Creative deckbuilders feel pushed toward meta decks or away from the format entirely.

    What Could Help

    Here are a few potential directions (not demands, just ideas):

    1) Optional Deck Labels for Unranked Play

    Allow players to tag decks as “Casual” or “Experimental” in unranked queues and match accordingly.

    2) Community-Based Play Spaces

    introducing communities within Arena. For example, I could join a “Casual Players” community with agreed-upon rules. Or someone could create a “Format-X” community with specific deckbuilding restrictions — for example, 60-card decks with a maximum number of mythics and rares, giving commons and uncommons more room to shine and making deckbuilding less expensive. There could be a Pauper community, other experimental formats, and so on.

    Players could join communities and respond to open match requests — similar to direct challenges, but community-wide.

    3) Bringing back a form of the old “Block Format.” Block would mean playing only with cards from a specific set. This could improve the viability of certain strategies and archetypes from new releases.

    Summary

12. AI Art Winter Avatars

    I understand that A.I. is everywhere and essentially unavoidable. (Heck, I even used it to edit this complaint.) It can be a valuable tool that, when used responsibly, can enhance an artist’s work. However, the winter avatars cross the line from “A.I. assisted” to “A.I. created” for me and the inconsistencies in the artwork make that hard to ignore.

    Issues with Oko:
    -Oko’s belt has metal rivet holes, but the belt’s needle doesn’t pass through a rivet.
    -There are two belt segments with holes, implying two belts, yet only one buckle.
    -The end of the tucked belt can’t be tucked into the buckle as drawn.
    -The belt wraps three times around his left hip but only twice around his right.
    -The belt should end after the rivets, but it continues behind the dagger.
    -Oko’s scarf wrappings don’t follow a coherent structure. Both ends seem to wrap clockwise around his neck.

    Issues with Vivian:
    -Vivian’s belts appear completely flat to the viewer despite her dynamic pose.
    -Her corset’s base leather layer should have a seam that’s missing.
    -The buckles vary in size and shape in ways that look unintentional rather than stylized.
    -The fingers on her right hand are all the same length.

    Individually, any one of the issues above could be dismissed as an artistic choice. Taken together, though, they point to the irresponsible use of generative art. If these avatars are meant to represent handcrafted artwork, the inconsistencies need to be addressed.

13. All graphical assets disappeared after several 1/1 tokens blocked and died

    Hi,

    Event occurred on my iPad 10th Generation

    Both my opponent and I had Lluwen, Imperfect Naturalist on the battlefield. We were both repeatedly activated Lluwen’s ability (over a number of turns) to discard a land and create 1/1 worm tokens equal to number of lands in your graveyard. On two or three occasions, my opponent attacked with all of his tokens, and I blocked each 1/1 token with one of my 1/1 tokens. As the attack and death animations progressed, they began becoming buggier and buggier. Eventually, the animation just quit occurring entirely (the sound effects still occurred). Following the animation no longer occurring, my opponent activated Lluwen on the following turn. When he did, a singular token appeared on the battlefield with no number to indicate how many there were (there should have been 7 I believe). I then also activated my own Lluwen, and the exact same thing happened on my side of the board.

    Once this occurred, I attempted to restart the Arena app. When I loaded back into the game, all graphical assets were completely missing, and there was now a new background. (I could still see the timer bar running, but no cards appeared anywhere).

    I attempted to then load into the game on a different iOS device (iPhone 15 Pro Max), and I had the same experience, except the background was once again different.

    Un adage dit "le ridicule ne tue pas" et ce jeux en est le parfait exemple car les comportements des joueurs autant que de l'entreprise qui exploite cette liscence font preuve d'un ridicule qui dépasse de loin l'entendement:

    • Donner de l'argent à une entreprise qui fait croire à ces joueurs qu'ils savent jouer alors que ces mêmes joueurs sont incapable de se rendrent compte que le tirage de carte est complétement truqué.

    • Donner de l'argent à une entreprise qui entretient un forum de discussion avec l'argent des joueurs sans jamais répondre à la moindre question.

    • Donner de l'argent à une entreprise qui fait tous pour que les jouers ne puissent pas communiquer entre eux de leurs expérience de jeux.

    • Donner de l'argent à une entreprise qui reçoit des milliers de plaintes pour des excroqueries sur les achats d'articles VIRTUELS sur leurs jeux.

    • Donner de l'argent dans un jeux alors que lorsque l'on sait jouer, on peut trés vite amasser des piéces d'or et des gemmes gratuitement.

    • Continuez à donner de l'argent à cette entreprise alors des mathématiciens diplomés ont donner la preuve que la distribution des cartes lors d'une partie ne respecte pas les régles élémentaires de probabilité.

    Donc si aprés la lecture de ces quelques faits avérés et dénoncer par un nombre toujours plus grandissant de joueurs, vous vous sentez pas ridicule, c'est que même le bon dieu ne peut plus rien faire pour vous, la médiocrité intellectuelle que vous représentez est insurmontable.

15. Product Suggestion

    Matchmaking for Brawl has got to be better. At this point, I would say it's completely broken.

    I play the game a lot, probably too much. But I don't always want to play the meta decks.

    I have the current "best" decks for the meta (Ajani/Katara/Rofellos/Tamiyo), and my Ajani deck is actually sitting at around 80% winrate in Brawl since TMNT came out (image attached).

    But when I want a change of pace and want to play something different, I shouldn't have to match into the top meta decks with another deck that isn't even close to the same level as them to where it's not even a competition. I don't play against a ton of non meta decks when I'm playing meta decks, so I don't understand why I consistently get matched against the meta myself when I'm not playing the meta myself.

    There's no reason for an off meta deck using off meta cards to consistently match into ****-queue. I understand there is personal MMR in play, but I think deck rating should heavily out rate personal MMR so you don't feel like you're out gunned because you want to play a "fun" deck instead of a competitive deck. Brawl isn't a ranked queue, I get it, but at the same time, you shouldn't be matching into a 50 couterspell tuned Tamiyo deck every other match with your silly little foods deck that you're just trying to have fun with.

16. Underworld Breach/Lotus Petal and Priority

    Today I discovered an unintended bug where a completely won position was lost becasue of priority being automatically passed while I was still able to take game actions.

    Here is an example board state:

    Underworld Breach is played on my side, I have a lotus petal in play and 7 cards in my graveyard, and am tapped out of lands; the cards in my graveyard are 6 lands and a brain freeze.

    As the game works currently, the priority mechanism looks at my boardstate, decides that I cannot cast any spells by cracking my lotus petal to generate one mana, and passes priority. This means that i cannot ***** petal --> replay petal --> ***** petal --> cast brain freeze, unless I hold full control.

    Unfortunately, I did not know this unintended mechanic existed, and lost 2 cube games this way, causing me to lose 2 games which I had won (Breach, petal, brain freeze, with enough cards in yard to loop). I understand that holding full control would stop this occurance, but believe that the system should be smart enough to not pass priority with a breach resolved and a spell I can cast. This cost me real money in the form of gems which I cannot recover.

17. Route for Parallax / Extended Art requests

    Can we have a route for requesting Parallax/Extended Art treatments for cards and tokens in previous sets that never got that treatment?

    Presuming there is a "Parallax team" as it were, as new sets continue to get this treatment, it would be wonderful to have a community route in for the most popular/desired "missed" cards to get this treatment.

    Top of my list for example is Riders of the Mark from LOTR - nearly all the other red human typal cards from that set got the parallax treatment except for probably the best card in that archetype! It feels terrible having an otherwise fully-parallax deck with the main finisher not being in that style. The human tokens it produces already have parallax versions from other parallax-treated cards from that set, e.g. Rally at the Hornburg, so it feels like a quick job and would be much appreciated!

    I'm sure there are others out there with specific "missed" cards/tokens in otherwise fully parallax-styled decks that they would love to request this style for, but there seems to be no information on why some cards were left out and how we can request this.

    Parallax styles continue to be promoted in the shop and are much loved by many Arena fans, but not being able to "complete" a deck with all cards in this style is a real feel-bad that could be easily avoided.

    Please upvote this suggestion if you're a frustrated parallax collector too!

    • 80% des joueurs sont les mêmes que l'ont croise IRL, des pauvres frustrés de la vie obéses, à l'extitence insignifiante de névrosé qui cherche dans ce jeux un moyen de donner un sens à leurs pathétique petite vie sans aucun intérêt pour l'humanité.

    • Ces 80% donnent leurs argents pour gagner sur ce jeux car il ne supportent pas de pouvoir perdre.

    • 50% des joueurs ont la mentalité d'un enfant de 10 ans qui fait des caprices quand ils perdent en abusant du sablier.

    • 90% des joueurs ont le coefficient intellectuel d'une huitre et sont incapables de se rendrent compte que la pioche est manipulé par l'algorithme .

    • 100% des joueurs sont des défficient mentaux qui trouvent normal de gagner un combat avec un deck de 250 cartes en 5 tours.

    • 200% des idiots qui postent un commentaies ici sont aveugle devant le fait que cette entreprise ne porte aucune importance aux commentaires postés sur ce forum.

    • 80% des joueurs participant au mode Classement sont incapables de se rendre compte que leurs classement est proportionnel à la quantité d'argent qu'ils ont mit dans les poches de cette entreprise.

    • 200% des gens qui achétent les produits de cette entreprise sont des pauvres lobomisés a 3 neurones car complétement aveugle à la réalité que cette entreprise génére des dividendes financier en vendant des bouts de cartons avec des décorations faites par des artistes payés une misére.

    • 10% des joueurs sont des personnes inteligentes, fair play et bonne humainement.

    • 100% des joueurs qui achétent des decks préconstruit sur cette version en ligne de ce jeux sont des demeurés qui ne rendent pas compte que l'on peut construire ces decks simplement en sachant jouer et en gagnant des piéces d'or.

19. TP-Link disconnects when I open the client

    Hello Support Team,

    Occasionally, when I launch the game, it gets stuck before the splash screen appears. At that exact moment, my TP-Link Mesh node (my desktop PC is connected to it via Ethernet) turns red, indicating a total loss of internet connectivity (I literally my network crash). As soon as I close the game, the mesh node immediately returns to green and the connection is fully restored. No reboot or manual action is needed.

    This makes the game completely impossible to start when the issue occurs.

    I checked the logs from the moment this happens, and they consistently show repeated network errors during startup:

    -NameResolutionFailure when trying to send HTTP requests (DNS resolution fails)
    -Multiple "The operation has timed out errors"
    -Failed to receive data responses
    -Requests being canceled after repeated retries (TaskCanceledException)
    -Errors happen during startup/login-related calls (fast login, Doorbell/BIKE messages, Backtrace reporting)

    This suggests that during startup the client tries to reach backend, login, or telemetry endpoints, but DNS resolution or connectivity fails. The client then retries several requests until they time out or get canceled.

    What’s unusual is that these errors happen at the same time my mesh node loses connectivity (red light). Once I close the game, the network immediately recovers. This makes it look like the startup network traffic pattern is somehow triggering a failure in my router/mesh (DNS, firewall, NAT table, or similar), rather than a simple temporary disconnect.

    My setup

    -Desktop PC connected via Ethernet
    -TP-Link Mesh system (PC connected to a mesh node, not directly to the main router)
    -Issue happens before the splash screen
    -Network drops only while the game is running
    -Connection restores instantly after closing the game

    I can provide full logs, network captures, router model, or run any tests you recommend if that helps identify the cause. Please let me know if there are specific domains, ports, or endpoints that should be allowlisted, or if there’s any known issue related to startup networking.
